The last chance!

"No. Xiao Hui. There are no misunderstandings between us. This is wrong. He never hurt me intentionally."

Wang Yue rebuked with fire in her eyes.

"DON'T LIE, WANG YUE! Does he ever speak with you? Has he forgotten you for separating him from his best friend? Has he not punished you for putting fire in his late mother's house? Has he cared about you when you fell seriously ill and went for office work and did he come to you on your first night?"

Xiao Hui again stepped in front to get close to her but she made a way to get away from him that made him berate her more.

"Do you even know what he does in his office because we all seriously don't know what he does since he took over grandfather's old company when father was asking him to join Xiao businesses under his wings? You just know where his office is but have you ever seen his desk or meeting room?"

The words that came out of Xiao Hui's mouth were not at all false but still, they felt so incorrect to her heart. Even though her husband hid everything, what Xiao Hui told suddenly started to fill wrong and all her eyes saw the loving face of her husband.

Even though she never wanted to have any relationship with him again she could never think wrong of him. And when those words came out of another person's mouth they felt wronged.

Xiao Hui shouted very hard at Wang Yue with rage she had never seen on his face. He asked all the questions but immediately softened when he looked at the scared Wang Yue.

She was thinking about something in her mind and her face looked so pale that for a second he felt she lost all the blood in her body.

The wrong words he said broke her heart all over again and her eyes filled with sorrow... The sorrow he saw in her eyes that he never wanted to see.

"Sweetheart! Don't be scared. I am not like the big brother who doesn't care about you. I love you more than myself and I can do anything for you. I won't hurt you ever and this is my promise to you."

Xiao Hui kept on smiling like a stupid person and his hand raised in the air to touch Wang Yue's cheek. But Wang Yue immediately moved back from him. That enraged him more and his eyes darkened more.

"Consider yourself free from this unwanted relationship forever. Now, even if my grandfather will emotionally blackmail you to be in this relationship, he won't be able to do anything. You will have the freedom to marry me."

He said with a smile and tears in his eyes but Wang Yue was still Xiao Muchen's wife and in love with Xiao Muchen and thinking about Xiao Hui's feelings disgusted her more.

"Xiao Hui, why are you talking like this? I do not understand you at all and what do you mean by avenging him? What are you trying to do with him? Do you hate your brother so much?"

She asked with the softest voice she could use on Xiao Hui to know what he was talking about.

"Wang Yue, don't worry I asked my people to fix the brakes in my big brother's car. He just signed the papers and left to come home but unfortunately, he won't be able to make it home and if he won't make it alive, how will grandfather tie you into this relationship?"

Xiao Hui said and almost held her wrist again but getting out of his clutch, Wang Yue ran out of the home and ran towards her security when she got held by them.

"This all security belonged to me. I just changed them all slowly a few days back. You know I wanted to protect you all by myself. I never trusted big brother for his care and protection...Just so you know it."

Xiao Hui said, smiling smugly.

"You bastard, Xiao Hui, are you even a human? You are doing this with your brother's wife. Don't you have any shame?"

"No, I don't because you always belonged to me. I fell in love with you and my brother never loved you but still, he got you. How is that fair?"

"Yes, it wasn't fair but it wasn't fair with your brother not with me. It was I who created all the problems for him. It was my fault, only my fault."

"No, it wasn't your fault. It was he who was always responsible for this. He always uses his innocent face to make everyone fall for him and get everything that he wants."

"Oh, Xiao Hui, how much do you hate him? He is your brother, not your enemy."

Wang Yue then held his collar and punched his face till the blood started to come out like a stream but not even once did Xiao Hui retaliate back.

He just let Wang Yue hit him hard and smile all the time. And when she got tired of hitting him, she pushed him hard that landed him on the ground.

Seeing Xiao Hui on the ground Wang Yue ran to her favourite sports car in the garage. She looked inside the car and put her thumb to unlock the car in an instant.

She sat inside the car as fast as the wind and gave life to the engine with her thumbprint. The car started without making a single noise exactly of her liking.

The car was specifically custom-made for her as a wedding gift from Xiao Muchen on their first wedding anniversary because she always loved to drive a sports car and bike.

"Wang Yue, there is no way you can save him now. He is already sitting in that car and coming near the end of his life."

Xiao Hui got up from the ground and went to the car.

"Just come back to me because I am your future not him. He already signed those divorce papers in the office. Now even if you save him, he will never take you back."

Xiao Hui stood in front of the car. Today he was ready to make her understand what he felt. But to his bad luck, she knew him best to not listen to him.

"Then I will let him do that. Do you understand me? I will go away from his life forever to never come back and it will be my blessing for him to get back his true love for eternity."

Her foot was on the accelerator, eyes emitting fire and then she said the words she meant.

"Because I love him and I always want to see happiness in his eyes. I always wanted his love for me, not hate."

"But destiny doesn't work as we wish, Wang Yue. You will never get his love in this life."

"Then so be it. I don't want to see his love for me in this life. I will not ask him to love me if he doesn't. Now move away otherwise I will make sure this will be your last day of life."

She accelerated her car and Xiao Hui moved out of her way fast. She looked at the gate that was locked and took the car as fast as possible and crashed into the security door, almost breaking the wooden door. She came out of the mansion.

She brought her car to the highway where Xiao Muchen's everyday route of travelling was.

"Wang Yue, you ran out of the house without your phone. How idiot can you be? Oh, God. I hope that fucking Muchen is not in that car. Fucking Yue, drive fast."

She cursed herself an nth time while hitting the accelerator but then she heard the loud ambulance sound from behind.

"Are they going to him… is he okay? No, no. He is okay. Yue, stop thinking. He is okay. Hey, police… police are there."

As she saw the police officers there, she turned her car and stood in front of them. Asking them for the phone, she soon dialled Xiao Muchen's phone.

"Hello, Xiao Muchen. Hello! Where are you?" He asked before she could hear the voice from another side.

"Hello! Is this XiaoWang ma'am!"

"Hi, Daisy! Where is Xiao sir? His life is in danger. Get help. Stop him in the office."

"But ma'am, he already left the office ten minutes back. He even asked his driver not to drive him today, so we won't be able to reach him until he comes back home. But ma'am, what is the problem? I can help..."

Daisy wanted to speak but before she could offer help, Wang Yue cut the call.

All her life when she loved, she only loved one person and at the same time she hated that person the most but when she saw that person's end in front of her eyes everything felt meaningless.

How she loved to see that face every day, every hour even when he showed no emotions toward her.

She did every attempt to win his heart but nothing seemed to change the stone heart so she thought to go away from him forever but only to free him from this unwanted marriage. She wanted to free him to live his life the way he always wanted.

Maybe it was her love for him or maybe it was her hate, even though she didn't know what it was but now when she saw that kind of separation, why her heart thumped so hard as if it would come out of her chest anytime soon?

She gave the phone back to the police and asked them to take note of the vehicle number to get their help. While telling them when her gaze went to the road she saw Xiao Muchen's car going in front of her eyes. She ran towards her car and sitting inside it, she gave the engine life.

Her racing car always sped up within seconds and soon she reached Xiao Muchen's car. They looked at each other through the window and Wang Yue shouted at Xiao Muchen at the top of her voice.

"Try to slow the car, Xiao Muchen. Brakes have failed, Xiao Hui tampered with them."

But then his expressionless face gave her the smile for the first time in her married life which made Wang Yue thunderstruck. Then the words he said in a silent voice tugged Wang Yue's heart to break the string forever.

"YUE, You came for me?"
