Chapter 6 Alex's Incident

Athena angrily scrubbed the dishes as she mumbled to herself.

"What's wrong dear?"Madam Lisa asked after noticing Athena's attitude.

"It's that so called Prince"Athena said angrily.

"Really,what did he do this time?"Madam Lisa asked.

"He got involved in my privacy!"she replied.

"Ohh!"Mrs Lisa said.

"Yea,it's so frustrating"Athena said and a loud clang was heard.She had broken one of the plates.

"Cool down dear,don't vent your anger on the poor dishes, please"Madam Lisa said pulling her aside and squatting to pick up the sharp pieces.

"Am sorry, Madam Lisa"Athena said.

"It's okay dear"Madam Lisa said.

"By the way Madam Lisa Have you seen Alex?"Athena asked and a loud commotion began at the courtyard.Athena and Madam Lisa ran behind the other maids to see what was happening.

Alex was there laying down with blood oozing out of his stomach,and standing on top of him was Elvis and Joseph.

"Oh Heavens."Madam Lisa said rushing towards the unconscious boy who laid there lifelessly,Guards and Maids ran towards him and trying to stop the bleeding, thankfully he was still alive.Sarah and Rose were also there crying.Athena was too shocked to do a thing so she just stood there as tears rolled down her eyes,she turned her gaze to the prince's who stood there too but she could see they were scared down to their wits.Apparently they were practicing archery and placed an apple on Alex's head, after paying a deaf ear to the boy's pleas they shot the arrow and missed, the arrow went directly to the boys stomach and impaled his abdomen.Athena angrily walked towards the Princes with a stick in her hand she looked like someone who had been possessed by a demon, without thinking twice she hit the stick on Joseph head and then on Elvis shoulders.She hit them over and over again while the maids gasped at the guts Athena had.The guards immediately rushed to her and carried her off the princes while they groaned in pain,she had already decorated the princes face with beating marks.

The matter reached the king,Athena and everyone present at the scene was in the throne room.They had carried Alex to a different town for treatment and he won't be back for a long time since the wound was severe and would take a long time to heal.The king addressed them hearing their sides of the Story.Athena explained why she beat the princes up bravely and the king was impressed.

"So you are telling me a little girl like you, disciplined these two?"King Aaron asked pointing at the princes and looking at the little girl with interest.

"I would have done more if the guards hadn't stoped me your majesty"Athena said shooting daggers at them and they instantly jolted in fear.

"I am deeply sorry about this your Majesty,I will punish her accordingly."General K said.

"Why should I be punished,they hurt my friend,just because they are princes doesn't make them gods"Athena said and king just kept staring at her in awe.

"Athena!!"The general scolded and she jolted.

"I like your confidence little girl but you shouldn't have beaten up the princes"King Aaron said and Athena fell silent with her head bowed.She knew she had done wrong by taking matters in her own hands.

"Now apologize dear"Madam Lisa said.

"Am sorry your highnesses, please forgive me"Athena said with a slight bow then turned her gaze to Xavier who was intently staring at her.

"Do not punish her,at least this two fools has learnt their lessons"King Aaron said.

"But Father she deserves to be punished,see what she did to my gorgeous face"Prince Joseph said.

"Shut the hell up,and look what you did to a human being,he could have been killed."Prince Nathan voice ranged in the throne room and the princes hid behind General K.

"Your wish is my command your majesty"General K said with a bow and dismissed Athena.

"I must say the little girl's beauty is truly incomparable."Prince Nathan said as soon as the door shut behind her.

"True,uhm Madam Lisa keep an eye on that girl."King Aaron said.

"Yes your majesty."the old lady replied and left also.Xavier without a word excused himself from the conversation heading out the door.

"Where are you going?"Prince Adam asked.

"To flirt with your woman,brother"Xavier replied without looking back and everyone burst out In laughter.

"What a rude child,it will take a miracle to change him"The king said when his laughter ceased.Xavier ran after Athena as fast as he could,he saw her walking towards the maids quarters with an apple in her hand.She was about to take a bite out of it when he grabbed it from her and took a bite out if it instead.

''Hey give me that,it's mine!"Athena said making an attempt to take it back.

"This is my palace"He said and Athena glared at him before dropping her hands to her sides.She walked away and Xavier followed her closely,she noticed that Xavier seemed to be following her around she went to the kitchen hoping he would not go in there,but unfortunately he did,She hid herself under the table placed at the corner of the kitchen and after searching for her in vain Xavier finally left she came out and as soon as she blinked Sarah was already Infront of her .

"Who are you hiding from?"she asked looking around the kitchen.

"You scared me,I thought you were that silly Prince"Athena said breathing in relief.Sarah didn't say a word and she knew Sarah wasn't still over the incident that happened with their friend and so was she.

"Come here"Athena said opening her arms and Sarah went into her warm embrace.

"Everything will be okay,Alex will be fine"Athena said and Sarah nodded sadly.
