Chapter 8: Help/acceptance

Walking out into the street I watched as people walked past. Feeling the vibration in my pants I pull out my phone. Only to have my heart hurt a little as I saw the name, clicking it to be on silent I put it back into my pocket.

'It's for the best until I can figure things out' I thought to myself, not seeing my number be called over and over by Himiko.

Freezing for a second I look over to my left as I see smoke in the distance. Looking at the people stopping and then seeing hero's run pass.

'I'm going to get caught in the middle of some bull shit ain't I. Well...let's go' I thought running after the hero's.

Making it to a Open Plaza I see the hero's around the monster on its left, talking as the giant slime or sludge monster. Seeing the monster try to reenact a hentai scene with a spiky blonde haired kid.

'Welp isn't that the bull shit I said would happen, guess I'm at this part of the story" I said as I watched the boy struggle, seeing hero's who's power wasn't suited to fight the monster talk about saving bakugou.

Watching as bakugou struggled and blast off fire like a idiot. Looking far in the back as the skinny almight was in the back of the crowd. Watching as Izuku Midoriya had a mental breakdown in the back.

Running at the monster trying to save bakugou, crying while trying his hardest to get is friend free.

"I couldn't just stand there and watch you die!" Izuku yelled.

'Good words deku' I thought to myself, as the muscles flexed steam coming out of the hoodie the ground crack as the glass in building next to me blew after I was long gone.

*Boommm!

"Power or no power thats what it means to be a hero" i said infront of izuku.

"Huh?..who?" Izuku said as he looked at my hoodie covered face only see a toothy smile.

"Now full counter" i said, reaching my arm in and pulling bakugou out. The muscles in my arms flexed as the bones on my hand were covered in diamond. Punching out as I hit it and the pressure blew outward. Slamming my fist down as the ground cracked and the empty buildings beside me fell, rocks came from the ground, blasting the monster in to pieces.

I sat there in the middle of the massive crater, mount lady and others protected the area. My hoodie sleeve couldnt handle it as my right hand was free and steam came off it as it was back to normal. I rotated my arm looking back at the two guys and jumped. Landing high above and walking away. Not seeing almight who was looking up to see where I went, before transforming and rushing to the kids.

"Does anyone want to tell me what just happened?" Mount lady said to the hero's infront of her.

"I don't know, one second the kid was going to get crushed someone stepped in and saved him before wrecking that monster" the hero death arms said.

"More importantly, are you guys ok?" Almight said, standing behind the guys as deku and bakugou.

"Almight?" bakugou said turning around to see the man.

"Almight!" Izuku said.

"Do not fear for I am here, I hope you guys are ok I was going to deal with it but it looks like someone already did so" almight said, smiling at the kids.

"What a pain" I said, on the side of a tall building sitting down. Looking at the fire being put out.

"Hey!" A deep voice said from behind me. Even if I already felt it.

"What's a hero like you doing here?" I said turning my head back to see a tall, built man with a weird blonde hair.

"That was you back there wasn't it" almight said, walking next to me.

"You wouldn't be here if you didn't know" I said holding up my destroyed sleeve.

"Why did you leave.." almight said, looking out to the city.

"There's no point..I'm not a hero and finding out a 15 year old kid saved the day" I said, pulling down my hoodie as my black hair blew.

"So young..you know you can get in trouble for something like this" almight said, looking at the side of my face.

"I know but I couldn't stand by and watch them struggle and die" I said, looking at the sun go down.

"I understand what is your name.." almight said, understand my reasoning.

I said nothing just looking at the sky, I guess he understood because he spoke to me again.

"Don't worry I'm not here to turn you in..just want to know what's your name?" Almight said, with a smile.

"Kageyasu Ōta.." I said not really caring.

"Young Kageyasu! Do you want to be a hero?" Almight said, getting excited.

"I really don't know, never thought I could" I said, thinking for a little while.

"First time I've heard a kid not know, usually they get there quirk and run to be a pro hero" almight said.

"I know, I just never gave it much thought, plus how would I" I said.

"Here...call this number after you think about it, thank you again young Ōta" almight said before jumping away with a laugh.
