the Number Five volume forty two

that's why everyone is scared of saying of his name, the ones who last spoke of him. are now rotting in their grave, so that's the power of the first and only Unranked adventurer. seeing it first hand it's remarkable how one man with no magic, gifted with Darkouls could do all this. I mean hell can I do what he did. no way I can I don't have the combat experience, nor do I have the mindset to do so. " Marcus now you understand the truth behind Daragain, and their only Unranked adventurer. does that answer your questions about Adamsin?", Jim must have read my name while looking at my resignation form. " it answers most of them, why go so far to make sure they keep the bloodline pure?!, what can you none pure blood do to system?!". Jim and the old lady sat down in front of me placing their hands on my knees," it's not just mixed breed children they are worried about. think about it less say their strongest Adventurer ever to live was to have children with the most intelligent women to ever exist. that child was not only be the smartest, but having the strength, agility, speed, reflexes of the strongest. it would cause mayhem throughout all the Kingdoms. they wouldn't make any." after her statement the rest of my questions about Adamsin were answered, " so what did they do with his body?". both of them looked at each other " we don't know, after his death everyone celebrated, so we didn't care about his body anymore.", so they just left his body for the animal to eat it. Jim got up from the floor, opened the door walking down the stairs. I exited the room, filled with heartache for Adamsin knowing that they don't have the full story. the main room in the guild was noisy, whispers could be heard. so they knew what was going on, they should just mind their own business. the air outside of the guild was fresh, leaves hitting my face some flicking my ears. " oh yeah my bad for not telling you this, that quest I showed you. that not ours is some piece of paper I've found on the floor.". what kind of joke is that, well at least it's not that being. I still don't know what kind of powers I've put into the weapons of Adamsin. all I know is that it can chock something out cold, or did it snap its neck. Jim reached inside of his armor pulling out the real quest that he had taken up for me. the paper had a different texture to it, after reading the quest. It seems that we have to collect some herbs, also some kind of fruit. how come a man of Jim's rank decided on taking this low income of a quest, does he thinks I can't handle anything that can lead to my death. to be far I haven't really got a grasp of the dangers of this world. with a man of his rank he must have slaughtered some of the highest rank monsters. " also Marcus sorry for not telling you this sooner, but I don't kill.", he must be lying to me. everyone talks about him, someone who has never killed anything. is the second highest ranked adventurer ever, what kind of warrior is he. he isn't a warrior at all, maybe I missed heard him say that he doesn't kill. " Jim, nice joke man. you got me again, just like you did back in the blacksmith shop", he wears a cape to cover his back side. I saw through the cape. it seems that there is some kind of symbol on the back of his armor. the cape was thrown to the ground with no hesitation from Jim, the symbol I caught a glimpse of. was shining off of the sun causing his armor to glisson, the symbol was red. it covered his whole chest section, most of his middle back as well. " my class is called a crusader, for all I know of I'm the last of my kind. also how did you sleep last night?, sorry I couldn't help you find a place to stay.", what the fuck is a crusader. " I'm used to it it's okay, I did find a place to stay. it's not the best but I had worse.", he smiled at me pointed at the building far off in the distance right next to the blacksmith. " we need breakfast, before we go on our quest.", so I guess we are going to get breakfast. I feel safe with Jim, don't know why I do though. I wonder if they are scared of him, the same way people were scared of me. back when I was living with Steve, talking behind my back. spitting in my food, making others due their dirty work. the store was empty, a happy family came from the kitchen. " welcome back Jim, thanks for the mushrooms you gathered for us", well I was wrong this is all Jim does for a living. going around picking up crops for people, so how come they promoted him the second best ever. while waiting for a food to be brought out for us, I told the waitress I'll take the same as Jim. " why did you want to become an adventurer?", Jim put his mug down. the mug was filled with water, " I didn't really have a choice, it's all thanks to Adamsin.". I took a deep breath, " sorry for your loss. I know he killed a lot of them". he quickly responded to me " he didn't kill anyone for me, he saved me from demons. when I was young my people were murdered, by demons. no one helped us, I guess due to our practices. he saved us. the problem was it was already too late, he saved me. before I became to Daragain, I lived in the house of the Crusader's".
