Chapter-21:

After scouring through my phone, Jin locked me inside the room. I was silent the entire time, the tears burning behind my eyes.

Jin seemed so detached like he was dealing with a stranger. The moment the door closed, my legs gave out and my knees hit the ground, the tears falling freely. I watched the ground with teary eyes.

Outside, I could hear footsteps and whispers while I wiped my tears in frustration. I had let my guards down only for him to use it to his advantage.

The cold floor made me shiver so I made myself comfortable on the bed, my arms wrapped around my knees protectively. I heard the front door shut. I walked towards the room door and placed my ear against the door. No sound.

My hands turned the knob and I let out a sigh of frustration when I realized he actually locked the door. I didn't even know it was possible to lock this door.
