Chapter 20: Metal Rogue (1)

Ancient scrolls can range from E to S rank with those above which are legendary and mythical rank being found in tombs of ancient times. They can range from information about the past, A powerful technique, and Locations of treasures but the language is the problem. Having an unknown language forgotten by the passage of time is why they aren't useful to a lot of people.

Some could be included but others couldn't with the Text being from an unknown era, with his skill Alex could read it but couldn't understand it. Inside the carriage, Sasha had two people sitting on her lap and noticed Alex reading the scroll. With some curiosity, she asked, "Can you read it."

"Yes, but I don't know what it means," he answered.

'He can read it... Wow, that is a language even those of major powerhouses couldn't even comprehend.' She thought impressed and then inquired "What does it say."

"The lotus that shines brighter than the sun and moon awaits." He stopped a bit and continued, "Form where darkness can't touch with the demon eye below that's where My lotus still prevails."

"What does that mean." Alex didn't respond trying to remember a location like that.

He didn't create 100% of the world but the places he does remember had some major event somewhere somehow. Considering something he shrugged his shoulders and said

"We shouldn't enter the city."

"huh," Lisa exclaimed in front of the carriage.

Sasha responds, "It doesn't matter we are just getting some food and clothing."

'Good said then done. You are an assassin and am not.' Alex shouted inwardly and thought of something. He started designing a skill.

[Arcane energy: 15/15]

[{G} Strength] 10 Arcane energy to upgrade

Considering something he created another skill.

[Calculating]

'The higher the skill rank with low amount of energy the more limitations that will be put. Lowering the rank of the skill the less amount of energy is required and fewer limitations are put on the skill. Placing limitations of your own also work in lowering the energy cost like when I did on Strength.'

'Just to create it it was 50 Arcane energy at G- rank and by placing that limitation I can just create those skills at a lower cost.' He thought about analyzing the Skill creation function.

'When I reach the Metal Rogue I be able to get the blood neckless.' he thought.

"We are here," Lisa said in front of the carriage and Alex's black sword appeared along with a black Mask that formed on his face. Sasha noticed Alex's disappearing presence and stared in his direction.

In her view was a person with silver hair wearing a spirit mask his presence being non-existent holding his sword.

"We aren't here to pick a fight." She said.

"I know but I got something I need to do." he didn't explain further with Lisa just laughing.

"Then Why do you look like you're ready for one." She asked.

"Am always ready," he answered with a smirk his voice sounding a bit deeper.

"Just don't cause any trouble," Lisa said.
