Chapter 208: Kyoto Date

Chapter 208: Kyoto Date

~Ryuko M. POV~

[Japan, Kyoto]

Teleporting away thanks to my idiot abilities one second, we were in Romania and the next were in a city with Japanese architecture. I couldn't help but comment on his teleportation ability being convenient, "That ability of yours is quite convenient."

He replied as he held Valerie Tepes in his arms and spoke in a calm tone, "Oh, you haven't seen half of it. But first, we must take care of Miss Valerie here. After that… you don't think Eyebrows have time to date in this world?"

I raised an eyebrow as I recall my big sis might be a bit stressed lately. With Rei helping and Four Eyes managing, a little time to relax wouldn't be bad for her. Someone needs to take care of Valerie.

Thanks to the recently deceased vampires, we already have a good amount of cash. They may have been isolationist, but they certainly had some cash from other countries at the ready.

I nodded agreeing to Mash to date Satsuki here seeing she might need a small break occasionally, with a light grin, "Hmm… yeah, I don't see the problem. I'll keep an eye on Valerie in the meantime. You can leave her to me."

He grinned as we went to an apartment to have Valerie placed to rest with me being her bodyguard and letting my big sis have some fun. Besides I'm interested in what Kyoto differs from my own…

~Satsuki K. POV~

[Japan, Kyoto]

*Shiii*

Exiting outside the portal I was intrigued about our date as we appeared into a new world he grinned explaining himself, "Sorry if I haven't been paying attention to you as of late Eyebrows. But I finally had time to take a whole day just for you. Welcome to another world like Kyoto."

Wearing my Junketsu I knew the dangers when he explained to me of this worldline. But it only made me interested in spending my time with my beloved in a kind tone, "It's no issue at all my love. I know how important this is for you to travel to find your folks. But thank you for taking time off your search for me."

I still couldn't believe trying to wrap my head around the fact that we just traveled into a world line. It was one thing seeing it but experiencing it was completely different as I couldn't help but admit in a calm tone, "Still the ability to travel is stupidly overpowered my love."

I commented making him burst out laughing, while I couldn't help but shake my head. He remarks tightly squeezing my hand in a comforting tone, "It's been a while since we've had a date. Let's stroll around the town, admire the sights, and then find a place before searching for Youkai. Oh, and don't forget they don't like devils."

I nodded with a smile and squeezed his hand in return agreeing to his warning. So, in this world, the supernatural exists huh? Quite interesting…

Having the chance to enjoy myself I was allowed to express my curiosity about Kyoto. I never had the chance to truly enjoy my childhood always planning against Ragyo but for once I get to enjoy being myself and experiencing new things.

Kyoto is a city with a rich cultural heritage, filled with magnificent historical landmarks and stunning natural landscapes. As Mash and I walked through the busy streets, the city's traditional architecture caught our attention.

The buildings' intricate designs and delicate features were awe-inspiring, showcasing the skills of ancient Japanese craftsmen and architects. Almost like my own world but the differences are there. I couldn't help but ask him as we walked around, "Have you been to Kyoto before? Or any worldlines before?"

He shook his head denying it as he said in an honest tone, "Nope. First time here."

I nodded seeing his genuine curiosity as I said, "Thought so."

As we explored the city, I urged Mash to join me in visiting several shrines and temples. Each of these structures had a unique history to tell, revealing the city's deeply spiritual and cultural roots.

At some of them, Mash even informed me he noticed a faint essence of divinity, informing us that gods were active in the area. It just made me awed knowing how this world is different from my own as we walked through the serene gardens and admired the intricate carvings and sculptures, I felt a deep sense of respect and admiration for the people who built these structures so many centuries ago.

These were made by the free will of humanity. They weren't created because of some Life Fibers or any alien influence just simply man-made constructs which amazed this world further with a different history than my own.

As the day ended, we stumbled upon a charming restaurant with a cozy outdoor seating area. The décor was elegant, with Japanese lanterns casting a warm glow over the surroundings.

Soft traditional Japanese music played in the background, adding to the tranquil ambiance. The friendly waiter greeted us with a smile and ushered us to our table, where we perused the menu filled with tantalizing Japanese delicacies. I must know if they taste the same or different to know the differences.

As we settled into our seats at the quaint restaurant, the night sky stretched above us like a canvas, dotted with twinkling stars. The air was cool and invigorating and the sound of the nearby river added to the serene ambiance of the evening. The soft glow of lanterns cast a warm glow over the surroundings, adding to an enchanting atmosphere.

As we waited for our food to arrive, we chatted and admired the breathtaking scenery around us. The distant mountains were silhouetted against the starry sky, and the nearby cherry blossoms swayed gently in the evening breeze.

The city's architecture lent a sense of history and culture to the surroundings, making it the perfect setting for a romantic evening. When our food arrived, we savored each bite, enjoying the delectable flavors of traditional Japanese cuisine.

It was then I noticed this world's food tasted a bit better than my own. Perhaps because the God of food makes it tastier or is it simply good food I wonder. But soon we laughed and shared stories, savoring the moment and each other's company.

It was a simple yet perfect date, in a city that exuded history and charm in another worldline. We should go on a few more dates in the future if each world is this much different from the next only add the spice of our love life.

As we left the restaurant and continued our stroll through the city, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the experience and for the person by my side. Despite how I tried to mold him into my right hand he outright refused to bend a knee to my will. How funny that now he does is when I offer my body, mind, and soul that I'm content with him.

Truly life finds to make my life more interesting than the last. The night air was crisp and refreshing and the sound of the nearby river provided a soothing background to our conversation.

