"You took out the Emperor's army in one swoop, and for that I want you to pay," said the second commander of Emperor Lucas's men.
"But Commander Drew, the Emperor specifically said he wants her unspoiled," said the other Commander.
"I don't care. I want her to pay for what she did. She took away our victory."
"But-"
"Charge!"
Rosie said, "You're going to die before you even get near me."
"You stupid bitch! How could you ruined everything when we were so close!"
"You got your own purposes and I got my own purpose."
"All for an old man whose about to die!"
"That old man is my grandfather. Whom you should bowing to!"
"Humph." He spit on the ground. "I will never bow down to the Zhu kingdom!"
"Then you are seeking you're own death."
"You talk a lot for a woman. I like the obedient ones."
"Don't worry you're not good enough for me either."
"Humph!" He charged at Rosie.
"Die," said Rosie, summoning up her magic. She summoned a white poisonous needle and shot straight through Commander Drew's heart. He intake in a breath before he fell on the ground. He was coughing up blood from his mouth and died.
"Commander Drew!" shouted the other commander. He ran over to his friend's dead body. He clenched his fist tightly. "You! How could you!"
"He's a wicked man. He doesn't deserve to live."
"What?"
"You know that as well as I do."
The commander clenched his fist even tighter till it turned white.
"He asked for it the moment he threatened me."
"This war. These fights..."
"Isn't it tiring?"
The commander release his fist and sat there holding onto his dead friend's body.
"You're all doing this for the greed of a selfish man. While you're claiming victory, the cries of men, women, children echoed your land. Don't you think it should end already?"
He closed the eyes of his dead friend. "Go! Run away!" shouted the commander.
"What?"
"The next time we met, I will kill you."
"Fine. The next time I meet you, I will show you no mercy as well."
Rosie turned around and run away.
"Yuni," shouted Rosie.
Out of the dense mountain came a howling cry. A huge white wolf with red marking on her forehead came forth.
"Princess," said Yuni bowing down to Rosie.
Rosie climb on her and said, "Let's go."
"What? She have a wolf?" thought Prince Regent.
"Interesting. That woman you said is called Elisa?"
"She's none of your concern."
"Elisa Qian as in the Commander Qian's granddaughter?"
"Your battle is with me."
"I didn't know that old man would have such a beautiful granddaughter." Emperor Lucas was dodging Prince Regent's sword. "But why did she call that other man grandfather? What's going on?." he thought.
"Keep your hands away from her." Prince Regent swung his sword at Emperor Lucas's neck.
The Emperor barely dodge it and said, "No. Since I have my eyes on her, I'm going to have her."
"Then you have a death wish." Prince Regent lunged at him.
The Emperor was slower and couldn't dodge his sword this time and got stabbed in the arm. He screeched in pain.
The Emperor tried to stab his sword at Prince Regent's heart but missed.
Prince Regent's other sword pierced his other leg, and he went kneeling down on the ground. He was screaming in pain as he was immobilized by Prince Regent's swords.
"Prince Regent, there's backup coming for the Emperor," shouted Commander Wang.
Prince Regent removed one of his swords and the Emperor let out another scream.
"Emperor!" shouted his commander.
He came driving his sword to Prince Regent's side, but he missed.
"You are lucky that you got help this time. Because next time, I will make sure I murder you," shouted Prince Regent. "I will kill all those people in the palace first, then your head is what I'm coming for next!"
The Emperor grunted in pain.
"Come on, Prince Regent," said Commander Wang.
Prince Regent jumped on his horse and headed back to the camp.
"That damn Prince Regent," said the Emperor's commander.
"He's too goddamn lucky," groaned the Emperor.
"Emperor, we got to get you back to the palace."
"Alright. Let's go."
"Yes, your highness."
The Emperor got up and was getting on his horse. When he looked around, he said, "Where is she?"
"Who?"
"The woman in red. The one with the phoenix's power."
"She escape."
"Escape?"
"She killed Commander Drew."
"Oh. Pity."
"Yes."
"I was talking about the woman."
His commander frowned.
"Let's go." He nudged his horse. "Wait."
"What is it?"
"Send the assassins after her. She must be captured at all costs."
"Right now?"
"Yes. They're all displaced after the fight. It will be easier to capture her."
"Yes, your highness."
"Send them after her," ushered the commander.
The assassins all rode on their horses and chased after the Prince Regent and his men.
"Good. Now all I need is some good news from this goddamn war," smiled the Emperor.
