“Sit down, guys,” Marco said, “and enjoy the view.”
Two narrow tables had been set up in a sort of V formation, with the base of the V aimed at the plateau. Places were set on one side of the tables only, so that everyone could see the view as they ate.
They’d just made themselves comfortable when their hosts returned carrying trays. “Here you go,” Nick said, “good Greek wine and things to munch on. Andreas and I will get the rest of the food in a minute or two.”
By the time they were in the car and on the way back to the castle, everyone was surfeited. “After all that food and wine, I’ll be asleep before my head hits the pillow,” Tom said.
“Yeah,” Noah said, “me too.”
“What’s your schedule for tomorrow, Tom?” Marco said.