As the day ended, we managed to find a hotel and secure a room for the night that he priorly obtained. Fortunately, my little sister wouldn't interfere with us for the night. For the night… his all mine~

We soon entered our room and Mash made sure to magically set his Bounded Field to keep anyone from interfering. I sighed thanking him at times ensuring my little sister stayed safe with him.

When she made that promise I was reluctant to lose my sister again. But when she looked at me with those determined fiery eyes I couldn't say no to her especially if it was to help the one who saved our whole reality.

We both lay in bed our gaze as I smiled kindly leaning my face closer to his lips smirking in a confident tone, "This date is almost perfect… and I believe it's time to time to conclude it with a little… spice of life~"

He leaned closer to my lips almost touching as he extended both his arms at my body bringing me closer in a calm tone, "Very well my Satsuki. Ryuko had her time with me I think it's about time I share the same love huh?"

We learned to lock our lips in a kiss starting our wild night. Soon we went for a night of passion~ I needed this badly.

~Mash B. POV~

[Japan, Kyoto, Hotel]

As I awaken, a warm smile spreads across my face as I suddenly see Satsuki bare naked on top of my chest caressing her hair. She smiled in response, so cute.

Yesterday's date was almost perfect, Kyoto was beautiful, and my company was good, but the observers who were constantly following us made me quite annoyed. During our walks, we seemed to attract attention from the supernatural community, and I wasn't sure if Satsuki or even Ryuko had noticed it, but my hand was constantly on the trigger if these bastards tried anything funny.

Throughout the night, despite my unease, I remained quiet about it and used my magic to observe our uninvited guests using my [TOOS]. However, it quickly became apparent that they noticed my surveillance. Even now, there were 5 pairs of eyes constantly observing the hotel we were staying at, and they didn't seem to care that I knew about them.

This was probably the first time, since I started my journey, that I came across an intelligent race that could detect mana, and actively spied on me. Although I cast a Bounded Field and a few other Mystic Codes it seems that it tipped them off our location.

I wonder how they did it though? I made sure they were undetectable and yet they managed to locate us… how interesting. While Satsuki slept soundly, I stood up changed clothes, and brought Shinra-Koketsu out addressing the issue in her stoic tone, "Ugh… you guys are done fucking yet if so – whoa? Who's the group?"

Addressing the intruders stalking us I began to send a message to Ryuko to keep an eye on Valerie for the moment longer using the REVOCS bracelet. She soon texted agreeing to see they're more focused on me and Satsuki now.

Sighing out loud I wanted to know their reasons as I spoke in a neutral tone what their objective was as my irises changed into stars, "Sigh… [Sha Naqba Imuru: The Omniscient Omnipotent Star]. Hmm… is that what's all about?"

I tilted my head seeing my usage of the Gamer Ring didn't go unnoticed. Seems like I drew a beacon of sorts using it that's quite bad and something I need to fix in the future, but I got what I wanted. They simply came to check the unusual high-power magical energy source which led them to us.

Through my vision, I foresaw 3 figures striding purposefully toward our room, their measured footsteps and calculated movements betraying their status as something other than ordinary. Yokai Faction huh?

A broad smile appears on my face as I get Junketsu from his bag to avoid seeing me fuck her partner. With a sense of urgency, I lean forward to plant a gentle kiss on the forehead of the slumbering beauty beside me.

*Knock*

A sudden knocking at the door jolts Satsuki from her slumber, causing her to tense up momentarily before realizing her surroundings and relaxing. She lets out a sigh and plants a quick peck on my chin before starting to stretch exclaiming, "Morning my love~"

*Knock*

I couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable stretch, but my amusement was short-lived as another loud knock interrupted my eye candy as I informed her in a calm tone, "Good morning to you too. As you can hear, we have some visitors outside our room – 3 Yokai, to be precise."

She raises an eyebrow and dons Junketsu asking in a serious tone eyes narrowing, "Should I get my Bakuzan?"

*Snap*

Snapping my fingers using my Authority of Vainglory, [Overwrite] to get ourselves nice and clean instantly I replied in a calm tone, "I don't think that will be necessary, but be prepared to act if needed. Sorry, I can't send you home just yet, but they didn't detect Ryuko so she's fine."

She sighed in relief as she changed her Bakuzan size I raised an eyebrow as she smirked explaining herself in a confident tone, "What? Ever since I absorbed the Primordial Life Fiber I can use [Life Fiber Manipulation]. Changing a condensed weapon of life fibers isn't that hard to change its shape."

Fair enough –

*Knock*

I then heard a third knock on the door, getting impatient their knocking was grating on my nerves as I shouted, "I'm coming!"

I stride up to the door and swing it open, then greeted the 3 disguised men as I inquired them in a neutral tone, "Can I help you?"

One of them says with a light bow explaining to me about their purpose for coming here, "We apologize for disturbing you at such an early hour. Our mistress demands that you and your companion join her for tea."

I raised an eyebrow at his choice of words in a stern tone, "Demands?"

The man replies tersely, his face turning stoic and seemingly oblivious to the danger he has just put himself in, "Yes."

I smirked arrogantly as I spoke to Satsuki in a curious tone catching them off guard and her about this meeting, "Hey, Eyebrows! A fox Yokai invited us over for tea!"

The Yokai visibly tensed up upon hearing my words, surprised that I had seen through their laughable attempt at illusion magic. That [Magic Resistance] is no joke and no one's fool that I can see them as clear as day.

This is going to be a very interesting day that's for sure. Dealing with Vampires to Japanese folklore demons and spirits. Oh my.
