Chapter 32

"Dog..."

"What is it my wifey?" Prof. Dog turned around to face his wife.

Gene and I spied on them from the other room.

Ms. Cat showed him the pregnancy test.

"You're pregnant!? We'll have an offspring?" Prof. Dog's tail wagged excitedly. "I can't wait to be a dad! I'm going to teach our little one the joys of mathematics and science! Oh, wifey!" He hugged Ms. Cat tightly.

Ms. Cat looked somewhat relieved. "You better not read a physics book instead of a regular bedtime story."

Prof. Dog laughed. "Why would I read him a physics book? Of course our offspring should start off with the basic principles of mathematics, woof!"

"Dog!"

"They're so cute! I want to punch a wall!" I tried to hold back my squeal.

Gene looked at me. "Please don't punch my wall."

"I'm glad Prof. Dog is all positive about it."

"Yeah. He looks really excited to become a father."

We continued to watch the couple.
