Accepting Nick and Ray's help

After an hour when I was about to info hunt I could see the duo in the lobby. I walked ignoring them towards the cafe and the duo followed me quietly. They didn't disturb my work as they present food for me from time to time. As I was getting free lunch why waste it...

But today I got a piece of news about the members of Wega will be returning in five days and the shopping for supplements the same day. I snigger--

As I didn't want to directly return to my room I sat on a bench on the beach looking at the vast ocean.

There is a saying 'Be calm like an ocean' maybe people forget a lot of lives end and economic fatalities occur every year and even some country can't enhance their quality of life due to the disaster caused by the ocean. Not everything is bad about it as everything has its own good and bad point. What I am trying to say is, that the ocean doesn't remain calm forever. It is very very calm before the disaster and destruction so am I.

The duo was watching me and hesitated to speak as I was very quiet. I didn't turn toward them continued to look at the ocean and suddenly broke the silence.

"I don't know why both of you are hesitant to speak. But you guys should know that if you wait thinking it is not the right time always, the right time never comes. Sometimes you need to speak out, about what's on your mind clearly because if you don't, no one is going to know or guess what's on your mind. Maybe you guys want something from me or my help but sorry to tell you that I don't intervene on anything that's out of my concern and not related to me."

Both were quiet and adopting whatever I was saying to them. Then the burly man spoke.

"Miss, I am Ray. You may already know but I would like to say I was the best fighter in the underground arena for two years. Didn't think someone could defeat me and became arrogant. Even when Nick asked for help before I didn't help. When my best buddy got defeated by a girl I was so angry. It's not that I think girls can't fight but there was a very few times a lady fought in the arena and defeated the opponent. And you didn't attack but you kicked on a difficult part so I thought you were winning unjustly. I was a jerk before." finally the burly man spoke.

"Whatever you say about yourself you are. But do you know your best buddy was trying underhand methods while attacking me?"

"Umm…..I was not sure but I do doubt him and when I asked he changed his topic before too. I thought he won't do something like this ever. Sorry for the misunderstanding miss."

I humped in response.

"Miss when I was defeated by you I was a bit ashamed and I am not here for revenge. You are my idol, I want to learn from you. You could defeat me with 2-3 attacks so awesome!! Please teach me, miss!"

Ray started to kneel before me and asked repeatedly to teach him and Nick joined him too. As I sat on the bench I watched them with great patience.

"Miss, I, Nick also wants to learn from you. Please teach us both. I don't want to learn to fight but teach me to earn."

"Stand up both of you. Sorry, I can't help you guys."

I continued sitting, as both stood but hung their head low. I felt as if they were the child ready to be punished. One was very young than me and another was older but at this time I was seen as too mature for both of them. Am I being old??

"Miss if you don't mind can I ask you why you rejected us?"

"No hard feeling just that I don't have anything to teach you both. My life taught me so will yours."

"But we want to follow your lead."

"No, you can't."

I burst out and walked away leaving them alone puzzled.

Even after I rejected them they continued to pester me. As the fifth day was approaching I could get into a problem because of them. It was the time I had to be more careful. I have to have a good talk with them.

Only two days were left for members of Wega to return. During these days I was trying to know who was returning and when. I can make a plan only if I know the details. I have to be sure my plan works out effectively.

As I was surveying the stores and Wega supplements warehouse walking through the streets, I saw two heads watching me sneakily from the corner. I knew who they were, called them out, and told them to follow me.

I went directly to an old house far from the port. The surrounding here was out of the noise. I rented this house when I had left them on the beach alone that day.

After they entered the house I asked them to stay in the hall of the old house. As the house was old and hadn't been cleaned, they had to wipe the dust out of the chairs and sit down.

I just took a water bottle and sat on the clean armchair comfortably.

"I thought I made my words clear but you two didn't understand huh...?"

Nick-"It's not like that miss, we thought if we could convince you and maybe change your mind if we remained persistent so we are trying--"

"Do you guys know that you are making difficulties in my work by following me sneakily? You guys may be in danger by doing that."

Ray- "Sorry miss we didn't think so. You were right before, you can't teach us but we may learn just by watching you and we could be of some help for you too."

Nick- "Yes miss we can help if needed."

Help huh....and that's what I needed now as I have no human workforce. Maybe they can stay under me. Master had told me too, but …..

"Before you say anything hear me out first. I am not as good as you think. I have some other problems too and that may hurt you too. You guys will put yourself in danger and your life will be hanging on a thread if you work with me. Maybe I won't be able to protect you guys either."

Nick- "Miss is it sure I will die and how many days from now will I remain alive? I want to fulfill all the bucket lists I planned for the future while remaining alive."

'Oh, Nick !! you have not even started to work under me so you are being overdramatic.'

Ray- "Silly Nick, we are discussing the conditions and Miss hasn't approved of us. So stop yourself."

Nick-"It's you Ray who needs the approval to work with Miss but this lord has already worked under her in the arena so I am exposed to danger already."

Hahaha…..Nick and his thoughts.

"Working in the arena was cooperating but it's different for working under or for me."

Ray- "I have already decided to work with you on any situation."

"Me too."

"Ok as you have decided to stay under me, you have to know something about me. I won't share my personal details. And first of all, you need to pass the obstacle/ test I give you. Don't have to work separately but cooperate with each other well. And I have some rules which have to be followed strictly. First, don't go against my order and decision, secondly don't ask what you shouldn't, third can't betray me, if found I will personally kill you. Lastly, make yourself safe."

"Will we get paid if we work? As you may not know, I am always in need of money." Nick asked scratching his head.

"As your quality of work, you will. But I need a capable person so the people under me, have to prove they are qualified."

I told them to roam around the port, around the city, and if find any information, forward it to me immediately. Then when they reached the door to walk out I tapped the arms of the chair and spoke, "Call me B and not Miss from now on"

Letting the duo work on info, I opened the door to the basement and walked downstairs. There was an underground room in this house so I just rented it for it will be easy for me to implement my plan.
