Every book written by ancestors always mentioned werewolves and how they must never go alone. tw - violence - vulgarities filled with romance and fantasy. this is based on imagination. none of these are real:) enjoy the book and check my other works out in the process if you did enjoy this book. however if you didn't enjoy it comment why and I would take it in and make a book of your desire:)

The woods

Upon reaching home, I instantly started packing up. I laid down on the bed exhausted while staring at the ceiling.

"Here." Edward turned on some jazz music through a record player.

"Thanks." I smiled.

He stared at my bag,"it looks like you packed really little." He remarked.

"More than enough." I sighed.

"Food? Water?" He questioned as he sat next to me with a bowl of popcorn.

"We are going to the woods. Its all there." I turned my head to stare at him.

"Popcorn?" He offered.

I took a handful,"Thanks."

He left the room to give me some time to rest. I couldn't tell you how happy I was as I heard his footsteps fade away.

I laid there staring at the wall while fidgeting with my ring. It was mother's and father's marriage ring. I loved them with all my heart. I still think about the day I watch them leave. I remember holding mother's body after her death, scattering away with their ring so as not to be seen.

That day was indeed engraved into my mind. She was killed by werewolf hunters known as the silver hunters. Yes, it is known that silver hurts us badly but that was wrong. A certain herb was used in a bullet. Wolf's bane. It could kill us instantly at a certain intensity. I hated it. I feared it.

I soon fell asleep while thinking back on the times I had with mother and father. I missed them. That day was the last day I made a emotional connection with anyone. It would only make me weak. I woke up to the sounds of growling. I jumped out of bed.

What was that noise?

I open my hand violently, exposing my claws. My senses were activated. It smelled familiar, but its growls made me more alert protective of my territory

I went towards the sound of the growl. I stepped an inch closer to the door and slowly opened it hoping that my claw wouldn't scratch the door.

The landlord wasn't the best.

I opened the door to only see my Luna and Jackson laughing at me.

"Oh would u fuck off. If my claws scratched anything part of the house I will be screwed." I scolded as I walked away.

They rolled their luggages in. Today was their moving day. We planned to go camping at the same time so they didn't have unpack too much.

"Could we stop by to the dollar store before actually leaving." They laid down their luggage in the guest room that we prepared for them.

"Why?" I asked,"I'm kind of lazy so...why?"

They opened their luggage and pointed to it.

"Why?" They taunted.

I turned to look at their half empty luggages.

"Where in the stupid brain did half your clothes go?" I asked them hoping to know what happened to their useless brain again. Why were they always in some sort of trouble?4

"Our parents shredded it. I mean they have lost their minds after knowing that we can heal any wounds within seconds." Jackson complained.

"I'm not going to ask for more details because I think I know every detail that I need to know now. And yes you can drop by the dollar store. Just, be quick." I shook my head before leaving to get my bags ready. I never liked to hang around the city area especially with these two, Luna and Jackson. They take forever.

As I placed my bags in the caravan, I sat in it waiting for my friends who were taking their own sweet time. I really wanted to go to the woods. It was pissing me off to see them slowly walk towards the van.

I growled at them, threatening for a fight if they did not hurry up.

"You know, I do wonder what went wrong with you. It is known in the ancestral books that if you have at least one or two humans in your family history, you would have a human like heart. Yet you still act like a cold hearted wolf. Worse than a wolf honestly." Edward complained as he dragged Luna and Jackson along so as to keep me satisfied.

"I don't know, but at least I do know I am still not failing law school unlike you." I sneered before getting the car ready for a good drive or not. It wasn't alone so I didn't think that I would actually enjoy it.

We made a short trip to the dollar store. The trip was so quiet. I genuinely did not expect total silence from them. I peeked at the rear mirror only to see them on their phones. No wonder it was so quiet. It made sense now. Luna and Jackson bought some extra clothes and daily necessities and we drove off without speaking a word.

Suddenly I smelled a wolf scent. An unfamiliar wolf scent. It smelled weird as the car got closer, as if I knew him. However of course, I doubted that I knew him. I had no more family members. The only wolves I knew were here with me. I turned around to see it constantly follow us closely. I turned right hoping to go by another lane to escape from the white mini van.

I tapped my finger on the wheel.'tap tap tap.' ('Check it out') quietly asking if what I saw was true. It was our secret code.

To my horror, I was replied by Luna 'tap'('seen'). I turned left onto a new lane before taking a u-turn.

'Tap tap tap tap tap.', I heard from afar. It was from the white mini van.

