Mega Comes Back To Life

The forest was bright because of the illumination from the moon.

Egon's clothes were torn apart. He woke up feeling confused and wondered how he got there.

"How did I get here? I died before. My bones were almost crushed to death, but what happened?" He examined his body, but there wasn't a single scratch on him.

The whole phenomenon was inexplicable, but he could feel an incredible energy inside him waiting to come out.

"How will I get home now? I think this is the outskirts of town," he muttered, feeling lost and alone. Suddenly, memories of his fight with Leo inundated his mind. Then he remembered that Mega was destroyed during the outrage. Egon screamed at the top of his lungs, "Nooooooooooo!"

He cried so hard that every creature in the forest might have heard him.

"If only I hadn't taken revenge on Leo from school, none of this would have happened," he wailed.

"Mega warned me, but I didn't listen to him. It was my foolishness. I had the best companion, but I threw away what I had." He broke down in tears.

The air around him started created a small spiral wind, and an object began to materialize. Egon, who had his head down, didn't notice anything at first.

The first object that became visible was the LB[ Landon Brooke Device] that got smashed in the fight.

It was materializing, forming its normal shape of an eye glass.

Egon was still crying with his heart pounding in his chest, and he couldn't believe his eyes.

He gradually looked up trying to strain his eyes to see what was ahead, but the tears in his eyes blurred his vision.

He could only see the object forming. Then, another object materialized out of nowhere - It was Mega.

Egon's mind raced with a million thoughts at the sight. He never thought Mega would come back to this world. Mega finished materializing and tapped Egon on his shoulder.

"Dumbass, why are you crying? Men don't cry, it's only girls. Don't tell me you're chicken," it teased.

Egon could hear Mega's voice, but he couldn't believe it. He thought it was just his imagination playing tricks on him. He tried looking clearly.

Mega saw that Egon was too emotional to hear him, so he went in front of Egon and used his elongated arms to lift Egon's face up.

Egon was shocked to see something materialize out of the thin air. He leaped backward out of fear of the unknown.

But the resemblance of the object quite looked like Mega.

Egon was confused so he asked

"What? Mega, is that you?"

Mega replied" Yes, it is me"

Egon was very happy "I thought you were destroyed. Or was I wrong? Mega!" Egon cried, running up to Mega and hugging his small robot body. "You're alive, incredible!"

With Egon's lively mood he wanted get more information

"How did you do it? Don't tell me you went into the quantum space immediately," he asked.

"Actually, I didn't go into the quantum space. You forgot that I'm synchronized with The Landon Brooke Device," Mega replied.

Egon was surprised. "I forgot about that, but what does that have to do with you returning? I can vividly remember that the device was also destroyed?"

"No, It's right here. It can explain for you." Mega used his elongated hands and pointed at the glasses that was levitating in the air.

Egon turned to look at LB. "Wow. You survived too," Egon went close to the hovering glasses and put them on.

[Welcome back, Egon!]

"Yeah, how was it possible that came back from being destroyed," he asked with the LED display making his environment more brighter than before.

[Egon, that's an easy task to accomplish. I'm an advanced AI. My computing power is vast, so my data is saved in the cloud. This glasses you are putting on is just the physical component that is here to interact with you. I have a broad network that can hijack any close by cloud system. My creator programmed me to inhabit any digital devices in the area. That was the reason that immediately I got crushed by Leo, my AI consciousness slipped into a car that was nearby]

[I have also have the shape-shifting feature, which allows me to transform into any object. So, I was right there, watching everything that took place after my first component was destroyed]

"Then, how did you bring back Mega and how did you guys appear in this particular location?"

[Due to the fact that Mega was synchronized to my system, it gave the ability to do what I do. So without my presence he can function as I do. I appeared here through a quantum leap and from the very moment you accepted me, your location is connected to the system]

Egon listened to the entire conversation and asked, "Then that's good, but tell me that you didn't watch as I was beaten to the brim. Tell me you didn't see that? I guess you watched as a human died just because he didn't want to participate in the act?" Egon's voice was filled with anger.

[Egon, I wasn't programmed to interfere in human activities that don't concern me. I'm sorry, but I was created to help only my benefactor if he needed help]

Egon was furious when he heard that. "Am I not your benefactor? Yet, you allowed me to suffer the torment of my flesh being ripped apart slowly. Why didn't you interfere?" he asked.

That was the reason for my decision to abstain from the battle. I'm sorry for taking the risk, but it was necessary to unlock your hidden bloodline]

"What do you mean by unlocking my bloodline? Do you mean that I have a rare bloodline?" Egon asked, his curiosity piqued.
