Nathan watched her figure as she slowly clean up the tray where she had eaten a bowl of porridge.
His eyes seemed to be at a daze as he watched her silently.
It was only when Sarah turned her back and reached the door when he stopped her.
The door closed with a soft thud as he placed his palm on the door surface.
Before him, Sarah jolted.
Her small shoulders crouched slightly as she became aware of his presence on her back.
"When you said you will stay away, does that mean you will not stay by my side anymore?"
"Eh?" Sarah doubted her ears and turned around, coming eye to eye with Nathan's gloomy face.
"I like to eat the food you cooked. Your stir fry vegetables is sometimes charred. Your fish fillet is a bit strong to taste. But I like it." He paused. His eyes were staring straight at Sarah as if he wanted to imprint himself on her.
