Nia blinked at him and the glassiness faded away. "Wife?"
"Yeah, she is an elf, and a really cute one too," Bane replied, but Nia didn't move.
"If you can't feel my pain, and you can't sense it, then there is no way you are a demon," Nia muttered, and Bane rolled his eyes.
"Of course, I'm not a demon. I'm a human. Goodbye."
Bane turned to leave, but the woman suddenly clung to one of his legs, but Bane kept walking despite the complaining woman.
"Stop. Don't leave me," Nia begged as she held onto his leg, but Bane didn't stop, and he ignored her until the door shut behind them, leaving her alone.
'You are a cold-hearted bastard,' Onyx said, and Bane snorted.
'You know who my wife is, and I have no interest in pissing around with women right now, or ever for that matter. Just Lysia is more than enough, so I will be as cold hearted as I have to be,' Bane answered as he looked around the small circular room.
