Nefretiri
"Fucking bastard," Vince growls, taking a step toward the other wolf. "You caused all this?"
"Is it really that shocking?" He asked, cocking his head to the side.
"We trusted you!" If you had asked me a minute ago, I would've said Adam couldn't be the traitor, but as I stare at him, I can't help thinking back on everything that's happened since I got here.
He's made everything feel so natural you wouldn't question him, but that only made this worse. It'd been Adam who told me about the risk of a challenge. When the pack started turning against me, Adam told me he'd try to help by talking to them. That he'd have my back with everything going on. He always smiled when he saw me and even took an interest in how much I'd learned. Then, when we'd invited the neighboring packs, he'd volunteered to deal with Fletcher's pack. But, gods, he'd been waving his true colors at everyone, and no one had wanted to see it.
