Worshipper Arc. Chapter 5: Gods Roles.

Worshipper Arc: Chapter 5. God's Roles.

After Valoran and the others have finished the feast Valoran sent: Selina, Merial, Atticus and Biatrix home by opening four portals at the same time, each of them leading to their homes.

The next morning Valoran leaves earlier than Artemsia to ask for a pass of leave. "I'll get going now, the disciplinary committee should be at the academy by now" Valoran informs both Aelina and Artemsia.

"Have a great day at school" Aelina says energetically.

"I'll see you later" Artemsia says.

"Right. I'll see you later" Valoran replies.

Valoran leaves and teleports to the academy by using irum (teleportation magic) and within an instant he arrives at the academy early due to the disciplinary arriving early every day to patrol the school grounds and to deal with a mountain of paperwork.

Valoran enters the academy and walks through the long, empty and silent halls making his way to the disciplinary committee office.

After a little walk he arrives in front of the disciplinary committee's office and stands in front of the double door.

Knock. Knock

Valoran knocked twice on the door and within a few seconds a female voice answered him. "Enter" the female voice instructs.

Valoran opens the right side of the doubled door and enters the disciplinary office.

He then enters a ginormous room and is greeted by five individuals (three females and two males). Four out of five members sit at the giant long table doing paperwork and at the back of the room at a separate desk sits the head of the disciplinary committee, Alora Elsher (the beautiful elvish female with silver hair).

She welcomes Valoran "Welcome Valoran Silver. What brings you here this early?" Alora asks curiously.

Valoran makes his way toward the desk of Alora, eyes from the others following him closely.

Step…Step…Step…

He is now standing in front of Alora's desk who is looking up at Valoran.

"I am here to ask for a pass of leave. I have been informed that this is the place to request one" Valoran explains.

"Yes, you are correct. May I ask where you wish to go?" She questions with curiosity.

Valoran proceeds to answer "I wish to take my group to a place for educational and training purposes. I believe that's the purpose of these passes" he says with a smirk.

"Hmm… They are" She replies with also a smirk.

She opens the top draw and gets a pass. "You do know that it is not only my permission you need, but also your home room professor" Alora explains.

"Yes. I have been informed of that" Valoran replies

"Well, I can only grant a pass of leave to the ones that are able to protect their group and educate them on the topic they are missing out on. Never has a first-year student been granted a pass of leave. However, due to your great display of knowledge and power I will give you my permission" Alora states and stamps the pass with her emblem.

"Thank you, Miss Elsher. You have my word on the safety of my friends, I will destroy any threat before they realise that they are in danger" Valoran promises.

"Big words from you Valoran Silver" Alora utters.

"Words coming from me hold more weight than any other Miss Elsha" Valoran counters.

"Please call me Alora. Miss Elsha makes me sound almost too old" Alora states.

"Fine by me Alora I thank you for your assistance" Valoran says with gratitude as he takes the pass and makes his way to the class to ask for Professor Asparata's permission.

He arrives at his class with the door already being open and enters his class hall where Professor Asparata is preparing for the lesson.

"Professor Asparata. I need a favour if you don't mind" Valoran asks.

"What is it Valoran?" She asks with curiosity.

"I require your permission for this pass of leave" Valoran states holding out the pass.

"Where do you wish to go?" Professor Asparata questions.

"To visit someone, I have known for a very long time. Someone who can teach them how to defend themselves." Valoran replies.

"I do trust in your power to protect them. I do teach a very important lesson today however." Professor Asparata explains.

"Whatever it is, I will teach them. Please tell me what the lesson encompasses" Valoran questions.

"It's about the divine. Gods, Angels and the divine realm." She answers.

"I see. I know everything there is to know on that subject. Rest assured I'll educate them on that subject just fine" Valoran promises.

Professor Asparata thinks for a moment and ultimately agrees and stamps the pass. "Please don't make me regret it" She states.

"I will not. Your trust will be cherished" Valoran replies and makes his way outside the class hall.

He makes his way to the front gate to wait for the others.

