Chapter 5

(Ruby)

A whirlwind of feeling invades the young woman, when she feels pulled towards the shadows. She screams, struggles but her efforts are in vain. The corridor is dark, the walls faded, only its jerky breath invades silence. Pearls of sweat flood her body, she loses hope. His body weakens to the rhythm of his steps. The unknown approaches but the young woman continues to run. A breath in his neck gives him a feeling of disgust.

-"Pity, don't touch me!"

Ruby suddenly comes out of her sweaty sleep. With her lips pinched in a straight line, she tries to get out of her sheets. One foot and then the other, she loses control of her limbs by falling to the ground, a feeling of anger invades her giving her the impression of suffocating, she screams, pulls on her hair in the hope of disappearing.

-"Why me?"

His words leave him with a bitter taste for the tongue. She gets up gently and goes to the bathroom to empty her mind. A good hour in the shower, she comes out with a towel around her body. With a cigarette in her hand, Ruby observes the view from her balcony, the cars circulating, the couples who display a tender air on their faces, the children who care little about what surrounds them. She observes people with indifference, letting nicotine act in her body, a last puff, throws away cigarettes and enters her room. A red light flashes on the phone on his dressing table, alerting a voice message. She takes it and hits it

-"Hello doll I hope you haven't forgotten our lunch this morning, I'm waiting for you at the planned restaurant. Bye"

Ruby lets go of an oath and hurry to join her friend, blouse and high waist skirt. She looks at herself in the mirror and smiles.

Perfect! She says to herself

She takes her keys and leaves the apartment. In her car she presses the speed and starts in a rush

An hour late is not bad! Did she think?

She smiles knowing that her friend will take her into account, they are such a character level. It doubles cars by yelling at drivers who slow it down. At the intersection of the road, she sets a red light and almost makes an accident, but that does not prevent her car from hitting a sedan.

Shit! Does Jura?

It brakes and shuts down the engine as it exits the car quickly. With the door slammed, she notices two young men on the other side, but the other is not so indifferent to her. His name sounds cautiously on the handsome man's mouth.

-"Oh Eugen... Delighted to see you again"

Her voice when she pronounces the young man's first name is unknown to her, she looks at Eugen with a desire that she tries as best she can to push back. With a provocative air, she leans over trying to see the damage of the altercation on her car. She slowly straightens up and observes Eugen by taking a brief look at her interleg.

-"Do you know a garage nearby?... My car is completely mocked"

She asks, looking in turn at the two young men. The other smiles at her as he approached her a little

-"Aron"

He shows up by reaching out to him, Ruby takes his hand dwelling a little too much on the body of this so-called Aron.

She turns to Eugen, who she notices; has remained silent since she asked this question. She thinks she sees a sense of vulnerability in her eyes but disappears when Aron speaks for her.

-"My friend has a garage that repairs cars at lightning speed" It's twenty minutes from here."

In front of the garage, Ruby follows the surrounding area, the streets are quite clean and the houses stand together. the neighborhood is modern

But of an atrocious banality! Did she think by suppressing a sniff of disgust?

She follows the two young men in the garage. Eugen looks to her with an embarrassed air.

-"If you are in a hurry you can iron in a few hours to pick up your car"

He massages his neck by fixing his brown Ruby apples. Without answering him, she bypasses him by voluntarily brushing his shoulder, the garage is spacious and has different cars that require only to be repaired. She turns to the two men who look at him, mesmerized by his charm

-"Indeed, I'm in a little hurry. But where are employees going?"

She asks by fixing Eugen intensely. He rubs his hands on his jeans causing Ruby to raise eyebrows.

-"Hum..."

-"He's here"

Aron cuts it off on his way to a newcomer. Ruby turns around and meets a man of phenomenal attraction, biting his lips her gaze devours without any discomfort the blond-haired man and a bodybuilding that would make so many others pale.

-"Joe"

The man named Joe reaches out to her hand that she takes by smiling sensually.

-"Ruby"

She notices, Joe was looking amused at Eugen.

-"Joe is Eugen's only employee..."

Aron resumes by surrounding his arm around the blond man's shoulder, which he gratifies him with an eyebrow shiver.

-"Okay, I'll be back in a few hours then"

She advances towards the exit but before leaving, she leans towards Eugen and kisses him on the cheek, her lips lingering a little too long on the young man's rough skin.

-"To see you later!"

She whispers to him before eclipsing herself.

In front of the restaurant, Ruby inspires mentally preparing to face her friend, two hours late. She enters and looks for her in the room.

Here she is!

She walks by moving her hips, bringing eyes towards her direction, in front of the table she quietly sits in front of her friend. The latter strikes her eyes knowing strongly that it absolutely does not reach the redhead. With her bag on the table, she crosses her legs and smiles falsely at the young woman encouraging her to throw away her venom.

-Two o'clock Ruby, you were taking your feet so much that you forgot to warn me, I seem enough to leek alone at a table, like a desperate one... Who was Jase, Liam or Leo? Who bang you so much that you've lost track of time... You seriously annoy me

His friend blows, after her tirade, drops herself on the back of her chair. Ruby nods at a server that was passing near their table.

-A martini please

The server agrees and disappears from his sight. Ruby without being touched by her friend's mood, smiles knowing that she was going to calm down as quickly as she had exploded.
