At her remarks, Nikolai grinned heartily and once more closed his eyes. "You're quite fascinating."

Ophelia smiled, but as she was about to speak, her golden eyes shone brightly. "Oh no!" 

As soon as she stood up from him, Nikolai's eyes suddenly opened, and as soon, dark mist erupted from him, triggering a sharp burn in his crimson eyes. He then sprang up after her.

"No, I want you to hide; I don't want you to fight anyone." In an attempt to calm him down, Ophelia told him in a calm and composed manner.

Nikolai just stared at her as though she had lost her mind. "Hide?!" 

"Trust me." Ophelia groaned at him, begging, "Please." 

Nikolai scowled bitterly. "Ridiculous." Then he was entirely enveloped by his mist and disappeared from view.
