Chapter 157 - The Medium

Just like in the original story, a war really broke out between the two great empires who had the same interest in invading Magnosthad. And right now, Lev together with his lovers were on the edge of the Garden Tower while looking at the far distance seeing how dark the sky had become down there.

"A war really broke out just like you told Master." Annie, who was beside Lev, said while looking at the horizon. Though she could not see it, the air of the world told her that it was the case.

"Mmm. Yamraiha, I know you want to come with me, but I want you to stay behind." Lev said thinking that the most anticipated moment that he was expecting would probably come soon seeing something like a dark spot in the distance.

"W-Why?" Yamraiha, who was already prepared to depart with him, asked with confusion upon knowing that he suddenly changed his mind as they already talked about this before that she even trained so hard for it.

"No one can protect Artemyra aside from you when we head out. Mira also needs someone to take care of her and I could only trust this job to you." Lev reasoned as he looked at Yamraiha while thinking about the people who would strike Artemyra when he was gone.

"But L-Lev--" Yamraiha wanted to say something but stopped as her mouth suddenly got blocked by Lev's lips which lasted about three minutes before they stopped as they looked at each other.

Seeing Yamraiha calming down, Lev didn't want just to end it like that so he pushed his tongue inside her mouth and started kissing her passionately with several gazes looking at them. Not long after that, he then broke the kiss as they stared at each other lovingly.

"We had to go now. Protect them for me." Lev said as he kissed her lips for the last time before he was devoured by his shadow together with Annie, thinking that she might level up during this event and Morgiana, who have gone quite stronger upon being due to Harem Cultivation, as they then disappeared afterward.

"B-Be careful." Yamraiha murmured before looking at the distance which shortly after that, they then head back to the house together with the worried Queen Mira and her lovely daughters.

On the other hand, Hakuei could also be found together with them seeing her looking at Lev with worry before calling out her Giant Bird and flying down the Garden Tower afterward as she still has work to do.

Hearing his words, the soldiers who were near them couldn't help but talk about him as they knew all that happened to Balbadd and some were already on guard as they thought that he was an enemy.

"Alibaba." The person next to Alibaba, who was none other than Aladdin, called out as he looked at the surroundings before looking at Alibaba.

"No need to worry, Aladdin." Alibaba replied with seriousness before he walked towards Prince Kouen.

Seeing Alibaba walking, the soldiers couldn't help but point their weapons at him whereas Kouen was there standing still while looking at him.

"I have come to this battlefield in order to he--" Before Alibaba could say something, a hand suddenly stopped him.

"Finally." Lev, who just arrived after sending Annie and Morgiana to Magnosthad via shadow exchange, said before he looked at the man in front.

"Lord Lev!" "Uncle Lev!" Alibaba and Aladdin were shocked to see Lev appear out of nowhere without any notice.

Seeing that a new person appeared, the soldiers got even more cautious, especially to the eye-catching four strong men in the army but Ren Kouen, however, was already frowning after hearing what Alibaba and Aladdin called the person who just arrived.

"Aladdin. Alibaba. It's so nice meeting you again." Lev greeted before he suddenly disappeared and appeared right in front of Ren Kouen and threw off a powerful punch.

Ren Kouen reacted on time as he blocked Lev's punch with his appearance already changed to that kind of a Djinn Equip but even with that, he was still blown out due to how powerful the force of the attack.

"Prince Kouen!!" Everyone freaked out and couldn't help but call seeing their young master get blown out by the new person.

"Iyahhh, as the name suggests, Prince Kouen really was great. Aside from Sinbad, you're the second person who took my punch so lightly." Lev said as he looked towards the location where Kouen Ren flew and crashed.

Ren Kouen asked while flying with his new appearance as his hair became longer and resembled that of a snake. He now had a heavy necklace around his neck and decorations on his forearms. He also had a dark tattoo on his stomach and a snake-like armor covered the surface of his body.

"Maybe." Lev replied as he summoned two Infinities on his hand before disappearing again and appearing right beside Prince Kouen.

The sound of their weapon colliding echoed throughout the field as it shocked the people below seeing Lev also flying in his Djinn Equip.

