Xavier came out from the bathroom, with a towel around his waist, his upper body was bare, revealing the tattoo, and he used another towel to dry his hair.
He froze when he met Zeke on his bed, staring at him with a smirk.
"Hey, you pervert, why are you in my room?" Xavier asked.
"My room felt empty, I missed you, we've been roommates for five years, how won't I get so used to you," Zeke said with a sheepish grin and Xavier threw the towel he used to dry his hair on him.
"Get out," Xavier said, wearing a green t-shirt and black pants.
"I still haven't seen your so-called Athena," Zeke said with a smirk, getting out of Xavier's bed and looking around his room.
"Be patient, Father said we'll see her tomorrow," Xavier said with a smile, one that always broke out on his lips when he thought about Athena.
"Don't tell me you believed that lie?" Zavian asked in Xavier's head, but he was hushed instead.
Xavier felt something was off, but he didn't want to put his mind to it, it was a good thing that his Father released her, his father wouldn't lie about it, would he?
"Now get the hell out of my room!" Xavier said to Zeke who made a U-turn, heading to the door, but before he could reach the door, he halted and turned to Xavier, while rubbing his neck with his hand.
"Uhm, that girl, the one with the curly brunette hair and the sexy curves..."
"Oh you mean Sarah?" Xavier asked, picking up a hint. He stood up with a smirk, walking to where Zeke stood.
"Yes, that...that one," Zeke said, stuttering and blushing.
"What's up with her, is there a problem," Xavier said, still smirking.
"Does she, or is she...you know what, never mind," Zeke said, he shook his head and walked out of Xavier's chamber.
"Have a nice rest," Xavier shouted behind him, teasing him, he closed the door and lay on his bed, exhausted.
It was still early noon and he couldn't wait to see Athena, although he wanted to surprise her, he also had the urge to just hold her and kiss her.
He thought about Athena until he drifted to sleep, thankfully Zavian was not being a nuisance and kept quiet.

"Wake up!" I heard Zavian's voice and my eyes flew open, it was night-time and the moon was up, shining brightly. In just a minute Zeke came into my room, all dressed up like he was going for a special occasion, we were having a feast, not a royal ball.
"You are not ready yet?" Zeke asked in an angry tone.
"What's getting you so worked up, are you nervous because you might see Sarah again?" I said with a smirk as I rubbed my eyes, sitting up on my bed.
"Yes--I mean no...Sarah? Why would I be nervous... nervous...she's just a maid..."
Shy, don't ever speak like that about someone you like, one time I said those exact words about Athena and she heard it, she didn't speak to me for months." I said reminiscing about the time I called Athena 'Just a maid,' a smile formed on my face when I remembered how vexed she was. I closed up the last button on my shirt and packed my hair in a ponytail.
Zeke paced up and down in my room nervously, I couldn't help but tease him, I didn't know he liked her this much already in such a short time, even Athena and I spent years hating each other before love blossomed.
We went down to the royal diner where the feast took place. The doors open and the large pile of food and the sweet scent of roasted meat welcomed us first. The delicious, mouth-watering scent wafted past my nostrils.
The king, and my brothers, even Elvis and Joseph who I didn't see when I arrived, were at the plateau.
The king's mistresses were also part present, including Alex and The general. I took a seat in the vacant space next to the king and Zeke sat next to me. The table was lengthy and could reach a total of twelve people. It was decorated with scented candles, giving a warm glow to the dark dining hall that was only lit up due to the lighting fixture.
"Brother, how long has it been?" Joseph said taking a sip out of his wine.
"Five years Joseph and a friendly reminder, am not the same young kid you used to bully," I replied with a smirk and I saw him nod.
"I did not see you when I arrived," I said again.
"Ah yes, Elvis and I went to hunt for the meat you see on the table," He replied.
"Thanks for the warm welcome, brother," I said, maintaining eye contact with him since that was the best way to intimidate people.
"Who's your friend?" Elvis asked, staring keenly at Ezekiel, who was also staring at Sarah, who stood behind the other maids. He came back to his senses when Elvis asked who he was.
"My close friend, Ezekiel Gray, is Merchant Simon Gray's son from the Melech Kingdom." I introduced.
"A pleasure, meeting the princes of Cranes kingdom," Ezekiel said with a smile.
"You look calm, you must have forgotten about your first love," Elvis said.
"Oh yes, I was about to ask the same, haven't you heard?" Joseph asked.
"Heard what?" I asked, my face turning a few shades darker.
"Let's just eat," King Aaron said, trying to change the topic again.
"Tell me what happened to Athena!" I said, letting out a low growl, but that wasn't me, it was Zavian. I didn't realize I was clenching the glass of wine I held until it shattered into pieces.
"We sold her to Stones Empire for some upgrade, didn't you notice the changes?" Prince Nathan said nonchalantly.
"You what?!" I asked, standing up abruptly.
"You told me you released her Father!" I said, looking at the king, whose head was lowered.
"I lied," King Aaron simply said, the rage I felt inside me was boiling to the highest depths. I could feel Zavian taking over, I clenched my fist while the claws dug into my skin, and my pupils dilated and turned red.
"Well you shouldn't have done that, Liars go to hell," Zavian said, the cold wind blew off the candles and all the glasses in the diner shattered, everything made of glass including the light fixtures and bulbs.
Screams were heard from the mistresses and maids, while there was confusion etched on the males' faces.
The maids lit up the candles but Xavier was nowhere to be seen, it was like he vanished because the sound of the doors opening was not heard, either that or he jumped out the window, which would be a suicidal move because the royal diner was at the highest floor in the castle.
