"Sir, Heidi has been captured and put behind bars. What do we do?" A voice spoke trying to stay in a strong tone.
"DAMN IT!!! I knew I shouldn't have trusted a fucking girl to do a man's job!!" The scratchy deeper voice barked as he couldn't hide his anger.
"What do we do sir, are we going to get her out?" The other spoke with a hint of desperation.
"Fuck that bitch! We are moving on with the plan."
"But sir you can't just leave her th-"
"What was that?!" The one known as the Manipulator snapped while cutting off the concerned voice.
The other let a small sigh escape his lips. "What's the plan sir?"
"Well, no more girls that for certain. We need someone tough on the team. We need someone who we can trust to get the job done. We need.....Stain."

Throughout the day Token was getting to know the new group he's never met before. He opened up fairly well with them as they seemed like an interesting bunch. The main one he wanted to speak to the most and get to know better was the ink girl who saved him. As Token was speaking with Shay, he kept glancing at Jess as she was speaking with Spencer.
"Have you spoken to her yet?" Shay asked.
"No, I haven't gotten the chance. I feel like nothing I could say or do would be good enough to make it up to her for saving my life.
"Well, if you saw the way she fights you can tell she's not really human. She's actually my creation."
Token's eyes sparked to Shay. "W-Wait, you actually created her. But how?"
Shay removed his book from his satchel. "Well I can't show you the drawing of her but I can give an example on what I can do." Shay began drawing a simple wrench. Signing it he saw the wench forming in front of him becoming wrapped in gauze. Token watched absolutely amazed. Shay put his book away while grabbing the wrapped filled wrench. Unwrapping the tool he handed it to Token. Token held on to it as he admired the black wrench.
"This is incredible." Token said while staring at the simple wrench.
"Ohh uhh I don't know about incredible." Shay said while his cheeks grew hot to the flattery.
"Are you kidding me, you don't give yourselves enough credit and your telling me you created her?" Token asked while pointing at Jess.
Shay nodded as he looked at Jess. It warmed his heart seeing her smiling so much. 'Seems she is making other friends.' He thought to himself while looking at Spencer. 'He looks pretty happy himself. It does make sense the two none humans getting along the most.'
"Did you give her a name?" Token asked while trying to remember if it was said before.
Shay looked over at him. "Oh course, her name is Jess. She was actually my first creation."
"How come you don't have her drawing with you?" Token asked while still looking at Jess.
"Well, for every hero there is a weakness. For Jess, the only way of killing her is if that page gets destroying in any way, so I hid it. I also never tell a soul where it is, in case something happens. That information can not get out there, I refuse. I would die before giving that information to a villain." Shay said while looking back at Jess.
"Understandable, I respect that. Your a really great guy for being that way."
"I still can't believe she's being this way. She was only this way with Muriel and ever since Bebe helped me, she has been so sweet to everyone."
"What do you mean?"
"This wasn't how Jess used to be. She used to be really mean to everyone but Muriel."
"How come?"
"She was incredibly protective over Muriel. Muriel was the one who gave my work of art a personality and emotion. Bebe went all out and gave her that amulet around her neck. It gives her the personality and emotions Muriel did but Bebe added so much more than what Muriel could. She made Jess into the closest resemblance of a human. That's all I ever wanted for Jess. I barely had any alone time with her since. I was thinking of spending some time with her this evening actually."
"Her and Spencer seem really close. Do you know why?" Token asked.
"No, I assumed she just made a new friend. I'm actually really happy she opened up with someone new."
"Yeah, I'm actually surprised to see Spencer this way with another girl."
"What do you mean?"
"You don't know this but he doesn't really interact with woman. He's extremely shy around them. Without one approach him first, he won't even think about talking to one. It also takes awhile for him to warm up to a girl. They must have known each other for awhile huh?"
"Actually just this morning."
Token's head spun toward Shay as he looked at him in disbelief. "No way. Your being serious?"
"Yeah, they didn't talk last night, that's when Jess got her new personality. I guess he woke up first and she kinda forced him to open up. She's still a bit pushy as she doesn't having a full comprehension of reason."
"That makes sense but it's still crazy he's acting this way with someone so fast."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"No, not with her. She's great, she did save us both so that might have a big part of it. I think he's mostly wanting to make it up to her like myself. There's no doubt about it, Spencer would have been going through the hell and torture I went through if it wasn't for her. There would have been no way of knowing his location as I myself didn't know. That's why there was no use to search for me. The Manipulator is always one step ahead at all times. No matter what we did he would always win. That's how I got captured to begin with."
"Can I ask. What happened exactly?" Shay asked becoming slightly worried he shouldn't ask such thing.
Token sighed as he thought back about 6 months ago. "It all started when me and Clyde went out while enjoying ourselves at a bowling alley."
~~~~~~~~~~~
"It's okay dude.. Let's enjoy ourselves tonight. Don't think about her." Token said while placing his hand on his best friend's back. Clyde was sitting with his head resting on his folded arms hiding his shame from Token. "There's plenty other girls out there. You should stop fixating on her." Token added in a reassuring manner.
"I love her.." Clyde muffled through his arms.
"I know dude. You and me both. I was in love once too but things happen. Come on, I'll buy you a drink, you know they don't card us here?" Looking over Token saw Clyde nod as he was still hiding his face.
"Hey sir, can I have a pitcher of Bud Light and two glasses, please?"