"As expected, you're also a dungeon capturer." Prince Kouen commented while looking at Lev's appearance.

"Dungeon Capturer? Hahaha. I'm worse than that." Lev amusingly replied with his appearance akin to that of a dragon seeing his body was covered by blue dragon scales with a tail on his back.

"Aladdin, Alibaba. Go back to Magnosthad. Leave this place to me. I follow you afterward when I'm done here." Lev followed as he flew backward to have some distance between him and Prince Kouen.

"Stop them. No one can leave this place alive." Prince Kouen ordered that the soldiers and his Household Vessels then look altogether towards Aladdin and Alibaba.

Lev just smiled as a fight really shouldn't happen in this place but somehow it changed after his intervention, but he couldn't do anything about it now since it was necessary.

"Alibaba." Aladdin called out seeing the thousands of soldiers were serious about not letting them escape seeing themselves being surrounded.

Right after that, a fight to escape then started but it was safe to say that Aladdin and Alibaba could easily leave the place as they were capable of flying.

On the other hand, Lev and Prince Kouen were staring at each other in the sky but looking closely, the former could be seen smiling towards the latter who was frowning.

"About your siblings, they were safe in my country. It's just they were locked up in the prison." Lev said with a smile seeing several Metal Vessels would become his soon after defeating him.

"Hmmm. So, you're here to steal mine this time." Prince Kouen already comes up with such an idea upon seeing Lev coming here. Though he was quite relieved upon hearing him, the feeling of excitement and nervousness still presided over his body.

"You are really a smart man so how about ceasing this meaningless fight and just giving them to me." Lev replied. Though he really wanted to fight him, he knew that there was something more important to do.

"Heh. Don't think I will give them to you without fighting. Just to tell you, I'm not the same with the others especially that Sinbad." Prince Kouen replied as he held his weapon and it then covered in flames.

"Listen, everyone! Leave this place immediately!!!!" Prince Kouen ordered in a shout before he dashed toward Lev and swung his sword as it created a crescent-shaped fire toward him.

Hearing Prince Kouen's order, all of the thousands of soldiers below immediately left the place with the help of his Household Vessels.

On the other hand, Lev just casually swung the other Infinity and counterattacked Prince Kouen's attack.

"Interesting." Lev murmured as he looked at Prince Kouen whose appearance had changed once again.

Right now, Prince Kouen who was looking at Lev resembles a lion with a childlike stature. He has a heavy necklace around his neck and his arms become scaly and turn into claws with the Djinn circle on the back of his hands while also having a tail on his back.

Prince Kouen didn't say any words as he motioned his hand before it glowed all of a sudden and the ground suddenly shook.

"Pierce the Earth, Agares." Prince Kouen's voice echoed in which the earth started to move up as if he was controlling it.

On the other hand, Lev looked at it with surprise seeing the technique that he would use later was now revealed in front of him while grinning as he also heard a notification just after he used it.

Right after the ground was pulled up, lava started flowing afterward. The next moment, Prince Kouen changed Djinn Equip again as he returned back to what he was like before and looked at Lev with a smile.

"Do you think you could beat me with that?" Lev asked while amusingly looking at Prince Kouen who was looking back at him with confidence.

"Let's see it then." Prince Kouen replied with excitement. Though he was confident with his strength right now, the threat of not fully knowing Lev's full power really posed a great problem for him.

"Heh. Then I'll play with you for a while." Lev said before changing Djinn Equip using Barbatos this time.

Prince Kouen looked at it with surprise seeing Lev also had another Metal Vessel but he was more shocked to see how he directly changed without changing back to his normal self as if it was being replaced normally.

And just like that, a fight broke out in the field in which the ground was overflowing with boiling lavas and at the same time, thousands of soldiers could be seen looking at them from afar.

The situation of Magnosthad right at the moment was very bad seeing the Black Djinns roaming, killing, and destroying everything in its surroundings but even with that several of them were also killed at the same time.

"That's the medium." Aladdin replied while holding his staff tightly thinking of who could help them from stopping it so the world would be saved. There were only two people that came to his mind but only left with one as Lev was fighting against Prince Kouen.
