Chapter 8: The Squirrel Who Killed the Monsters

Flare and Noel worked together to eliminate the giant monsters.

The remaining four giant monsters couldn't defeat Flare and Noel. Their power of cooperation was so strong.

Noel attacked directly. Meanwhile, Flare supported him from behind using arrows or daggers.

The giant monsters had difficulty countering the attacks as if they didn't have an opening.

In the end, Flare and Noel manage to kill all the monsters.

"Next, where are we going? Are we going to kill all the monsters here?"

Eagerly, Noel swung her big hammer. Thirsty to kill the monsters, Noel couldn't sit still.

Meanwhile, Flare was surprised. It was common for monsters to appear all at once like a group.

A thought crossed Flare's head that something must have happened.

"Risu, do you feel anything strange?"

Flare asked Risu. Risu must have known because she had a higher monster detector than Flare.

"Over there, I can feel something strange!"

Risu pointed straight into the forest. Flare then nodded her head.

"That's where Keris is. Are you guys going to keep looking for it? There might be more powerful monsters there."

Flare hoped Charu and Risu would not continue their journey. Flare would return the two gold coins to Charu.

Charu looked at Risu. She was deeply troubled by Flare's question. If there was another way to find the place of the Enchanted Forest, Charu chose not to continue the journey to find the Keris.

"We'll keep looking for it!"

Charu set his heart on retrieving the Keris. After all, Shion was the witch who knew about the Enchanted Forest. It's curious if other witches can know about it.

"Alright, Noel take this."

Flare threw a gold coin at Noel. It was payment for Noel helping Flare's mission.

"You don't have to pay me. You said there was a stronger monster. Just let me fight it!"

Noel returned the gold coin to Flare and patted his massive chest. Noel the muscle-brain, really wanted to kill monsters.

"Well, ladies. Let's eradicate all the monsters!"

Then, Noel took Charu and Risu into the forest with Flare following behind.

The worry was not lost on Flare. Luckily, she and Noel were able to kill the giant monsters. However, in the forest where the powerful monster was. Flare doubted that she could kill it.

With great apprehension, they entered the forest. Only Noel was excited and full of thirst to kill monsters.
