Chapter-154
AMALTHEA'S POV
"So that's what happened," I completed my story as I told Lady Cera about everything that happened in the pack and my family after she was kidnapped.
I looked at Lady Cera from the rearview mirror when she didn't say anything for good seconds.
"Can- Can I ask you a question, little Amal?" Lady Cera asked, and I hummed.
"Why didn't anyone look for me all these years? I understand that Thea died that day, but no one thought about me for so long?" Lady Cera asked, and I pressed my lips into a thin line.
Honestly, I didn't want to break her heart like this. Judging from how quiet she has gone compared to how I met her two hours ago, I don't think she was taking all these things very positively.
"It's nothing," I said and was about to ask Throb to pull over at the next gas station so we could grab something to eat when Lady Cera spoke again.
"There's something you are not telling me," she said, and I sighed.
