The Mana System Of The Apocalypse

Gods out looking for entertainment decide to have what they called Universal Supremacy. This is my story of how I became the new God. Like any other day or like no other everyone on the planet all heard the voice claiming to be our creator all at the same time. "Mortals your progress is too slow for me and we am running out of time. So to speed things up, I will be releasing mana to your galaxy. Grow strong and grow fast so that you may one day fight for supremacy and rule by my side." And that my dear readers is how I started my journey to becoming the new God.

Lightning Hawk

After coxing Michelle, I teleported into the forest to begin my scouting mission. First, I teleported myself above the woods to see how far it went, and it was way more extensive than I initially thought. As far as I can see, all I see are trees.

Dwayne: 'It looks like it will take a couple of days to get through the forest if I want to take everyone with me.'

Looking around from above, I saw a flock of what looked like hawks, and they were heading straight for me. You would think I would be scared in this situation, but I was excited. Finally, I can get a flying magic beast for myself, and it comes with a team.

Seeing them getting closer, I teleported towards them as I planned out how I could tame them without killing them.

I teleported right above the biggest one, which seemed to be their leader, before I balled my fist and covered it in space elemental energy and punched down on its head. It let out a painful shriek before falling to the ground. The other hawks took a second to realize what was going on before they went into a frenzy, trying to kill me.

They threw wind, lightning, fire, and other elemental attacks. I was very excited to know that they had such various elements.

I teleported towards the leader hawk, who had stopped the descent and shot lightning attacks at me from below. Back above its head, it learns from its mistake and releases a massive amount of lightning from its body toward me. Only to find out that I have encased it in a space bubble with my space element. I floated down near its head and looked into its eyes before speaking to it.

Dwayne: "Yo, if you submit to me, I won't kill you and all your friends above my head. You might think that I caught you off guard or you are fast enough to escape from me if given a chance. But it's sad to say that you cant do either. I'm stronger than you, faster than you, and I can help you evolve and awaken your bloodline. You might not believe me, but you would understand if you see my other tamed beasts. But anyway, either you submit to me or watch as I kill off the rest of your flock."

Lightning Hawk: "caw caw caw."

Dwayne: "Oh, you can not speak telepathically yet? Ok, nod your head up and down if you agree."

It stared at me for a while and waited for its flock to get closer. As soon as the other hawks got close enough, I froze the space around them while slowly siphoning the time out of their bodies. I looked back at the lightning hawk smiling at the bewildered expression as I held the life and death of its flock in my hands. I noticed the hint of mockery in its eyes, not knowing I was waiting for them.

Dwayne: "Would you like to submit now or wait and watch as they slowly get older and die?"

Lighting Hawk: "I agree; please spare my flock."

Dwayne: "Oh, so you can speak. Next time don't play games with me or wipe you all out. But since you have chosen to accept me as your master, I will overlook it this once."

Dwayne: "I'm a little disappointed that your bloodline percentage is low, but it is still a good bloodline. If you do a good job, I can help you increase it."

Lightning Hawk: "Thank you, Master."

Dwayne: "Do you have a name for yourself because calling you lightning hawk is too long and annoying."

Lightning Hawk: "I do not have a name Master as we communication by our bird calls, and none of the other hawks have developed the telepath ability yet."

Dwayne: "Well, you will o by the Lightning. I expect great things from you, Lightning, so do not let me down."

Lightning: "Thank you, Master, for the name, and I will do my best not to let you down."

Dwayne: "Great, now get your flock under control, and if there is anyone from your flock that you don't have 100% control over, then just kill them because we can't take them with us."

Lightning: "Understood, Master. Caw caw caw."

After our conversation, I noticed three hawks attacking Lightning, but they were taken care of in no time. The other hawks lined up behind him in V formation, ready for combat. There were still 15 hawks left, and this was a great harvest. But I still have a mission that I came out to do.

Dwayne: "I will now send you and your flock to your new home. Tell them not to resist the pull they feel, and you will understand soon what I mean."

Lightning: "Yes, Master. Caw caw caw."

I sent them into my space pendant and immediately sent my consciousness in to ensure they didn't mess up the place.

Dwayne: "Lightning, gather you flock towards me and let me set down the ground rules."

Soon all 15 hawks and Lightning landed in front of me in an open field. I pointed out all the off-limits areas and where the other magic beasts lived. I made sure to tell them to stay away from my garden and the flowers that have the potential to evolve into fairies like Sakura. They then went to one of the mountains in the far back to set up their nest and make their new home. Leaving them to it, I summoned Lightning as I sat on his back and flew off, heading deeper into the forest.

Dwayne: "Lightning, is there any magic beast I should be aware of, and do you know the fastest route to get to the other end of the forest?"

Lightning: "Master, there are many powerful beasts in the forest, but most of them stay in their territory. Most are on my level, but some are much stronger than me. It just can't fly, so we never have any issues and stay out of each other's way. As for a quicker route, I can guide you around most of the stronger magic beast's territories."

Dwayne: "Thats good enough; I need to get to my family as soon as possible before anything happens to them. Head back that way. Tomorrow you and your flock will lead out of this forest as soon as possible. Even if some of the routes have a strong beast on them, it is fine as long as they are not way stronger than you; it will be a quick battle."

Lightning: "Yes, Master."

The others at the camp grew terrified when they saw the giant lightning hawk heading their way, but the other magic beasts could sense that he was one of them, so they were very calm. When Joe and Michelle noticed that the beast was not agitated by its arrival, they didn't bother getting upset. They could see me standing on its back, so they knew everything was all good.

Landing in an open area, I see Elisabeth running to me with sparks in her eyes as she looks at Lighting. He was dark brown with a few streaks of gold feathers on his head. He was big enough to carry five people comfortably and looked majestic standing there with his head high.

Elisabeth: "Dwayne, can I have him? He is so cool! Pretty please can I have him? You said that you will get me my own magic beast and I want this one."

Dwayne: "Hahaha... This one is a little bit too much for you to handle but I do have others and I can let you choose from one of them. But this is only if your mother agrees for you to have a battle pet."

Elisabeth agrees as she jumps into my arms excited about getting a magic bird beast even before she asked her mother. I couldn't help but laugh at her antics. Her youthful innocence is part of the reason I like her so much. She reminds me of my little sister.

Walking back to the group I left Elisabeth circling around Lightning none stopped trying to climb on him as he stood there looking at her. Every once in a while he will send small amounts of electricity to have her hair stand up and she will burst out laughing. The other kids seeing this got excited too and ran over to join her in trying to climb on Lightning.

Joe: "I see you got another one. You couldn't help yourself, could you? Hahaha!"

Dwayne: "Yea he came after me when I was out scouting and the first thing I thought of was Zapdos from P@#$%#$ so you know I had to tame it. Plus as a bonus, he came with 15 more hawks to join our team."
