BlackOut's truth and the final battle.

Nicholas picked Evanora's body up and looked at her, saying: "You're one hell of a mess, you two.. But at least BlackOut didn't kill the body while feral."

Lynx looked at Evanora worried, and Lucas hurried to Nick, asking: "Mr. Nick, will she be okay?"

Luna hurried to her father and looked at Evanora, whispering: "BlackOut.. She had such an extreme reaction to Mr. Phoenix.. Why?"

"She's gonna have to say the reason herself, I'm afraid. I don't want to say it and make her uncomfortable." - He answered, while feeling Evanora move. He looked down and saw that when she opened her eyes, they were brown.

He set her on her own two feet gently, saying: "Take it easy, Evie."

"Ugh.. What happened..?" - Evanora held her head and looked around, seeing Phoenix's lifeless body. She then looked at her own hands, seeing they were still black from the corruption - "Hm, BlackOut's still here.. Wait, something's not right, what's this feeling..?"

BlackOut's voice then fused with Evanora's: "I feel like we're forgetting something.." - They started to think together, walking back and forth, until Vylvia turned BlackOut towards her and said: "Hey, BlackOut, remember that we gotta get to Alexander. We wouldn't wanna waste an opportunity at revenge like this now, would we?"

Fyriana turned to Vylvia and started to recognize her somehow, she couldn't lay her finger on it though. Vylvia caught her looking and said: "Yes, honey?"

"WAH— N-Nothing, it's just.. you look familiar.. Makes me remember my mother." -Fyriana hid herself behind Lynx.

Vylvia smirked and rested her chin on her palm while having her arms crossed, saying: "Really, now? Well, I feel like you will find out why very soon, my dear Fyriana.."

"HUH?!" - Fyriana shouted in surprise, while Lynx had his guard up.

BlackOut fully surfaced and turned to them, grinning mischievously: "Oh yeah.. You don't know Vylvia, do you, Lynx and Fyriana? She was the one who tortured Alexander before he was reborn as the God of Werewolves we know today. AND ALSO!" - She pointed at Fyriana, smirking - "Vylvia Orielle is Xanny Orielle Abraxas' mother! Ain't THAT a surprise for you and your bother.. FAMILY REUNION BEFORE CHAOS!" - BlackOut burst out laughing.

Nicholas turned to BlackOut and put his hands behind his back, his wizard hat making a shadow over his eyes: "Well then, you sure seem piped up, what's all this about meeting up with Alexander? I won't even ask about Vylvia, you must have your sick reasons."

"You do know me well then. It's about revenge anyway." - BlackOut answered and then noticed Aaron feeling stressed and his ears down due to fear - "Now, that fear.. Is it because of me, or the big bad wolf? I didn't even notice you were back because I was going feral on that shitty former principal."

"…What was your last interaction with Alexander..?" - Aaron asked, fidgeting slightly.

BlackOut scoffed in amusement, replying: "I broke my deal with him."

"And what was that?" - Nicholas and Pandora asked in unison while Luna and Aaron looked at BlackOut nervously.

"....I made a deal with him, if I resurrected him and let him have a second chance at life, including me not harming him in any way, he would help me find a cure for Evanora's body, which is ill from Faustian Burn. I got pissed off recently by the fact that I couldn't find a cure, even with his company, so I attacked him when he said it was useless for me to keep trying."

"...So you do care about Evanora?" - Nicholas' gaze softened, raising an eyebrow - "I thought you weren't capable of caring for human beings."

"It's different, Nick. We share a body 24/7…" - She facepalmed and sighed in disbelief of what she was about to say - "....She is my other half, like a sister. She's a part of me, whether I like it or not."

Aaron sensed both beings in that body, and whimpered: "Oh no.. Oh no, oh crap.. His plan.. He's gonna do population control and try to kill you.. To protect me and Harley, and the other werewolves that might be out there.."

