Goosebumps

Jane felt goosebumps crept on her skin as she couldn't see the man's face clearly as he had a hat on his head. He was the only one seated as other people in the hall were standing and waiting to be attended too by the receptionist, the man sat like he didn't have anything important to do.

A new actor walked up to meet her, startling her intent gaze away from the weird looking man. She turned to face the new actor as they had met before during their auditioning for the first time, they had a shoot for the new movie.

"Hi.." Chris Melvin greeted her as she turned to face him, snapping her thought away from the direction she was staring at.

"Don't you remember me?" he asked her smiling at her.

"Oh, I remember you now," Jane said as she smiled sweetly to him in return and accept his hand for a handshake.

Norman sat staring at them and he stood up and left.

"Come let's go out and watch the crew, the shoot would soon start until in less than one hour now," He said.

"Why is that?," Jane questioned as she hadn't even done her makeup when she got the emergency text that their shoot will soon start.

"Well I heard the overall general manager is around, I mean the bosses of all boss here, the real owner is around so we have been given a break to rehearse properly as he will like to watch to shoot," Chris Melvin explained to her.

"Oh, I see" Jane replied him sounding nervous. She turned to stare at the direction where she saw the man seated with a hat before, but he was no longer there as he had left the room.

"Looking for someone?," Chris asked her again, seeing she was staring at the visitors seat.

"huh, no, I was just looking around," Jane quickly denied as she followed him and went out to the cafeteria, they ordered for some food and ate in silence watching the remaining crew.

Jane was quiet all thru until her personal assistant came in to call her to come over for her own makeup as the make-up artist was thru with Becky's makeover.

"Miss Jane, you are needed for your makeover," Her assistant called out to her as she waved her hands up and rushed up to meet Jane where she sat eating her meal with Chris seated beside her.

"Oh, am thru," Jane stood up and turn to look at Chris, "We will see later right?."

"Yeah, can I have you contact at least?," Chris immediately asked, as he brought out his phone and handed it over to her.

He couldn't get her off his mind since the very day he saw her, he was a thirty years old guy and he admired her from the very first moment he sighted her.

"Oh, that's fine," Jane collected his phone and type her number. She brought out her card number containing her private phone number and gave it to him, "We will see later in the shooting," she said to him as she walked away with her assistant Alicia.

Chris smiled sweetly as he held her card while Jane left him and walked back into the hall going upstairs for her own makeup.

She was walking with Alicia by her side when she crossed paths with the man on hat again. His demeanor aura was chilling as she walked past him, she stiffened and almost fell off as she felt chill ran down her spine but he quickly caught her as she missed some steps.

"Easy young woman you should watch your steps, carefully next time" Norman said to her as he stood her back, and she smiled faintly and thanked him and her assistant bowed her head in appreciation.

"Thank you," Jane said, but the man didn't wait for her appreciation, he had already walked away ahead of her.

Jane swallowed as she stared at him and watched him going up the stairs while they followed suit from behind him, reaching the second floor, Jane turned and walked into the make up room, while Norman continued with the stairs going up to the third floor.

Jane couldn't concentrate on her shooting, she kept wandering whom the man was that had caught her. She felt like he's like a killer that has been hired to attack her or someone in the company.

Fear gripped her as she grew nervous knowing her father was into an illegal business, maybe he was one of her father's enemy that has been paid to attack her.

She wasn't able to concentrate and when it was time for her acting, she made so many mistakes in her role to the point the director of photographer DOP kept shouting at her, she made so much mistakes stammering as she was very nervous and afraid, she ended up taking permission to exit thinking she will be fired or replaced.

"Are you just acting for the first time Miss Jane Kones?," The Director questioned as he was already pissed off with her stammering and acting skills.

Jane bit her lower lips as she knew she was the one delaying the shoot, "Maybe we should get a replacement, how about we discuss this with the team, she isn't as good as advertised," said one of the directors.

