I don't know if I should be happy or scared, I want to escape but my hands are tied, my feet are tired from walking so I stopped just in time when the civilian guards stopped and looked at me.

"Consort Radisha, do you have a problem? Would you like to eat?"

I shook my head while pouting. Why out of all the women in the kingdom, I was chosen to be the consort of the king? And the palace is so far away, is it located in the mountains? I might die before reaching the palace.

"Let's continue walking, it's getting dark and we need to reach the palace."

I was lifted by a civilian guard and placed on the back of a horse, I got really nervous because I didn't know how to ride a horse.

As the sun was setting, we reached the palace and I was amazed by its beauty. The palace was unlike any other kingdom's. As soon as you enter, there are red candles lined up on the sides and a big Sakura tree standing outside. The air was fresh and most importantly, it was quiet and snow was falling.

"So this is how it is in your kingdom, it snows and it's extremely cold. I hope you won't freeze from the cold, right?"

We continued walking inside. We have walked a long way and I couldn't believe that the kingdom is so big, yet so quiet. The old eunuch stopped and faced me, making me stop as well.

"You should present yourself properly to the king now that you will see him. And what you need to do now is clean yourself up, don't worry.. the palace servants will assist you."

I nodded. But I need to know where the king is now so I can talk to him and ask him to let me go. "If you want to ask me where the king is, I cannot tell you."

I looked at the old man in surprise as he now bowed his head almost touching the ground. I slowly turned around and looked up, there was a man with long, black hair, thick eyebrows, fair skin, and he smelled really good. I stared at him for a while, so did he but he snapped his fingers on my forehead and I quickly touched my forehead.

"You're the new consort, aren't you? And you came from Ming."

"Yes, Your Majesty,"

I answered while looking at his feet. Even if I don't look at him, I can feel the signals he's making with the old man. I also felt that the old man was no longer behind me.

"You can look at me now,"

I shook my head, I can't.

He held both of my cheeks and I couldn't do anything but stare at him.

"Don't call me Your Majesty anymore, just call me Buqu"

  I didn't know why but I started smiling when I heard his name, Buqu. It sounds so cute, like a dog's name, Buqu.. aw aw.

"Are you smiling? Did I say something funny?"

I was a bit surprised, we were so close to kissing because his face was so close to mine. I quickly moved away.

"There's nothing funny about what you said, Your Majesty."

After a few seconds, I remembered what the old eunuch said