BlackOut turned to Aaron slowly, with her eyes widen. For a moment, her expression would seem like it was fear? Surprise? She then burst out laughing, holding her stomach: "Heh.. HEHEHAHAHAHAHAH! HOLY SHIT, NO WAY.. You, Aaron Lycan, you OF ALL PEOPLE, are worried about moi? Now that's a laugh and a half.. I revived Vylvia here for a reason, and besides, I can separate myself from Evie's body. And I myself am immortal. He can try to kill me, but he will just waste his "knight in shiny armor" energy."

Suddenly Evanora's voice resurfaced and a hologram of her appeared in front of BlackOut: "YOU COULD DO THAT THE WHOLE TIME?!" - She (Evanora) looked annoyed, yet surprised.

BlackOut turned to her and smirked, looking into her eyes. Evanora felt something was off and approached her, worried: "Oh no.. BlackOut, don't tell me you have more plans..?"

"Oh, you know, a little revenge here, a little blood there.. We're gonna separate ourselves in front of Alexander, you're free to talk to him yourself if you wish. I have other plans for him."

"You– You are so insufferable.. You're gonna try to kill him, aren't you? Those werewolves weren't enough for you?!" - Evanora angrily asked.

BlackOut didn't lose her smirk, and shrugged, replying: "Dunno, maybe.. You're gonna have to wait and see."

Evanora got annoyed at BlackOut and flew at her, entering her body. Suddenly, their body glowed in lilac, and what was once just BlackOut and a hologram of Evanora, was now a lilac separation of beings, while BlackOut's laughter could be heard. Once they defused, Evanora let go of BlackOut and began to fall but she got caught by her, holding her waist and her wrist, smirking.

"A little rusty, are we?" - BlackOut teased.

Evanora looked up at her, surprised. They were like twin sisters, the only difference was the clothing, Evanora's green eyes, and BlackOut's bright purple eyes. Nicholas then started stroking his chin, looking at the both of them: "Seems I was partially wrong, so you share the body after all, it wasn't a disease?"

"Partially wrong." - BlackOut let Evanora stand up, and continued - "It's more complicated than you think, but I can explain it for you. Nicholas, everyone, I am a curse." - She let her human form fade, revealing herself to be a transparent humanoid purple being, with only her mouth and eyes glowing, she turned to everyone else, crossing her arms - "I am the "daughter" of the book "The Forgotten Rituals". I would have possession of the first person to open the book after so long of being in there. Evanora was the first one, so when we fuse, we share the body and brain, but, as you can see and make your theories about the disease, I will explain.."

BlackOut turned Evanora around and lifted her clothes to show everyone the body's back: "My presence in her body has shown effects of a disease I don't know the cure of: Faustian Burn."

Evanora's back was filled with purple wounds and black scabs instead of the normal human red color. Luna and Lucas gasped when seeing the wounds, while Nicholas and Pandora looked and analyzed. Nicholas turned to BlackOut, as Evanora changed her clothes to a Redsity Academy staff style uniform.

She then turned around and grabbed BlackOut's wrist, annoyed: "Okay, I get that you see me as a sister or something, but who gave you the permission to resurrect people?!"

BlackOut grew annoyed and rolled her eyes, and replied, snatching her wrist back: "Evie, in case you haven't noticed all this time, I revived Alexander to try and find a cure for YOUR body."

Evanora's eyes widened, while BlackOut smirked, continuing: "Don't take it to heart, hun, it would benefit the both of us." - BlackOut then fused with her.

They both sighed and turned to everyone: "Let's pay a visit to the big bad wolf, shall we?"

Nicholas and Pandora prepared themselves, along with Luna and Aaron and the siblings. Meanwhile, Harley's eyes perked and she went on all fours, sniffing the ground and then the air. After a few moments, she mumbled: "Lava.." - She faced everyone suddenly, with a terrified look - "Guys, I smell lava.."

Lynx and Nicholas turned to Harley and then went through the barrier, looking down at the city, Nicholas saw the lava river and then it's origin: "A lava river and a castle." - He looked behind at everyone else - "Me and Lynx are going to stop the lava river. Everyone else, go to the castle, I can sense his presence there.."

