Someone in dark

Before I left, a feeling of someone watching me with a hawk eyes from the dark was sensed by me. Was someone still following me?

I had to be used to the stalker in the dark plus they never harmed me. I didn't mind their presence either because it had been a long time and I was used to it. After I had left the Weery city, I hadn't sensed eyes on me but here was again one. Umm…only one, not like a group as before.

I had accepted the saying ' The thing that doesn't kill you makes you stronger.'

If I begin to mind their presence than I will expose myself. No one other than me had ever noticed their presence nearby me. I could say whoever those were were well trained.

'Did they notice I had changed into a man?' was the only question in my mind because those eyes weren't looking at me with certainty.

Maybe I was overthinking as those could be present here for other reasons.
