Later that evening, Zac and Amy ate pizza together in their small apartment while he had already sent messages to the 4 contacts he had gotten from Money Stylists in Walney.
After eating with Amy, he watched her go to sleep, but he was too anxious to do the same. He kept fiddling with his smartphone, sometimes reading Sean's messages through the spy program he had put on the guy's smartphone, sometimes reading local news.
That way, Zac came across the news about the explosion in a secret lab earlier that had killed two people and led to the arrest of two others.
He felt no guilt for the deaths he had caused. These people were doing terrible things for money, producing dr*gs in an unprepared environment. How many people had that laboratory not sent to the hospital or to the morgue?
Zac thought that once someone became a criminal, they could no longer be considered innocent. Dying amid their activities was just an expected consequence!
