The Lost Hopes (Volume I)

26 December 2014, Lombard Street (San Francisco), had a peaceful weather with cold breeze flowing down to the street. Among the busy streets there lived Sir Anthony.

He was having a regular cup of coffee while sitting in his balcony. Looking at the trees and the beauty

Sir Anthony was a respected bank manager scale III at Union Bank of California. He had a beautiful family of his 9 years old son Alex, wife named as Alice and himself. They all were perfect for each other. Sir Anthony used to go to bank daily and work 10am to 8pm.

His life was going in a pretty peaceful way. As usual on 3rd January 2015, he packs his stuffs and gets ready to leave when suddenly his colleague stops him, " Sorry to interrupt you sir Anthony but we got a letter from Regional Office for you. " says the colleague and hands it to him. Anthony opens it and figures out it was a letter of promotion to scale IV. For a bank manager promotion means a transfer notice too. This transfer notice was going to change the life of little Alex completely.

Anthony reached home and knocked the door with letter in one hand.

Alex opens the door and sees his dad. " Paaaaaa.... why are you so late today? I was waiting for you since 7pm you know..." said Alex after opening the door and hugged him tightly. " Oh dear, I got some important work today which stretched my time to little extent. " said Anthony and starts finding for Alice. Following the delicious aroma coming from kitchen and he found her in no time. Hugging her tightly form behind, he said

"Alice that's a nice smell coming through it, what are you making for dinner?" Alice blushed and said if a faint voice, "Stop.. Alex is around. Go sit on the table for hot chicken curry to be served."

Anthony tells his wife about the letter of promotion and transfer as well.

They had to shift to shift to San Diego with Alex.

Anthony finds a perfect residency to stay with his family at Glover Residency. Alex starts getting comfortable with the new place exploring and looking through things. He starts going to Cambridge high school, San Diego. It was his first day at school. Everything starts going in a pretty normal way. Unfortunately, as Alex was a new admission he wasn't able to purchase books at earliest. So at school he shares the text-book with one girl named as Clara. Some how the day ends and Alex gets back home. He changes the clothes and out of the blue the doorbell rings. "Mom can you open the door? Am busy right now." Says Alex to his mom. Alice opens the door and sees strange people. It was just two days since they got shifted and she was shocked by the new visitors. The visitors said they were just curious to see who the new neighbors are and hence decided to make a visit.

In no time Alex reaches door and gets to know what's happening around.

He greets the neighbors and saw his class mate Clara among them. He was shook completely.