"Sure." The bartender said handing the boys two glasses while filling up a pitcher. Token grabbed his glass while taking a sip. Seeing his friend this way really broke his heart. "Hey Clyde, do I have buy you food too for you to look at me?"
With a loud sigh Clyde pulled himself up while wiping his face.
"Come on dude, it's just me and you." Token said hoping he would give in.
Clyde looked over at his drink. He grabbed it while taking a big swig.
"Come on, let me get us a pizza." Token said while wrapping his arm around Clyde. Clyde couldn't hold back a small smile as he nodded.
"Okay, let me go to the cafe and order us one." Token offered.
"Wait can I go? I need to get up anyway and stretch out my legs." Clyde asked while getting up at out his seat.
"Sure. I'll be right here." Token said while watching his friend walk to the cafe. 'I wish he would find someone better. Someone who wasn't such a-'
"Token, is that you?" Token heard a soft voice ask from behind. Turning around he felt his heart flutter. "Nicole?"
She smiled as she walked over to Token. "How have you been?" She asked.
"I've been good how about yourself?" He asked while feeling his cheeks slightly burn.
"I'm okay. It's been really rough ever since we graduated high school."
"Yeah.. It really has." He spoke with a somber tone as he thought back.
"I missed you."
His eyes widened as his head whipped to her.
"R-Really?"
"Yeah." She said shyly as she looked away.
Token felt as if his heart was beating out of his chest. "W-why are you here I thought you went to a different town to go to college."
"I did but... It didn't work out. I moved back to my parents house and I just... Don't know what I'm doing with my life anymore."
Token felt slightly confused as she would never stop talking about going to North Park Academy. "Nicole, you would go on and on about how that's what you wanted. What made you change you mind?"
She looked up at him as her cheeks grew slightly pink. "You."
Token's heart sank as he wasn't expecting that to come from her. Suddenly she grabbed his hand as she got slightly closer. "Token I.... I never stopped loving you." She managed to say with tears coming out.
His mouth gaped as he didn't know how to react. He spent months trying to get over her but now she was coming back to him and saying all these things. He didn't know what he really wanted. "What are you say, you want to get back together?" He asked.
She got closer to him as she squeezed his hand. "Is that okay?" She asked with sudden confidence.
Token didn't move as he thought to himself. 'She's never acted this straightforward...what's going on?' Before she got too close to his lips he placed his hands on her arms as he pushed her back slightly. "Nicole, I.... I Don't know how I feel.. You told me long distance wouldn't work out. You honestly tore my heart out. Now you come here and... Say you want to get back together..." He was stopped by Nicole suddenly crying while hiding her face.
"I'm so sorry Token, I... I came back because I realized no college could make me as happy as you made me." She said through her tears.
Tokens heart throbbed as he was in near tears from her words and her crying.
"Nicole I.." Token was cut off my sudden powerful lips colliding to his. His eyes shot open as his heart began to flutter. Without him expecting, she grazed her tongue across his lips as if asking permission. His cheeks grew hot as she was never this forward before. Accepting her request he opened his mouth slightly as he felt her tongue exploring his whole mouth. Token felt this whole situation was off, even her kiss, it wasn't as blissful as he once enjoyed. It was as if..this wasn't really her. Before Token could stop the kiss he felt something else in his mouth. He began choking as something went down his throat. He pushed away from her as he began coughing up while seeing small black worms squirming on the ground. Looking up at Nicole he saw her hover over him. "It'll be be over soon, my love." He felt his body growing tired as he collapsed face down to the ground while still looking up at her. His breath hitched when he saw something come out of Nicole. A gasp fell from his lips as he saw Nicole's body collapse to the ground but a ghost appear next to him. Token could make of the ghost as it was Heidi. While gritting his teeth Token managed to say one last thing. "Heidi, why are you doing this?"
She remained quiet as she placed her hand on his forehead. Token's vision went darker as he became her new host.
~~~~~~~~~~
"I still think back to that day. I remember when she left my body for the first time and I was held up in shackles and chains. I could hear her getting scolded by someone. He was pissed she didn't bring Nicole to him as he was going to use her as a way to break me even more than he already did. He spent months destroying me. Mentally, physically, emotionally. If she brought Nicole there I know he would have tortured her to get in my head, just like he wanted. Nicole and Heidi used to be such close friends. I'm believing Heidi did that on purpose as she didn't want Nicole to die. I know the Manipulator has gotten in her head.. I know that for a fact. She told me sorry every time she saw me but... She knew only one could survive. She's desperate to live on even if it means to sacrifice someone else. She will be in jail for awhile.. It'll give her time to think about what she done. Maybe it will open her eyes to something new SHE wants."
"Do you think the Manipulator will go after her?"
"Honestly with the way he's talking, she's useless in his eyes. He's not quiet about it as that's all I would hear."
"Do you know where your friend Nicole is?" Shay asked.
Token sighed. "No... I don't know if I will ever see her again to tell you the truth."
"Why don't you look for her?"
Token let out a short chuckle. "Yeah like that could ever happen. There's no way she is still living with her parents.
"Well why don't you check? I wouldn't give up on looking for her if I were you."
Token looked over at Shay with sudden hope. "Do you think you could help me?"
"Yeah.. She obviously means a lot to you. I can help."
Token smiled as he couldn't help but hug Shay.
Shay was caught off by the sudden embrace.
"Thank you, I needed a little more hope." Token said.
Shay smiled as he returned the hug. 'I think I just made a new friend.'
