Albus Dumbledore sat in his office as he waited for all the teachers to arrive for the routine meeting that Albus had every year near Halloween to learn if there were any problems with any students and also to find out about any exceptional students, as he didn't have the time to personally visit the classes due to his three extremely time consuming jobs.

As all the teachers settled, Albus asked, " so is there any problem with any students? "

Minerva replied, " yes, Albus I want you to have a word with the Weasley twins, their mischief is getting out of hand. " Albus agreed to have a word with them though his eyes were twinkling thinking about all the mischief caused by them.

" How are all the first years settling in? " Albus asked the four heads of houses.

" Everyone is settling in nicely in Gryffindor, but I don't think Ron Weasley is going to pass his first year if doesn't buckle down on his studies, the boy is an idiot with atrocious habits and poor study habits, " Minerva replied.

"Everyone is settling in fine in Ravenclaw, " Filius answered.

"Everything is ok with the first years in Hufflepuff, some of them were feeling homesick but they have adjusted to Hogwarts by now, " Pomona replied.

" All my slytherins are well but Crabbe and Goyle are as dumb as rocks, " Severus replied.

Satisfied with their answers Albus asked, " so, do we have any exceptional students this year? "

Filius replied, " yes, Albus one of my Ravenclaw's

Mr. Potter is brilliant in charms, he is just as talented as his mother, I have him working on advanced material in my classes. "

Minerva replied, " Miss Granger is also a good student but Mr. Potter is exceptional in transfiguration, he is even more talented than his father, he has an instinctual grasp of his magic he has managed to perform all his spells non verbally and look at what he managed to do in his first transfiguration class she said passing to Albus the pins in the form of the house mascots which she had taken to carrying with her with pride .
