Prologue: The beginning of a Genius

Apartment at Beijing…..

A man standing near the window was reading a book about ancient times…..

"Does cultivation truly exist….." He wondered…. His phone then rang…

(12:30 pm research time….)

"I guess i have to go now…" He then placed the book on the table and grabbed his phone and went outside his apartment and locked it….

Since ancient times in china cultivation about taoism is always talked about saying they defy heaven and becomd immortals… Im always interested in History like this….

I continued walking on the sidewalk watching the cars drive by at the side as i walked to the bus station…..

Truly interesting I wonder…. Are there truly immortals out there?

I then took a ride on a bus and i told the driver my destination…..

If i was born in a cultivation world i would be so happy as i will be able to fulfill my dream of fighting and not being too useless…..

"Hey kid! We are at your destination!" The driver shouted to me…

I then stood up and got off the bus and also thanked the driver....

As i walked up mount tai, i heard a femine voice behind me calling out to me….

"Brother Kai!" As i looked behind me, i saw an old classmate from Highschool

She then ran at me and hugged me… i didnt know how to respond to this cause I remembered she was really cold back then in highschool

"Ah…. Qingyue this is a bit inappropriate and people are watching us right now…." I whispered to her as she hugged me tightly

Her face then turned red a bit and stopped hugging me as she tried to compose herself

"So long time no see Brother Kai" she said as she smiled at me

I was dazed because of the smile cause this is the first time she smiled at me even when we were friends back then at highschool…

I then shook my thoughts and replied "Long time no see Qingyue" 

I then saw her pout a bit then it disappeared as she gave me a cold glare….

Ehh did i do something wrong why is she glaring at me!?!

She then said "Call me Yue'er Brother Kai! You use to call me like this back then" i then remembered i did call her like this back then to calm her down

The reason for calming her down is because she is really mad at her pursuers who want to date her because she was a school flower back then and she was the daughter of the richest man in china… i called her Yue'er to calm her down as this always worked well not always…. Cause one time i got punched in the face by her… yeah…

I then asked "So why are you here exactly?" She then looked at mr and said "Im here because of a project that my whole class is doing"

I see so they might be researching about ancient times right now 

"So why are you doing here Brother Kai?" She asked curiously

I then replied "Im here to research something i found that no one found yet"

She then looked at me and asked "What did you fou-" Before she could finish her words she got pulled by a handsome guy 

Eh…. Is he her boyfriend? Oh no… this will look like im trying to steal his girlfriend now…. And I'm not a man that will do that, cause i only like simple things fighting, reading, researching, and finally being kind to everyone….

The man then hugged her and He said "Yue'er who is this guy?" As he looked at me with unkind eyes… i kinda understand why….

She then replied quickly "Oh Brother Kai is an Old classmate back then in Highschool"

I then saw alot of people behind the guy staring at me like im a bastard…. Seriously what did i do wrong!?! 

I then said "well im gonna leave now qingyue, i guess see you later" i then left as i continued walking up moun tai

I then heard a scream behind saying 'Wait Brother Kai!' even tho i heard i just continued i dont wanna get in a mess like that…

I then reached the top of moun tai… it took 10 minutes to climb the whole mountain… im really tired but no i wanna see what that button is about that i found hiding on the rock….

As i walked to the rock that had the button i heard someone calling out for me…

I looked back and i saw my bestfriend that helped me alot when in elementary to college…

"Hey Kai! Your finally here ive been waiting!" As he ran to me to give me a hug

I then returned the hug and replied "im sorry I was late Xiao got delayed by an unexpected meeting with an old classmate" we then stopped hugging as i pressed the button on the rock

I heard someone calling out to me again… and it was Yue'er again with her classmates i guess

"Brother Kai why did you just left all a sudden!" She then ran to me angrily

It was already too late as i pressed the button that has been bugging me about

The floor beneath us suddenly broke!

"Woah!" I then grabbed Xiao and Yue'er as we fell along with her classmates…..

I opened my eyes only to see smoke around… as the smoke clears i saw a Jade dragon statue at the side

"Everyone alright?" I asked out loud to everyone 

Xiao then said "Never expected by pushing the button would break the floor just like that" He then swiped the dust off his clothes 

I then heard a flustered voice "Brother kai… can you let me go now…" i then looked at my left hand and saw Yue'er blushing red as i was holding her close to me

I then let go of her and said "Im so sorry" as i looked around the place i saw a ring on the floor…. I then grabbed it along with a notebook that looks tattered

As i was about to open the book… a dragon roar suddenly sounded and it was really loud….

