Prelude

Though Alessandra, Madeen, Delphina, Claire, Emily, and Theo would also be attending the Second Prince's debut, tradition dictated that they arrive much earlier than Will and Lyra. If someone of a higher rank were to arrive early, it would preclude lower-ranking guests from entering the venue. As a result, Will and Lyra were expected to arrive at 6 PM and be declared at 6:30, while Alessandra, the daughter of a Countess, was required to arrive as early as 3:15.

To facilitate their timely arrival, Will and Lyra were seated together in their motorcade, a short flight from the Royal Palace. To pass the time, Will had a tablet in his hands, the screen playing an anime called Reincarnated as the Demon King's 34th Daughter, Can I Escape All These Death Flags!? as Lyra and Ohta flanked him, observing it intently. The main character had a system similar to the one he was using, so he felt it was a convenient way of helping the duo understand his power.