BlackOut's eyes flashed in a bright shade of purple as she turned to the castle, wearing the same smirk: "Hm.. Never expected a lava river out of him.. Gotta admit, exceeded my expectations.." - She chuckled and started flying to the castle while Vylvia and everyone else was following behind. While she was flying, she felt something land on her shoulder, she looked over and saw Pandora as a bat: "This is all amusing to you, isn't it..? You're nothing like the people I've met before."

BlackOut tilted her head at Pandora and smiled innocently: "Oh sweet Pandora.. Of course you haven't, I'm a curse, quite literally. I wasn't born from any creature, I am the "daughter" of the most dangerous spell book in all of Redsity, I just so happened to possess Evanora, it could have been anybody. And I only feel amusement, sadism and pain. Besides, you've seen what I'm capable of back when I attacked Phoenix, haven't you?"

BlackOut smirked at her and kissed her cheek, patting it softly, then landing abruptly at the front gates of the castle. She looked up at the gate and put Pandora on the floor as she turned back to normal, while she looked annoyed.

Evanora's voice surfaced and she said: "Me, BlackOut and Vylvia are coming in. Pandora and Fyriana, keep the kids away. For their sake." - She looked at them and they nodded.

*Meanwhile, inside the castle*

Alexander, in his human form, sat down on the throne that was in front of the entrance, on the other side: "Finally, at long last, peace.."

Xanny smiled and then looked at the portcullis, hearing familiar voices beyond it, saying: "Master, we seem to have visitors."

He looked at his servant from the corner of his eye until a maniacal laugh was heard, followed by an all-too-familiar voice: "Now that's a joke.. "Master"? Xanny, dear, you know better than that now, don't you?"

Xanny and Alexander's eyes widened and they suddenly turned to the portcullis, they both knew that wasn't BlackOut's voice. He fixed his tuxedo, asking in loud tone, so they could hear it: "Excuse me, would you mind repeating that?.. If it isn't too much trouble, Vylvia Orielle, the shapeshifter.."

Vylvia chuckled and her scleras went black with her pupils still white, while BlackOut made a spell on the portcullis to phase through it.

"Such sharp ears.. Just one more reason to admire someone who is so hot on the outside, but a vermin on the inside.." - Vylvia blushed, looking up at him, and smirked, licking her lips.

Alexander scoffed when he saw Vylvia and BlackOut as a duo, and then looked over at Xanny, who was conflicted whether to obey her master or stick to her mother's side. Vylvia suddenly pulled Xanny close by her hips and hugged her, whispering into her ear: "Xanny, Alexander is a tyrant, he is selfish and will do whatever it takes to do what he thinks is right.. Don't you think it's better if you stop this act of empathy towards him out of fear..? I can read you well."

"....." - Xanny looked into her mother's eyes and whispered back - "He will hurt me or even kill me if I don't do what he says. That was my deal with him.."

"...So that's how it is.." - Vylvia turned to Alexander and turned her fingers into claws - "Touch my daughter even once and I will kill you on sight. I've spared your life once, I knew that was a mistake.. But it won't happen again."

"How touching.." - Alexander examined Vylvia and turned his gaze to BlackOut - "BlackOut, is this your idea of revenge?"

He locked eye contact with her and examined her, pausing for a few moments, then continuing: "Hold that question for a moment.. Your aura is different.."

BlackOut looked up at him amused and replied: "You have three against one. And yes, my aura is different, Alexander.. I'm gonna rip you to shreds today." - She then looked down - "Evie, ready to come out of your shell?"

As a prompt of approval, Evanora forced a defusion. BlackOut now in her natural form, and Evanora backing away from the trio.

"BlackOut, don't kill him-" - Evanora tried to speak up.

"Let her do as she pleases, she's already broken the deal, she's got nothing to lose." - Xanny and Alexander spoke up in unison.