'Tap tap tap', I tapped on my wheel again to ensure that I did not here the five random taps out of pure fear.

'Tap'('heard') I was replied by Jackson.

I stayed as calm as I could. I tried not to think about my family's incident. I took a peaked at the mini van's plate number. I tried my very best to control my breathing. I must not panic now. We were on the road.

Sil0027W

It was a custom plate number. Sil stood for silver. W stood for wolfsbane. The numbers just to identify which car this was. I suspected that it was their 27th car.

"We should go left yes?" I pointed to the left hoping that the hunters would see it.

"Yes." Edward replied.

I nodded before turning left. I knew that the hunters would think that we were tricking them and go right instead.

I was right.

We drove away after losing them.

"Do you hear that?" I asked softly.

"Yes." All of my friends replied instantly.

A loud ringing pitch hurt our ears. Mother never got to teach me how to use my supernatural powers. She didn't get enough time. I tried to ignore the sound but I couldn't handle it.

I let go of the wheel to cover my ears. Edward caught the wheel and pulled me out of my seat to take over. Using one hand to drive, he placed some ear plugs into my hands.

He knew that something like this would happen. He was always prepared. I stuffed the plugs into my ear in an instant.

"Dog whistle." I sighed.

Luna nodded.

"Hate those."Jackson complained.

We could still hear the whistle however the plugs helped it subside.

"We aren't dogs you know. They really have to learn their animals."Edward sighed before taking a turn into my private reserve. It was a land given to me from my parents. It was the last few things I had from them.

"Here we are." I sighed with relieve.

I locked the doors and windows before turning towards my friends.

We were not alone. I heard several quick agile footsteps. It didn't sound like it came from a pure human. I also heard guns being fixed up, ready to be used. Well, that was definitely a human.

I tapped my feet twice and on the third tap, we got ready to drive off. Edward pressed onto the accelerator for dear life. We swerved from left to right trying to make sure not to be aimed at a perfect shot.

We secured our items to ensure we don't have everything scattered all over the place. Our eyes turned from brown and blue to red except for Luna and Jackson whose brown eyes turned blue. They were turned from a bite so they were weaker or what others called, lone wolves. They would not be in this situation had the wolf who turned them accepted them into their pack. However, Edward and I were turned from birth. We had a pack and still remains in our pack even though they were dead. We hid our scent as best we can to appear as frightened humans.

We tried to keep our focus. We mustn't lose our focus.

"What in the shithole is happening?" Jackson mouthed.

"We are being hunted." I mouthed stating the obvious.

"Oh wow thanks I didn't know." He mouthed, rolling his eyes.

" I bullet-proofed the windows so hopefully we would be fine," I mouthed again.

We held onto the handles for dear life. We were more alert than ever. I did not know why were we suddenly hunted. How did anyone know that we were even werewolves?

"Did someone tell these bitches that we were going camping?" Jackson mouthed in fear.

"The question is did someone leak that we're werewolves?" Luna mouthed again.

At that moment we were shocked. Someone must have leaked that we are werewolves but who? Well, for what I knew, we would not tell these hunters that we we are indeed werewolves to be hunted just like that.

My phone started to vibrate. I picked it is only to see an unknown caller.

I showed it to my friends.

"Answer it." Edward turned around and mouthed.

I nodded, placing it on speakerphone, I answered,"hello?"

"Well hello darling," a voice called, I could hear the same voice speaking the same words from behind our caravan.

"Who are you?" I questioned.

"Just an old friend of yours. Oh don't tell me forgot. Anyways, how mom and dad?" The female voice chuckled.

"They are doing fine at home. Why?" I asked deciding to act dumb.

"Acting stupid. Smart girl. Smarter than her own mother." The female voice seemed happy.

I didn't know who she was but she definitely knew me. I listened closely to her surrounding through the phone. I looked back at my friends to check on their reactions. It seemed as if it was only Luna that was scared out of her wits.Well, she has always been scared of everything so, I did not bother much.

She was definitely in a car. But she wasn't alone. Another conversation could be heard. It sounded like two other men. They were talking about guns. I guessed that the guns were for us, our death. The gun made a click sound. They were prepared but I was not worried about it. I smelled their bullets. It was not laced with Wolfsbane. Well, I hope not.

I heard another one shuffling in his or her seat. I peaked at the rear mirror. It was most likely the driver who was shuffling in his seat. He seemed unhappy or nervous in a sense. Was he forced to drive? I squinted at him a little closer and tried to pick up his scent. It smelled familiar with a mix of feelings. He was nervous and scared. I focused hard. His scent was too familiar.

I knew him.
