The Black Tiger seemed to have felt the looming threat coming straight at it as it continued to give out low threatening growls to warn Mirage to not approach any further.
Mirage had a cold smile on his face as he continued to disregard its futile resistance. He continued to walk towards it with a firm and steady pace.
The closer he got towards the beast the slower the frequency of its growls until it eventually turned into pitiful whimpers and sad cries.
Mirage saw right through its change and he couldn't help but let out a cold snort before saying.
"It's no use. You just have to sit still and let me end it quickly."
His eyes remained frosty and indifferent as he started to skillfully twirl the sharp bone dagger in his hands.
Contrary to Mirage's attitude, Bella couldn't be said to be as indifferent as him. Regardless of how she agreed to Mirage, she's nevertheless still a little girl that hadn't even entered her teenage years.