BlackOut's calm expression twisted into a psychotic grin and manic eyes as she started preparing herself. Xanny looked over at BlackOut and then at Alexander, wondering if there would be a punishment for standing with them.

Alexander turned into a werewolf and started growling, approaching Xanny like she was his prey. BlackOut locked on target, in her feral form.

"Choose your moves wisely, your majesty.." - Vylvia retracted her claws but was about to close one of her hands into a fist, in the middle of her hand a pink spell was visible, while his curse mark was still active.

Alexander's left eye twitched as he could feel her presence on the curse mark again. He felt like he was between the sword and the wall but his anger made him leap forward at Xanny.

"WRONG MOVE, MOTHERFUCKER." - BlackOut jumped on top of him and her claw gripped his back muscles from inside his body, making him feel extreme pain, while Vylvia made him fall to the ground due to the curse mark hurting him while she closed her hand into a fist.

"GARGH..-" - Alexander made a shockwave to try to make her the wall but BlackOut phased through it with ease, stopping herself abruptly.

"Pffft.. HAHAHAH!" - Her eyes widened in amusement while her hands glew bright with a spell forming - "So the fucker is more human than werewolf.. INTERESTING.."

She flew back into the castle, Fyriana and Pandora looked worried at each other, with Aaron angry about BlackOut's reactions.

Evanora watched Alexander suffer and BlackOut flying to him. She couldn't bear watching any longer and threw herself in front of BlackOut, fusing with her.

Both fell to the ground, defusing again. Evanora was panting from stress, while BlackOut growled and lifted her by the arm angrily, asking: "HEY! WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?!"

"I- I-" - Evanora closed one of her eyes as she could feel the strongest grip she's had someone handle on her, coming from BlackOut no less.

BlackOut glared at her, waiting for an answer.

"BlackOut, go into your human form.. I need to slap you." - Evanora stood up, looking at her.

She did as she said, and Evanora slapped her across the face, shouting: "DID YOU FORGET WHAT WE'RE HERE FOR?!"

BlackOut was gonna hit back but Alexander body slammed her into the opposite wall of the castle angrily.

She gasped in pain, and looked angrily at Alexander, smirking. She filled her hand with corruption and was about to touch his face, when Evanora got in between them. She glared at both of them, saying: "BLACKOUT, STOP THIS INSTANT."

"Or else what?" - BlackOut asked mockingly, smirking.

Evanora looked at BlackOut, thinking: "Is she serious..?!" - and then smiled at her, bluffing - "Or else I will throw myself into the lava river that's going STRAIGHT TO REDSITY."

"Excuse me, LAVA RIVER?!" - Alexander grabbed Evanora with his giant claw to lock eye contact, letting his protector instincts kick in.

"Oh yeah.. That." - BlackOut wiped the blood off her mouth.

Vylvia glared at Evanora, for stopping the attack abruptly and said: "Evie, honey.. Do you think you're being smart right now? Your brother and Lynx are already taking care of it. If you get in the way again, I won't be so nice about this.."

Evanora's eyes widened as she looked at Vylvia's expression. She was blood thirsty. BlackOut's eyes went completely black and she appeared behind Vylvia, holding her claws to her chest, while feral.

"....Listen carefully, I revived you for you to get your revenge on Alexander and hurt Alexander ALONE. Lay one finger on one of Evanora's hairs and.." - She concentrated her corruption at the tip of her claws and started slowly pressing them on her chest, while Vylvia quietly groaned and protested in pain - "You'll regret it, honey. I promise you that."

BlackOut got back to her normal form, then kicked Vylvia to the ground with disgust and walked up to Evanora, while she looked surprised at her reaction. Alexander let out a low grumble, while looking at BlackOut.