After a couple of minutes and more and more students arriving at the academy walking through the front gate, Valoran's group (Atticus, Demonlise, Merial, Selina, Biatrix and Artemsia) arrive at the academy.

"Good morning" Merial expresses with energy.

"How do you have this much energy in the morning?" Biatrix asks yawning.

"Good morning to you all." Valoran replies.

"Morning" Atticus and Selina greet him with excitement for the day ahead.

"Did you get the pass?" Artemsia questions with anticipation.

"I did, we can go, now that we are all here" Valoran states.

"Where exactly would that be?" Atticus curiously asks.

"Somewhere where I trained years ago" Valoran replies.

"Really? Where my master has trained. I can't wait to see it for myself" Demonlise impatiently thinks to himself

"We should fly a little of the journey. It's a beautiful morning, the lovely blue morning sky has awakened my interest in flying and, I don't want you completely drained of stamina. You will need it where we are heading." Valoran states.

The others look confused and stare toward each other nervously at the comment Valoran just made.

"Let's get going." Valoran instructs.

With that Valoran and the others cast flug (flight magic) and begin to fly with Valoran in front leading the way.

They enjoy the morning breeze waving through their hair, people below them seem small and the view is gorgeous left and right. The only scenery that can be observed are beautiful forests and mountain ranges as far as the eye can see.

"Are we heading towards the forest?" Biatrix questions.

"We are." Valoran replies immediately.

"What possible reason could there be heading toward the forest?" Merial curiously asks.

"We are heading to the place where I mastered the art of unarmed combat and swordsmanship. It seems you don't grasp the importance of these two areas enough. You believe magic is superior, don't you?" Valoran asks the group.

The others don't say a word and stare curiously toward each other.

After a short while they fly over a ginormous mountain and descend on the other side.

They now stare directly at a large forest with trees of all sizes.

Valoran walks into the dense forest and the others follow closely.

As they are walking Valoran begins to lecture on the divine.

"Listen, all of you." Valoran instructs.

The others stop and pay him full attention.

"What is it?" Artemsia asks curiosity.

"I will teach you the subject of the divine. Please pay full attention, this is an important topic." Valoran states.

"The divine…?" Atticus asks.

"Yes, now then I'll begin" Valoran says and continues to walk deeper into the forest.

"Let's start with what Gods are and what their roles are" Valoran announces.

The others are now paying full attention…

"Gods are powerful, transcendental, conceptual beings that are the very reason everything exists, and none exists." Valoran lectures.

"What do you mean by that?" Selina questions.

"Gods are beings that maintain harmony across existence, if Gods wouldn't exist nothing can" Valoran explains.

"So… Gods are necessary to maintain all of existence?" Atticus asks curiously.

"Indeed. Let me give you an example. A time god represents the concept, the principal and the very idea of time. If a time God is destroyed it wouldn't disrupt the harmony of existence in the slightest.

However, if you kill countless time God's time would be in chaos, past, present and the future would all collide with one another across all of existence, picture a creature from the past who has been extinct millennia ago running loose in this era causing destruction." Valoran explains.

"What is the meaning of ideas?" Atticus asks.

"I'll use my previous example to answer that. Ideas are greater than principals and concepts. If I was to destroy the principals and concepts of time, as well as killing every time god in existence which would result time being thrown into chaos, the idea of time would remain" Valoran explains

"Or to give you another example, if I destroy your concepts and principles housed within your fragment, you would be deleted from existence. But, you would still be remembered. If I was to also destroy the idea of you Atticus also stored in your fragment then, you would be forgotten on top of being deleted from existence." Valoran explains.

"This sounds terrifying killing Gods I mean" Merial says.

"Don't worry Merial the chances of someone being able to even hurt a God are infinitesimal." Valoran states.

"How's that exactly?" Biatrix asks.

Valoran begins to answer her question.

"Well… for starters even the weakest among the Gods have displayed power which resulted in the destruction of endless universes"

After Valoran stated that everyone including Valoran looks disappointed and saddened, realising that Gods have killed countless innocent people.

After a few seconds of silence Valoran further lectures the others.

