Keep It Safe

Shay's breath was shaky as he approached the three girls. When he got closer, the three stopped talking as Wendy and Nicole suddenly began giggling as they glanced over at Bebe who was looking at Shay. "Oh h-hey Shay." Bebe said shyly while causing the girls to giggle more.

"Hey Bebe, can we talk?" Shay asked as he was thankful it was dark as she couldn't tell how much he was shaking from nervousness.

"Ohh uhh sure." She said while hiding her blushing face in the darkness.

As the two walked off they heard, "Don't be gone for too long you two." Shay placed his hands over his face as it was on fire due to the comment Craig HAD to blurt out.

Shay guided Bebe to the front yard. Looking up at the sky he came up with a plan that would be perfect. "So what did you want to talk about?" Bebe asked in her sweet voice.

Shay walked over to her car. "Do you think we can lay on the top?" He asked while pointing at her car.

She smiled as she nodded. He slowly sat on the hood feeling it slightly sink in. He saw her try but was struggling slightly. He held his hand out while offering to help. She smiled as she grabbed his hand. He pulled her up as they both situated to get more comfortable. The both were laying on the top of her car as they knew they didn't weigh enough for it to damage anything. The two were looking up at the speckled stars in the midnight sky. Shay felt his heart beating out of his chest as he had a good setting but now was moment he had to find the right words. He was cut off by her voice that was smooth as honey in his opinion. "Their so beautiful." He looked over as he saw her admiring the stars. He smile as he felt his heart flutter seeing her smiling so big.

"So are you." His eyes shot opened as he didn't mean for the words to come out as he only was thinking it. She looked over at him while blushing like crazy. Shay could see the blush as the moonlight was beaming down on the two. "I..I'm sorry, I was only thinking that. I mean I wasn't thinking that I just.." Shay was twisting around his words as he realized was digging his grave deeper. He was stopped by a finger placed against his lips. His eyes widen as he grew nervous thinking she would humiliate him. "Don't be sorry Shay. I'm flattered. Thank you for the kind words." Shay was shocked she was so understanding. Realizing she didn't seem upset with how he felt, he knew NOW was the time to offer her something he knew he could trust that she would keep safe. He held his hand up to his neck as he dug his hand in his shirt. "Bebe, I want to thank you for everything you have done for us. I really mean it. You gave me a life I never could imagine. One where my creation actually loves me. Your power is absolutely amazing, for you to give her the ability to be the closest to a human I just... I'm sorry I'm rambling." Shay said feeling embarrassed.

"No you don't have to apologize Shay. I know how much she means to you."

"She's like a daughter in my eyes. I mean.. I made her. I.. watched her grow up into what she is now. I got to see her try a few new things tonight and it really warmed my heart. She's so happy. I'm so happy for her. I have you to thank Bebe.. Because you gave her the life I couldn't, I want to give you something I know I can trust you with but.. you don't have to accept it. If you do however it means we are pretty much partners.." Shay said while removing his hidden cross necklace. Bebe looked over at Shay as she was utterly shocked he would trust her with something so meaningful in his life.

"Shay.." Bebe said while looking down at the cross.

"Bebe, I.. I don't know why but I just.. think you would be better with this than me. Since you gave her the ability for her to control by herself. I don't need to give commands anymore. This necklace has run down my family for generations. I want you to hold on to it for me. I know you will keep it much more safe."

"Shay, why would you offer me something so sentimental to you?" Bebe asked while looking up at Shay's eyes.

"You mean more to me." He said with sudden confidence.

Her eyes widen in surprise as she looked at his hand seeing the necklace laying in his palm. She lifted her hand as she softly touched the necklace while holding it herself. She held the cross while brushing her thumb across it. Shay watched her as his body wanted to take over for a split second.

"Shay, are you sure you trust me with this?" She asked while looking up at the brunette. Shay nodded as he couldn't seem to look away from her eyes. She got sucked into his as the two looked heavily into each others eyes. Shay felt as he couldn't find the right words. With all the remaining confidence, he leaned toward her very slowly being sure to see her reaction. His heart melted when he noticed she was leaning herself. He looked down as he saw their lips collide with each other. He felt fireworks go off in his stomach as he pulled away while looking up in her beautiful golden eyes. They both smiled as their faces were both very red. "So, you giving me this was you saying you want me to be your girlfriend?" Bebe asked.

Shay nodded while not breaking eye contact with the sourcer. "Can you help me put it on?" She asked while looking down at the necklace still in her hand.

Shay smiled as he repositioned himself. He took the necklace as she grabbed her hair while exposing her neck. He wrapped the necklace around her as he linked the two sides together. Bebe looked down at her neck seeing her new jewel she now possessed. Her smile grew as she looked up at Shay. Shay's smile widened as he went in for another kiss. Suddenly his eyes shot open when he heard several yelling coming from the back yard. The two looked at each other knowing something had gone wrong. The two quickly jumped off the car while grabbing their books ready to defend themselves for what was to come.
