Knock-Knock…
Vincent knocked on the door.
“Come in,” Oscar’s voice came out across from the door almost immediately.
Vincent pushed open the door and went in, “Good evening, Mr. Griffin. How can I help you?”
Oscar motioned for him to sit on a chair opposite him. But he stood up and went towards the French window that was open to the backyard. Vincent’s gaze wandered between Oscar and the chair. He couldn't decide whether or not he should sit. After a brief moment of uncertainty, he sat down in the chair, his gaze fixated on Oscar's back.
Oscar kept his eye on the backyard. "Have you found anything on Samuel?" he asked after a while.
Vincent was kind of surprised. He assumed Oscar wanted to talk about the new plant that would be set up in Adders Field. But he asked about Samuel.
Vincent’s brow creased as he replied, “Not much. I am following him. You will learn everything about him shortly.”