"Gods are eternal and immortal. If you destroy all their organs, delete them from existence, destroy their concept, principal and even the idea they represent they still won't die as they can regenerate.

Their fragments exist outside of existence only when you destroy their fragment can a god be slain and to do that you must be able to bypass the infinite barriers of resistances, immunities and nullifications which is nigh impossible, each barrier is endlessly more powerful than the previous." Valoran explains.

"That's only if you are able to interact with the Gods in the first place." Demonlise states.

"What do you imply by saying that Demonlise?" Merial questions facing Demonlise.

"Gods don't have a physical form, what you see is a mere aspect from the fragments they originate from, most beings can't affect Gods due to that fact, add to that that they are transcending the idea of dimensionality.

Finally, Gods are neither 0 and 1 (0 being nonexistence and 1 being existence) while simultaneously being 0 and 1 just like Valoran explained yesterday about himself" Demonlise shares.

"That doesn't make any logical sense" Biatrix states.

"Don't bother with associating Gods with logic just as myself, Gods transcend logic all together" Valoran replies.

"Gods are powerful warriors that have fought countless wars against titans and other beings, they are able to adapt to any threat within a few seconds building a complete immunity to any new abilities." Valoran explains.

The others are shocked to hear what kind of power the Gods possess.

"This sounds terrifying. What happens if a God attacks randomly?" Merial questions with horror.

Valoran, seeing Merial and the others with expressions dominated by fear, Valoran proceeds to reassure them. "Don't worry if any God wishes to cause death and destruction, they will have to go through me"

The others look and sigh with relief hearing Valoran say that.

"Now then let's continue shall we…Gods also exist in opposition for example a god of fire would never work together with a god of water as they represent the opposite: principal, concept and idea" Valoran explains

"Do all of these apply to Demonlise, Artemsia and you?" Atticus asks.

"It does but even greater, Demonlise has absorbed his father's fragment on top of his own and I granted him a small amount of nirvana making him one of the strongest Gods in existence. Artemsia also has nirvana in fused within herself, making her more powerful than almost any other God too." Valoran states.

"Oh, I understand." Merial utters.

"As with me… I also possess all the attributes I just described but even greater for example, Gods exist as long as the: idea, principal and concept they embody exists along with their fragment.

With me… it's more complex. I exist if any: idea, concept and principle remain, and my fragment exists beyond the idea of existence that not even gods can reach it, and if somehow by some miracle Gods are able to destroy my fragment and destroy all ideas, concepts and principles I still will not die. The only problem is the God King himself" Valoran explains.

"Who's that?" Selina asks with curiosity.

Artemsia begins to speak up and her expression changes to immediate fear.

"The most powerful of all the Gods, a being with so much power that all other Gods both fear and respect him, a being that killed millions of titans and defying Gods. His power is so great he snapped endless Megaverses out of existence" Artemsia reveals shaking out of fear dropping on the floor out of fear while breathing heavily.

Valoran helps her back on her feet. "Artemsia, I will never let anything happen to anyone not even the king of Gods frightens me" Valoran reassuring her.

Atticus, Biatrix, Selina and Merial look frightened to each other as well as they see Artemsia break down due to fear.

"It's unfortunate that Gods are corrupt and evil, but their existence is necessary in order for existence to exist." Valoran explains.

"So… what are angels?" Selina asks.

"Angels are the servants of the Gods but only serve a specific type of god, for example death angels only serve death gods. They have less power than the Gods but like I said before can wipe out entire cosmic sheets and are protected by divinity.

"Divinity…?" Atticus questions.

"A great power which can destroy all attacks including conceptual ones and boost offensive attacks" Valoran states.

"Finally, the divine realm is where all Gods come from and call home. A beyond endless realm that views existence as infinitesimal, it's inaccessible to beings bound by existence." Valoran explains.

During all the information Valoran has shared they come to realise that they have been walking so deep into the forest that nothing, but trees can be seen.

"Here they come…" Valoran states.

Hooded figures jump down from the tall trees surrounding Valoran and the others with swords pointed at them.

One of the figures pulls her hood back revealing an elvish female.

"It's been a while…" Valoran says.
