"What bet do you want to make young lad." he inquired with an absent mind.

" If I win I take everything that you possess mostly your techniques and memories of swordsmanship," he replied.

"What if you lose." the old wondered about something and answered "I know........ you will need to find a person who would pass my trail and inheritance my technique, with each failure your life span is taken." the old man had an angered expression and said, "But they are no ways we can solidify this deal of ours." 

Before his eyes blue flames burned in mid-air and a contract that shocked him appeared, a soul contract something even in their Era was a rare artifact that was wanted by all. Lavune was lost for words without anything he could comment on as he read the text on. Seeing his reactions Alex laughed and said "Please write the techniques that you possess at the moment." A pen appeared which he wrote.

"How can someone as weak as you be able to obtain such a treasure." The old inquired frustrated and regretting his actions a moment ago. Alex didn't answer him but just checked the contract before signing it and the old man also signed it. 

"You judged a book by its cover without knowing the true depth of my power old man so let me show you," he said with a smirk.

The burst of power along with the starry mana skin that covered his body made him more majestic, he didn't even open the book to read the context but his form was perfect like he had done it for over a long time. The old man was shocked as he felt many emotions just at once. 

He held his katana scabbard before unsheathing it slowly as he said, "First form: Tostuki!!!." The sword traveled at light speed along with a beast figure as it roared rushing toward the old man.

The ground shook and cracks started appearing as the place started crumbling from that attack. Dust was everywhere and Alex started laughing "This place almost got destroyed old man is it worth burning your spirit to fight me."

"HAHAAHHAHAHA just excite this dying soul will you please young lad," he shouted with his body being much more physical than illusory holding a sword.

"Am glad to," he answered as both figures disappeared, showing off their swordsmanship that was beautiful for the eyes but the power they held and speed was something that normal people would never know in their lifetime.

The place crumbled with each strike as he blocked the attack and said "Second form: Zurichi!!" The old man struck horizontally from the distance with a huge moon arc being formed leaving nothing but a wide gush on the ground and destroying the place. Alex used his sword intent which further shocked Lavune when realizing it. 

He covered his weapon with his sword intent and Arcane mana making it terrifying and powerful enough to match the strike coming from him as he slashed the air. A massive Moon arc formed, matching the power and speed of the strike.

The power of two peak B ranks is shown as the old man's body was covered in lightning increasing his speed and destructive power rushing toward him. 'If it continues like this. I don't think this space would last long.' Alex worried knowing that when this barrier for this space is broken it may affect Davain and Lillain.

Both stopped with Alex having cuts and wounds along with the old man. They breathed heavily with a smile, "Am sorry for misjudging you, young lad." Luvane said with a smile on his face.

"Am just glad to learn." He answered seeing his swordsmanship skill leveling up.

"Hahahahah." he laughed as lightning bolts fell from the sky, along with a lightning strike coming from the front. All of that happened in just a second, with Alex's focus reaching its peak.

Dodging the attacks from the sky he rushed forward. Luvane had already done the Second form once which was now infused with the lightning element as a huge moon arc over 20 meters wide closed in. Closing his eyes and opening them immediately, his sword intent rage on his sword with Arcane mana. Destroying the surroundings without him moving a single muscle, " Tostuki!!!" he shouted.

The roar of an ancient beast sounded around with a figure and image of the beast that had wings and dragon scales without legs but looked much like a snake. 

A sky dragon formed which were gods among dragons themselves.

He destroyed the strike and rushed toward the old man whose raging Lightning raged even more rushing toward Alex. "let's see who will win son."

'Son ….huh' Alex thought