"Hmm, we can't change character now, maybe we should try shooting this particular scene again," said Mr Henry, "Jane I will like you to inhale and exhale anything that his bothering your mind out," he advised nicely to her, knowing the big boss was around the crew watching, even though he didn't know who the big boss really was.

Jane stood up back and got ready for action, when she heard him command action, she started acting, and after the shoot was over, she quickly took her bag and left the company not waiting for any more delay. Norman saw her acting skills and wonder why she was nervous, he frowned as he sat among the respectable members that came to watch the shoot. He smiled to himself as he remembered how soft and warm her body felt, it ignited his soul and he wanted to feel more of her heat and passion.

He stood up and left with the managing director to discuss some other business with him, together with the acting skills of the new actors

After Norman was thru in the company he called Peter to reschedule a date with Jane for him, over the weekend, Peter frowned knowing his boss has never gone on a date with any woman, he swallowed what he wanted to say and agreed to fix the blind date.

Jane got back home and she was so tensed, she had no one to talk to about her new work as Ashley was still in Dave's custody, she had thought Ashley will return back home, but her father said Ashley will return by the weekend, She went to take a quick shower to freshen up, obviously no one in the company knew whom her father was, she thought, After taking her bathe and joining her father for dinner, she retired back to her room.

When she walked up to her pick up her phone, she saw a message from an anonymous person asking her for her acceptance to go on a blind date with him, at first she had thought he was Chris, the new actor whom collected her contact info, but it dawn on her that the person wasn't Chris, so she finally accepted to go on the date with the anonymous person the following evening after their shoot.

Mr Dot Kones, was never against Jane decision to become an actress. He allowed her do whatever she likes same as he allowed Ashley do whatever makes her happy, not until she refused the topic of marriage, he decided to use force, else she was ready to remain single for the rest of her life.

Jane wanted to inform her father about her new job, but her father had gone out to one of his business meeting. She left home and went to the Silver's entertainment house in her small car the following day. Parking her car, she came down and went to the location of their new shoot as she has been sent location of where the next shoot will take place.

She did so well In her acting as the second leading actress, as there wasn't any flaws and the directors ended up praising her unlike the previous day.. After the shoot was over she walked up to meet Chris as he waved over to her.

"Hi, good evening," Jane greeted him first.

"Hi pretty," Chris responded.

"I saw how you acted so smooth and flawless today, unlike yesterday, seems you were nervous yesterday," He said.

"Yeah, kind off," Jane smiled at him,"You acted so well too," She praised him.

"Thanks" he replied her smiling

"So we will be meeting again this evening?," Jane used style to ask him to know if he was the one that requested for the blind date with her.

"About what?," Chris asked her and her jaw dropped.

"Hun! Ain't you the one who sent me a private message for us to meet, oh I forgot you said it a blind date, but since we have met, we can discuss about it," She said.

"Wait, wait, I don't understand you," Chris stopped her, "Like which date are you talking about, I didn't send you any message, so what are you trying to say?," He asked her again sounding serious.

"Oh! You mean you ain't the one who sent me the message?," Jane asked him as she stared at his face.

"No.. I didn't" Chris replied. "Can I even see the message, or ain't you with your phone?," he asked her.

"Sure," Jane quickly brought out her phone and showed him the message. He laughed out, "Maybe is one of your crushers that sent you this text not from me," Chris said smiling as he handed her back her phone.

"Really, I had thought is from you," Jane said as she had already accepted it.

He smiled at her, "Obviously not, I was planning to call you but I don't want it to look like am too forward with you," Chris explained

"Oh, thanks then, nevermind I will just have to find out who sent it," Jane responded with a faint smile on her pretty face.

"So does that mean you will still be attending the date?" Chris questioned as his knuckles tightened into fist.

"Yes, I have already accepted it and the place for the hookup isn't a dangerous place as I have been there before," Jane said.

"Hmm.. okay," Chris shrugged his shoulders as he escorted her back to her car. Jane thanked him and waved him bye, then she left the shooting venue and went back to the company to sign-out first, that she's thru for the day. Just as she walked into the Silver's Entertainment house she bumped into someone again.
