What's going on with me?

My name is Yujin Yu. I attend Sphinx Academy, I've been getting bullied here for as long as I can remember, but I still attend this academy because it's the only thing I've ever known this is where the people I can call friends are. Since that's all I've ever had for years. Recently I've devolved these vampire like powers. I've been hiding my powers from my fellow... classmates but lately it's been getting out of hand.

"Listen, today students we will be doing physical examinations which will test your physical attributes such as; strength, speed and well yea you get it so grab your things and let's head outside." The teacher said.

All the students' began to rush over to their lockers, the guys were excited to show off there physical components to the girls while on the other hand the girls were excited to see how good the exam went for the boys.

As the students were heading outside, Yujin felt something trickling up his body, he felt hot, but he felt pained because he believes that this physical examination might reveal his powers. Some part of him wanted to show the other his powers, he wanted to show them he was better than them in every possible way. Another part of him wanted to keep them suppressed because he felt like he would feel lonely if he did use them.

"First we'll start speed test. In this test you will run as fast as you can from here which will be "Point A" all the way down there to "Point B' don't let this stop you though it's quite easy once you get running. Before we begin I must tell you the school record for the fastest completion of this test is 17.2 seconds. So good luck beating that."

The teacher began counting times.

"30.2 seconds" - John

"28.4 seconds" - Owen

"26.8 seconds" - Luke

"40.3 seconds" - Utah

And so on.

"This year of athletes are completely screwed." The teacher mumbled.

"Luke was pretty fast don't you guys think, he got the fastest time out of everyone else. I didn't know Luke could move like that. Some of the girls began to mumble to each other. Luke felt on top of the world as he heard the girls talking about his time, although he couldn't beat the record he still felt accomplished because the girls were praising him and only him.

"Well last one for this test, Yujin you're up." The teacher says in a disappointed tone.

Yujin got in place and once he heard the whistle being blown for him to go he took off and left anyone lucky enough to spectate in shock.

"Holy shit this kid just beat the school record that has stayed the same for 25 years. He just completed that in 3.2 seconds." The teacher said in an amazed voice. For the remaining tests no one dared to utter a word about "his" results.

"3.2 seconds on the speed test. Strength measured to a SSS Tier. Verticals being 51'2 - 65'4. 10 consecutive sparring matches won. This kid is a once in a life time human." Little did the teacher know that Yujin wasn't a human.

All the other boys were amazed by Yujin's attributes but Luke came second to him and he saw Yujin as a threat to everything that he had worked for and everything that he was earned.

The students begin heading to their class but Luke and Yujin stayed behind to have a "Friendly Chat" with each other. Luke insisted that Yujin stay behind and talk, Yujin felt "compelled" to listen since he has always seen Luke as a being far above him, almost that they were a completely different species.

But something felt different this time for Yujin he finally felt like he ha broken his shackles that were put on him by Luke. Yujin finally saw Luke as an equal and decided to stand up for himself since the few months that he's been here.

"Listen I passed my exams so i have the right to go to class I think both should go and forget about this." Yujin said in a tone that seemed like he was demanding Luke but calmly.

Luke reacted strange. Any other time that Yujin would say something or refuse Luke he would end up with a beating that would leave his entire body throbbing over to the next day. This time Luke just stared for a moment after Yujin stopped talking and Luke quietly walked away like he was commanded to do.

"Since when did he act like that, why didn't he beat me like he usually does?!" Yujin said surprised.
