Chapter 7 SILLY PRINCE

Two weeks had passed and Alex Wasn't back yet,his friends were already missing him so much that every little topic would involve him,on the other hand Xavier and Athena had become rivals,their relationship was complicated and he teased her anytime he saw her also spending the whole day with her just to make her work for him,he doesn't let her out of his sight and always punishing her when she made a mistake.

"Wash these too"Xavier said bringing his dirty laundry to Athena,she glared at him,she was exhausted and weak but Xavier didn't care, instead he doubled the work,Athena didn't complain she washed the clothes while the prince stood there looking at her.she got up and hunged them neatly when she was done washing them.

"Athena,where have you been it's dinner time"Sarah said then her gaze travelled to the Prince who was standing right next to Athena.

"She's busy, she won't be joining you guys for dinner"Prince Xavier said.

"What but am hungry?"Athena cried out.

"Finish the clothes."Xavier said.

"But am done with it"Athena said,Sarah stood there dumbfounded, looking between the Prince and Athena arguing like old people,she sneaked back into the dining hall unnoticed by anyone.

"You are my maid, anywhere I go you follow"Xavier said and started walking ahead expecting her to follow closely behind him but she didn't move an inch,he stopped and turned to her raising a brow.She pouted and followed him maintaining her distance.

Her Stomach growled and Xavier heard it and pretended not to notice.

"Come with me"He said,grabbing her hand and running towards the garden dragging her behind him.

"Where are we going,my legs are sore Prince"she complained behind him.

"You'll see."Xavier said and when they arrived at the garden stopping right Infront of the tree paths, different types of different type of trees with different type of fruits. Xavier picked a rock and threw it trying to pluck a fruit. he missed an after trying several times he was unable to pluck a thing.

"lazy Prince, let me teach you how you pluck a fruit"Athena said. she picked five flat stones ,she closed one of her eyes the other opened and she threw the stones and it went directly to the target she tried again over five shots and more fruits came down.

"whoa"Xavier said he was impressed but mostly shocked.

"Here you go"Athena said picking the fruit and giving them to Xavier,she dust her hands and turned to leave.

Xavier suddenly ran and cut in front of her,he stretched his hand that contained two apples.

"Here"Xavier said giving her the apples,she hesitated for a while thinking the Prince was looking for a means to annoy her again but her stomach again so she had no choice but to accept it.

"Thank you"She said.

"where did you learn that?"He asked.

"I used to farm with my dad" Athena answer taking a bite out of the apple and munching on it.

"Your dad?"Xavier asked and Athena nodded.

"So you have families?"Xavier asked with a smirk expecting her to get angry and scold him but shockingly she didn't.

she nodded an answered "Of course maids aren't homeless,you know"

He was silent and just kept staring."What?"Athena asked.

"Huh...uhm,clean my shoes red haired"Xavier said putting his mean face back on, Athena rolled her eyes and squatted cleaning his shoes until they were sparkling.

'I knew this silly Prince couldn't be nice forever'she said inwardly as she wiped his shoes.

"Now walk me"Xavier said.

" Me,why should I"she asked.

"Because I said so."Xavier said and started walking ahead while she imitated him from behind.

Athena walked back to the maids quarters, exhausted like always, her foot was hurting like hell and she was feeling aches all over her body. Diana and elderly maid who was also close with Athena came with an ice pack.

"Take this it will help with aches"She said giving her the ice pack.

"Thank you Ma'am Diana"Athena said and flash a thankful smile. Rose came along without a word the little girl took off her sister's sandals she collected the ice pack cooling her sister's feet. Diana was all smiles, the scene was so adorable that anyone who saw it at that moment will instantly be carried away by the siblings sweetness.

"Thank you" Athena said.

"Did you eat something,dinner perhaps?"Rose asked when Diana left and Athena shook her head.

"Here I swiped this from the table,eat it"

Rose said giving her sister a piece of bread,Athena took it and ate without hesitation.

"What were you doing, why did you miss dinner"she asked.

"That silly Prince wouldn't let me go he's at it again, always interrupting my privacy,I hate that guy"Athena complained.

"Silly Prince?"Rose asked.

"The young prince Xavier"Athena said.

"Oh the handsome prince"Rose asked with a grin.

"He's not a prince charming he's a rude silly Prince"She answered with a pout.The girls settled in when it was late and after singing the lullaby to her sister, Athena fell asleep.
