Chapter 25 : Party High

After my ‘date’ with Andre, I decided to take a self-care day. I peppered in work through long breaks since I did owe him a bundle of chapters by the end of the week, but other than that, it was a day of relaxation.

I was extremely relieved that my feelings for my matches weren’t just spur of the moment things or minute attractions, but rather, something real.

Of course, I still had four people to choose from, but I felt infinitely more at ease with eventually choosing someone than before.

That’s why I was in the tub, taking a nice soak while I took a call—or rather called someone.

“Hi, Luna. How have you been?” I asked carefully, knowing the other was going through it.

Not only had she gave me two botched matches, but she was also in the process of overhauling the matching system in the face of me having to stare my ex-boyfriend and boss down.

I don’t think I’d ever get over either of them. I was traumatized.
