Chapter 12: Concerned

"You can stop following me now, you can go home." I say as we reach the stoplight Liddy stopped me at to stall time. "I… can't." I raise an eyebrow "Mind explaining why?" He decides to stay silent. "Look, my life isn't any better than it is at school at home, it's honestly probably worse, you should leave." He stays firm. This is probably going to end very badly, my mother normally wakes up around 7:00 my brother too, but today's his birthday I need to be home. He isn't going to show mercy when he's there and frankly, I'm not prepared too, more especially after what he's done to me and Liddy. "I'm heading home." I say demanding he remains there. "Be prepared then…" he says, he crosses the light just as it turns red, and slowly disappears from view. Today's events have given me a Headache and I'm pretty sure my wounds need to be retreated, so I walk back to the house, surprised by its emptiness. I assume from the houses non changing appearance that they left in a hurry, so around 3:00 when my brother gets home from high school. My mom on the other hand shouldn't be awake by now. I feel regret for making Vick leave, but all the same he probably would've returned to his normal state after seeing my houses uncleanliness. Although he was so insistent on leaving before, Why did he want to hang around with me after we had left then. I walk up the stairs into my bathroom to treat myself, I hurry along and saunter into my room flopping onto my bed. I sigh recounting every single strange thing. 1.Jackson actually hurt me, 2. I met a girl from my dream 3. Was assigned to tutor her and another that same day 4. Not once but twice Vick was caught 5. He was acting strange 6. I WAS ACTING STRANGE! I'm about to sigh but instead I drift off to sleep.
