06 His Love
Seeing Sasori fight and reflecting on his crude fighting towards the end of the seventh floor he calmed down. On the eighth floor he started perfecting his form. The ninth floor he started to dodge attacks. On the tenth floor he stopped his wasted movements. The clinging noises from the goblin attacks on his armor were drastically reduced compared to before. Without worrying about getting hurt his focus increased. They weren't fast nor were they strong but with three to four goblins attacking you from different positions you still had to react and dodge. It looked a little silly seeing a full armored lionkin dodging harmless attacks. Mid way through the tenth floor Lenly started to gasp for air. Sasori who was still aroused reached out to touch Aego's hand. Looking at Sasori her rosy cheek was still alluring with her hand on her stomach and a cute expression I'm hungry. Nodding his head in agreement Sasori took the lead.
With her taking the charge they sped to the end of the floor slowing down, alarmed Lenly as he looked back at the giant mob still following. Aego who stopped at the exit entrance with his right hand raised chest high. As the mob neared magical circle formations appeared on the ground. Nervous Lenly gripped his axe, Aego with his calm gaze pin pointing a location he whispered Explosion at the center of the mob a sprouting dome of fire slowly grew engulfing the mob disintegrating those at the center and charring those further out.
Jaw dropped Lenly stared in disbelief. Sasori seeing Lenly's reaction found it amusing smiling she waited for Aego. Walking over Aego saw Lenly who stared at him. Lenly stuttering Level 6 magician followed Aego. Pulling out his dimension box he pulled out a table,chairs,bowls, silverware, a magic cooking pot, meat, vegetables, and various spices. Sitting down Sasori continued to wait as Lenly continued to stare in disbelief. Looking at the two odd balls who would actually cook a warm meal during a dungeon raid.
Soon an aroma entered Lenly's nose causing his mouth to water. Aego who looked around saw that Lenly was still wearing his armor "Are you not taking it off?" Lenly who had only heard of the armor had no clue as to how to take it off so embarrassed he replied don't know how. Chant this spell, following the chant the armor started to soften and turned back to black ooze that covered his body which soon began to move to his hands forming the pendant.
Aego who came to a sudden realization "Ah I forgot to mention that". Sasori who was looking at Lenly turned her head away casually. Lenly who was looking at the pendant in his hand slowly followed his arm down to his chest that was now bare. Upon realizing he was nude he quickly covered himself dropping the axe in his hand he looked at Aego and turning his head to see Sasori's head turning away. His face blushing red as his wife and mother were the only two women to see him naked. With no where to hide he stood there frozen like a statue. Aego who had turned away to stir the pot turned back seeing Lenly he smiled slightly as he found his posture comedic.
Pulling out of his dimension box a black shirt and short that seemed way to small for a lionkins robust physique. Aego tossed it to Lenly. Without hesitation and speed he never thought possible he put on the short and shirt that fit perfectly with his size. After a few minutes of standing around in the same spot Lenly walked over and sat beside Sasori. Did you see? See what? Learning from before never mind then.
Aego who just finished cooking brought the pot over to the table serving Sasori the first scoop, Lenly the second scoop and finally severing himself last. Sasori who quickly blew on the soup took a bite enjoying the savory broth, chewing on the tender meat that broke apart easily, and the soft vegetables. Running and fighting an entire afternoon had her famished without any grace she ate heartily. Lenly who was confused seeing Aego the master serving his slave, who also waited for her to eat first before he even touched his soup. Lenly just thought he treated her well as he was a former slave, but the role as master and slave being reversed puzzled him.
Aego who had observed Lenly answered him it's a title to protect her. Even more confused Lenly stared at Aego a slave brand used as a title? As he thought to himself Aego responded "There are different grades of slave brands hence different markings. Mine is unique only I'm capable of such a brand. Anyone with knowledge would recognize the brand as mine." Nodding that he understood he took his first bite the broth the meat the vegetables all the flavor came crashing in his mouth making him dumbfounded yet again. Bite after bite Lenly felt even more helpless how was he gonna go back and eat food his wife cooked. Going for seconds he found it empty looking at Sasori who was like a food addict swallow her food disappointed upon seeing an empty pot she looked towards Aego with a sad expression causing Lenly to feel guilty he had some of the soup.
Aego who looked at Sasori brought up his spoon full of soup Sasori seeing his intention quickly moved to take a bite with a smile plastered on her face unable to hide even if she wanted to. Lenly who was to the side could only think a doting master. Aego who was still eating told Sasori to go stand guard. Lenly having seen the gaze he gave Sasori as she ate the spoon he could only assume he loves her. Confirming his thought he asked "You love her?" "Can't I?" "She's a slave even you a free halfling could do better."
Only one other person has felt sad for me, only one other person cried for me, and only one other person would get hurt for me. So if I found another person wouldn't I be stupid to not love her because she's a slave.