"What the!?!" All of us looked at the dragon jade statue and saw a guy with glasses near it who touched it

"Im sorry i never knew that would happen!" He shouted and apologize

A big crack then appeared on top of the statue… as the crack got bigger i felt danger near it

I then shouted "Guys get away from that crack!" As i shouted the crack already broke and a rift like portal appeared and tried to suck all of us in!

I then shouted "Hold on to something strong everyone!" I then grabbed a stone pillar but because of the strong gravity that the portal is pulling us to we lost all our grip and got sucked in it…..

As i was about to get sucked inside the portal i heard a voice saying….

You have karma with me… I hope when you read the book i left you will understand what kind of situation you are in now…. 

What the!?!... Before i could say anything i already got sucked in the portal….

As i got sucked in i suddenly saw visions about a Phoenix transforming into a human and falling inlove with a human boy…..

As i saw the visions i felt close comfort but soon light came flashing my eyes….

Ugh.. what the? Where is this…. place?

I then looked around the place as i saw Xiao stuck on a tree vine that looked too big to be called a tree…

"Woah…. hey Kai help me get down!" I then noticed everyone who got sucked in the rift was either dangling on a tree vine or just broke their fall on the grass….

I then ran to Xiao and tried to get him off the tree… "Stop moving Xiao your making it harder to get you off the vines"

He then replied "Sorry alright cause i feel like vomiting thats why i tried to get off faster"

I then was able to break the vine using the sharp rock i got from the floor

Xiao then fell and hit the floor "Finally! I feel like dying when i was dangling on the vine" He then stood up

"Where did you take us!?!" The handsome guy from earlier that called yue'er grabbed my shirt and shouted at me

I then rose my arms and replied "I dont know where this is alright even im confuse"

He then got even more mad as he threw a punch at my right cheek…

Blood then came out of my mouth as the blood flew to the floor and splattered at the ground, some of my blood got on the tattered notebook that i found underneath mount tai….

The book then shined like gold for a moment then disappeared…

Xiao then suddenly grabbed the handsome guy and Punched his face really hard as he yelled at him shouting

"Oy you bastard didn't Kai already said he didn't know why did you have to be violent!?!" As Xiao glares coldy at the guy on the floor who is spitting out blood from his mouth

Qingyue then shouted at them "Stop fighting please!" She looked mad really mad…

Xiao then just looks at her then went to me and said "You alright Kai?" He then looked at my bleeding lip

I replied "Yes im alright" i then wiped the blood on my mouth and grabbed the tattered notebook on the floor

Xiao then looked at my face and said "Look at her she literally cares for that guy more than you… what a so called friend she is who is hurting your feelings" He made an angry face and pointed at Yue'er who is taking care of the handsome guy

I then said "I dont really care if im gonna be honest and my feelings for her back in highschool already died a long time ago" I then pointed at the notebook and Xiao looked at it

He said "When did you find this?" He asked me about where i got the notebook

I replied "I got it when we fell off the top of mount tai let me try and read what's in it" I then opened the book and i was really shock when i saw the writing

This is Modern Chinese! Who wrote this?

I then read what was written on the notebook

Diary of Supreme Heavenly Emperor

Who the hell would name themselves like this it feels too much if im gonna be honest…..

Xiao then said "That's really too much who the hell would name themselves supreme heavenly emperor?" He looked like he was questioning the person who wrote on the notebook

Before i could turn the page We heard explosions coming from behind us… All pf us then looked there and saw a Woman woth a sword floating in the air fighting a monster with wings that looks like a lion?

Xiao then asked "Am i the only one seeing a woman flying ln the air or am i just on drugs…." He had a shock expression 

I replied "Your not the only one seeing this" i had a shock look at my expression

We then saw the woman kill the monster with a burst light of energy that came from her sword

"Woah…." Is she a cultivator i thought, if she is can i also cultivate….

The woman than looked at my eyes… we then stared at each other for a moment before she suddenly appeared infront of me !

"Ah!" I then backed away immediately, the woman than looked at me and the others with a stern look and said

"Why are you mortal's doing in the Forest of Death this place is too dangerous for you if you're not a cultivator" When i heard her say cultivator im now confident to say that cultivation was real….

I then looked around to see what their reactions were and all of them showed a shocked expression as to what they heard except for Xiao tho… He had an excited expression as he found his life goal…

Author's Note:

So this is my first time writing s cultivation novel but i already thought of the plot i just dont know about writing the fight scenes 

So yeah it might take some time writing this but hope you will enjoy once the next chapter appears…
