Alice is a girl with a fragile heart. Always terrified of falling in love because she doesn't want her heart to be broken. Now, she got married and took the risk in marrying Gab. She couldn't be happier being loved by him. Alice is living a contented happy life with the man of her dreams. Making her believe in love and in fairytales again but what if it is all just a mirage? A pathetic facade leading to what she scared the most now that Alison came back to their lives? Will she relived the horrifying heartbreak that she witnessed growing up or will she have her happily ever after?
Growing up, we are told that someday you will find the person fated to be with you just like in fairy tales. That someday all the pain and struggles we were experiencing are only obstacles that was leading us to that one person... Our soulmate.
Growing up, we are indoctrinated that that person will be the one who will make us a better version of ourselves and accepts every bit of you without a question.
Everything will start with 'once upon a time' and ended up with 'they will live happily ever after' and forgetting that there is still quest and hardships in between.
In most fairy tales, when the prince charming and the princess tied the knot that means they will live happily ever after but I agree to disagree.
Marriage isn't the ending...
