-Going Out-

Amanita entered and Clay looked at her, blankly. "Amanita is a mushroom. Clearly that's what your parents were on when they were naming you. Anyways, just find a random room. And live in it. I don't even care. I'm just waiting for that other guy to get here. Another tailor. I've been hiring people left and right without even questioning it then not even half of them show up at my doorstep. Just go in the kitchen once you find a room and all of that stuff before I burrow myself into a deeper hole of dejection.".

Amanita slowly nodded then went upstairs with her bags. Axel stopped her in the hallway. "Hey. You're new here. My names Axel. It's nice to meet you.", he greeted. Amanita politely smiled, nodded, then kept walking to the last room in the long hallways. She knocked to see if anyone was in it. No answer. She went inside. Empty. This is her new room.

In the kitchen:

"Why the fuck are you in here?", Oliver asked. "Because. I have nobody to talk to. Everyone is occupied at the moment but you.", Darby stated. "I'm occupied, dumbass. I'm cooking.". Amanita walked into the kitchen.

"It smells good in here!", she exclaimed. Oliver turned around, turning off the stove. "You think? I'm just cooking some bacon risotto-",

"Risotto?! Oh my gosh, I love risotto! Would you mind if I had some...?", Amanita asked. "Of course. Maybe I can show you some tricks or two to making the perfect risotto.", Oliver offered. She grinned.

"I'm Oliver. Nice to meet you.". "I'm Amanita. Yes, like the mushroom.". "And I'm Darby. One of the butler's here. You should go get a room if you haven't. I'll show you to one if-",

"Oh no, I already have a room. Thanks for the offer, though!", Amanita said. Once she left the kitchen Darby took a broom and rammed it against Oliver's neck. He struggled to break free. "What do you want you d-dick?!", Oliver stammered, gasping for air.

"Tell your fiancé to abort the baby or I'll make her.", Darby threatened. "Fuck you.".

Upstairs:

"So, when did you get here, Jasper?", Charlotte asked. "Just today. The king just told me to find a room. He gave me this nasty attitude. It made me kind of intimidated, honestly.", Jasper confessed then ran his fingers through his light brown hair and stared Charlotte down with his light brown eyes.

"He's prissy, don't worry. You just have to get used to it.". Charlotte sighed then looked down at the stuffed rabbit she made for her baby. She smiled. "It looks nice. You're very talented, Charlotte.", Jasper complimented.

"Thanks. You know, if I had a choice between a nice home with my fiancé, my son, and baby I'd stay here. I'm not too sure why but I just love it here. The people here might be absolutely insane, but...". Jasper shortly laughed.

"Who have you met so far?", Charlotte asked. "Esme or whatever, Axel, Oliver, Eva or something, Tobias, and Darby.", he responded.

"Oliver's my fiancé. Ah, I love him. And Toby is my son. They're the 2 loves of my life.", Charlotte said with a smirk. "A cook and a tailor. You two are great parents and are going to be wonderful to that baby of yours. Oliver is lucky to have you...a-and so is Tobias!", Jasper stalled. Charlotte sharply exhaled. "Thank you, Jasper, honestly.".

Downstairs:

Esma stared at Darby with a dead expression plastered on her face. "Don't look at me like that, Ez.", Darby groaned. "How am I supposed to see you the same when you're going to have a child with Charlotte. Out of all people, her?! Really?! She could never compare.", Esma claimed.

Darby pressed his fingers to his temples. "It's not going to be my child. I'm not taking it. Just because it has my genes and all of that glorious shit, doesn't mean I'm part of its family. And...it's funny that I got her pregnant when her and Oliver have done it multiple times. Charlotte's beautiful and independent in all honesty. And it came from this stupid bet-no...I came from this stupid bet.". Esma elbowed him. "Darby!", she shouted. He laughed.

"I wouldn't want to be with her, anyways-",

"Then what about Evie?! You two seem to be getting along perfectly!", Esma muttered. "I don't want to be with anyone but you. Can't you see that?".

"Apparently I can't. Because, I wouldn't go screwing other girls, invading my personal belongings, or flirt with other girls. So please. Once you get your shit together, I will fully understand that's when we can find solace in each other.", Esma professed then started to walk away.

Darby grabbed her arm before she could leave. They gazed into each other's eyes. "What do you want from me?", she whispered as Darby's cologne invaded her space. "Is this what you want?". Esma pulled the collar to his white shirt and kissed him.

-------------------------------------------

Friday. Just a day till the weekend.

Clay stared at the paper sitting in front of him, clicking his pen. "Ugh! I feel so foolish looking for something that probably doesn't even exist.", he groaned then weakly threw his pen on the floor.

"They're out there somewhere, Master. Trust me. You'll find them someday.", Darby said. "Don't tell me the impossible, you dunce. I don't like being fed things that aren't there.".

Darby rolled his eyes. "This is imposturous. I don't have parents and that's final.", Clay stated then crumpled up the piece of paper. "I should just stop trying.", he mumbled.

"Lord, the more you talk like that, the less confident you'll be to-",

"Don't try to entice me, idiot! I already feel like a cat who's ate too much chocolate and is ready for it's decease. You don't have to try to rig your way through to me today because it just won't work. So you can move on with your little tsundere and leave me alone.".

Darby sharply but slowly exhaled while nodding.

In the living room:

Esma sat on the couch with her white satin dress that goes just above her ankles. "Wit. The strength encouraged inside someone can't stand the amount of. Wit. Nobody can push me around because I have. Wit.", Esma recited.

"Do you think that poem will really get him? I mean, you could've tried a little harder like...Sparrow. You glide across the crisp air, leaving everyone breathless. Your dark complexion is enough to send someone into a trance. You put me into my place and leave me thinking; if a sparrow as bright as you can fly...why can't I?", Evie recited.

"Personally, I think he'd fall for something like that.", she sneered. Esma looked down at her folded, white gloved, hands. "Hm. Maybe I should use that on him. Whatever. Do your little wit poem. I'm sure to win his heart, anyways.".

"Why do you even like him?!", Esma shouted. Evie smirked. "He's nice to me? He's never done anything wrong to me? Uhm, let me see...he's better than most guys in this place...?".

"Just go for Jasper or something! At least he's available...", Esma muttered.

"I'll go for whoever I want, bitch.".

"What has gotten into you since you first came here?! Like-you were actually nice when we first met. Now you look like you'd do anything for a penny-",

"I...! I don't know! Leave me alone! Why are you even talking to me?!", Evie snapped then quickly speed-walked out of the living room.

Esma put her hands on her face. Darby walked in the room and crept over to her then put his hand on her shoulder. She flinched up in shock and sighed when she seen it was just him.

Esma kissed him on the cheek. "Hey. You nearly gave me a heart attack. Don't creep up on me like that.".

Darby sharply exhaled with a smirk. "Why are you all dressed up...?", he asked. She took his hand and held it while looking into his eyes. "Well...I was going to see if Clay go let us go out together...on a date....that's if you agree of course!", Esma panicked embarrassingly.

"Are you kidding me...? Of course I want to go out with you, Ez.", he whispered then kissed her.
