After finishing his snack, he reignited the campfires to get ready for the night. Meanwhile, Alice was organizing their supplies in the storage hut. Nakami cleaned the fish he caught earlier and marinated them for a delicious clay pot meal. Despite the limited ingredients, his culinary skills had greatly improved.

Nakami had his dinner while editing the content he planned to post for the day. Alice was still busy cleaning their base and didn't want to disturb Nakami. After Nakami finished posting, he noticed that Alice would sometimes gaze at her pendant intently, and sometimes smile for no apparent reason while looking at it.

He unloaded the logs from the cart, which was the only task left for the day. Alice had gone inside the sitting room or meeting room in the wooden cabin. Nakami decided to install a door between her room and the meeting room for privacy. He also preferred to use the meeting room for his activities, such as eating and working on his videos.

Nakami considered transmuting some furniture for his new home, but he was unsure if he could trust Alice. After 10 minutes of contemplation, he decided to reveal his transmutation power to her. Since she lived with him, it would be difficult to keep it hidden from her anyway.

Alice was seated, gazing at her pendant, as Nakami approached her slowly.

"Alice, I have something to show you. But please, don't ask any questions about it, and I hope you won't tell anyone else if more people come to this forest in the future."

Nakami used some of his 'E' to made two compound bows, several sets of arrows, and clothing for both himself and Alice.

Alice looked surprised for a moment, but then she seemed strangely happy, especially when Nakami gave her the newly made clothes.

"Thank you, master! Oh, sorry. Thank you, sir, for giving me these clothes. I will treasure them," Alice said as she hugged the new clothes tightly.

Nakami was taken aback by Alice's response, but he remained composed. He always tried to be kind to Alice and had no reason to harm her.

"Hmm, please don't call me sir or, ahem, master. You can call me Nakami. And remember, I'm not your boss. Let's treat each other like friends, okay? So, how was your day here? By the way, you did a great job on your first day," Nakami said.

Alice struggled to reply, stuttering a bit, "Thank you, Naaakami."

She then quickly rushed to her room and closed the door firmly.

Nakami left the cabin for his new home, where he planned to make the main room as comfortable as possible. He used his 'E' energy to made a leather bed, a solar-powered clock, and a table with a chair. He figured that there was no point in having 'E' if he wasn't going to use it to make his life easier.

Meanwhile, in the bedroom inside the log cabin, Alice was lying down, hugging the clothes she received tightly, and repeating to herself, "I'll do my best to meet Master's expectations!"

Once Nakami finished decorating his room, he spent some time practicing martial arts. Then, he made a bow-target to practice with his new compound bow. He placed the target in the opposite corner of the living area so that any arrows wouldn't accidentally hit Alice.

It was almost midnight, but Nakami was still working on drawing building plans. He was concerned about the water supply for himself and Alice. In order to maintain good hygiene, he wanted to be able to take a shower at least twice a day.

To solve this problem, he planned to build an aqueduct to transport water from a spring, about 1 kilometer away, to his base. It might take a few days to complete the project, but he considered it necessary.

Before heading to bed, Nakami stepped outside to check the perimeter and gazed at the moon. After taking in the peaceful night view, he retired to his room for the night.

5:30 AM, Nakami woke up and opened his phone to check for notifications.

He looked outside his window at the campfire and saw that Alice was already awake and cooking something for breakfast. She had even rekindled some of the campfire to light the base. Nakami had never done this before because of the [Night Owl] perk.

"Good morning, Alice. You don't have to cook so early. I can eat dry meat and some fruit for breakfast. Oh, the new clothes look great on you," Nakami said, giving a thumbs up.

"Umm umm, thank you sir Naaakami."

Alice's face turned a little red, then she looked away from Nakami while holding a pendant around her neck.

"Alice, I've noticed that you've been looking at that pendant a lot. It must be very important to you, right?"

"Not really, sir.. I used to hate this pendant. I was forced to marry a prince from another royal family. This pendant was a wedding gift from them, or at least part of it. The rest was taken by my siblings. I was sold by them. But when I got here, the pendant changed. It helps me now."

"What do you mean by it changed?" Nakami asked curiously.

Nakami realized something. Since he brought his phone from his previous life, Alice must have brought that pendant as the only item she brought from her previous life. His vision had improved a lot, especially at night, and whenever he looked at the pendant, it was just a black-colored mirror.

"No wonder she never asked anything when I use my phone in front of her. She can't see what I see. I also can't see what she's seeing on her pendant," Nakami thought to himself.

"Were the moving paintings about me making clay forges, ceramics, and stone tools?" Nakami asked awkwardly.

"Yes, sir! How do you know that?" Alice looked at her pendant for a moment and then looked at Nakami with a strange expression.

Nakami smiled at Alice, then left the area. He had eaten enough already and needed to make the water passage at least 300 meters from them. He decided to start from the spring, so he left the base with the steel tools he needed and some water containers to refill his base's water storage.

Nakami arrived at the spring half an hour later. He looked at the surrounding terrain and then started flattening some area for building his passage. The width of the passage would be 50 cm while the depth would be 20 cm. It shouldn't be too big, as he needed to cover the top of the passage or drain to ensure the water was safe from contamination.

Four hours later, it was almost noon, and 500 meters of the water passage had been completed, but it was still not connected to the spring. Nakami gathered some wood logs, water, and food, and brought them back to the base with his log cart.

When he arrived, he saw that Alice was watching her pendant in the dining area next to the cooking area.

"Welcome back, sir! Let me unload the fruits and water. Are you going to cook lunch now?" Alice asked eagerly as she started unloading the cart.

"Yes, I caught some birds, so I'll make bird fry for lunch. Afterward, I'll show you the safest path to the spring and beach. As long as you feel safe, you're free to go outside," Nakami replied as he started preparing the birds he had caught.

They had lunch together at 2 PM before Nakami took Alice to the spring and beach path. This time, Nakami brought bows because he wanted to hunt giant rabbits during their outdoor adventure, and he wanted Alice to show him the approximate location of them.

It took them 2 hours of brisk walking to finally spot a rabbit, and Nakami used his bow to shoot it from 30 meters away, killing it instantly. Alice didn't seem scared at all, she looked very happy.

They hunted 2 rabbits before leaving the area. Nakami heard the sound of flowing water, like a river, and he was correct. There was a river there, not too big or small, just average. He guessed that the giant rabbits camped there for easy access to water.

Nakami let Alice play with the bow, and to his surprise, she used it comfortably better than the average person. He was curious and said, "Wow, you seem to be good with a bow! That's what you call a princess! Haha."

"Hmm, I just copied everything you did, just like the moving paintings on the pendant showed me. Thank you, sir."

"Wait, I just posted a video of archery yesterday and she already learned it that quickly. It must be the magic of the pendant, just like its [Video Maniac]. She can learn faster, huh?" thought Nakami.

"Maybe I should post some educational videos? She doesn't seem to have common sense with standard mathematical operations, measurements, or even basic chemistry..."
