I have a boyfriend now.

This feels so weird. We were just friends yesterday!

Gene and I were walking to school together like usual, but we were an awkward mess trying to act according to our new relationship status.

What are couples supposed to do while walking together!? Are we supposed to hold hands and stuff?

I began to panic trying to figure out the answers to my questions.

"You look nervous," Gene said with a calm looking red face. I still haven't figured out how he managed to pull such an expression.

Two cats were following behind him. What a cat magnet.

"You do too," I replied.

He quickly looked away. "Must be your imagination."

Momo was glad to see me back in school again. She was the first to greet me when we arrived.

"Are you all better now, Beatrice?" She checked up on me like a security guard at an airport.

I laughed awkwardly. "I'm all better now. Thanks for asking."