"...." -BlackOut started chuckling and facepalmed. After a few moments of laughing to the point of holding her stomach, she bolted upwards with a death glare - "Quit the grumbles. You wanna fight? Go ahead. Hit me, I fucking dare you. You're too scared, aren't you, puppy? I'm fucking immortal, you're half human. And a bloodthirsty succubus is teaming up with a curse. Think you can survive? Or will you surrender and do as we FUCKING SAY?!"

Alexander grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up, standing up being the height of nearly 7ft, tilting his werewolf head at her: "....BlackOut, when will you realize that you have no power over me or my decisions..? You rule over nothing."

"You rule over Redsity in your mind and heart though, I can see it.. You care about it.. And if you don't help my brother and Lynx, Redsity will get destroyed because of your greed. You built a castle here, and no one knew there was an inactive volcano here." - Evanora turned her gaze from Vylvia struggling to Alexander who was strangling BlackOut.

Alexander slowly turned to Evanora and dropped BlackOut. BlackOut fell to the ground, holding her throat, trying to catch her own breath. Her anger rose from Alexander touching her, she turned her attention to him, with corruption flowing through her entire body, while she growled.

"Don't." - Evanora glared at her.

BlackOut stopped growling abruptly and the corruption slowly stopped flowing through her entire body, making it stop glowing. She flew at her and forced a fusion. They both sighed and said: "Alexander, Redsity needs you."

Alexander glared at BlackOut but agreed to, since he could sense Evanora's determination as a hero.

He opened the portcullis and said: "Everyone, to Redsity. They need us."

Pandora and Fyriana nodded, Luna and Pandora turned into bats and flew to Redsity, where the lava river was, while Aaron followed behind. Vylvia and Xanny shapeshifted into flying beings, and flew behind, along with BlackOut and Evanora.

Alexander then encountered Nicholas and Lynx, who were struggling to stop the lava river. Alexander started to look nervous, he went into his human form and used a spell to completely stop the lava river, turning it into obsidian.

Lucas was being carried by Luna, following everyone. They then landed on city grounds, along with everyone else. Fyriana walked over to Xanny and slapped her across the face, angrily, saying: "You doubted me.. Underestimated me. For what? I ended up in Redsity Academy anyway.."

Xanny's eyes widened and she turned to Fyriana and her brother in disbelief, BlackOut then said: "Thanks to me and Evanora."

"Wait.. You saved us back then?! YOU?!" - Fyriana then turned to BlackOut.

"Yep.. Crazy, ain't it?" - BlackOut smirked at her.

Alexander closed his eyes and walked in front of everyone, reviving all the werewolves that were killed by BlackOut, including Aaron's brother, Jason Lycan, the new guardian of Heaven.

BlackOut looked at all the werewolves and her body started to ache, due to bloodthirst. She got in an attack position but Evanora forced a defusion and grabbed her wrists wearing a smile, calmly saying: "Let's calm down now.. How about an apology instead? I know you wanna do it, but there's other solutions, that even Pandora and Luna use.."

"OH GREAT! First, you threaten to kill yourself to get me to stop attacking Alexander while studying him, now you're telling me to APOLOGIZE to a BUNCH OF PATHETIC-"

"BlackOut." - Jason walked in front of the pack of werewolves as their leader.

BlackOut growled as she stopped in her tracks angrily and glared at Jason. She examined his face and then looked at Aaron.

Jason was surprised he caught her attention, but noticed Lucas holding Evanora's hand, as a symbol of empathy. He (Jason) continued: "We know you're immortal, our majesty has already mentioned it. We shall let him decide what your punishment will be, as long as Nicholas LightSky agrees, since he is Evanora's brother and responsible for both of you. Phoenix isn't alive to make this decision for himself, so we will have to choose Nicholas as his descendant."

"Pfffft.. I wonder why Phoenix isn't here to witness this.." - BlackOut started to laugh.

Evanora gave her a nudge, not even looking at her.

Jason raised his eyebrow at BlackOut while giving her a death glare, but proceeded to bow, saying: "Mr. Nicholas, Your Majesty, your judgement, please."

Nicholas and Alexander looked at Evanora and BlackOut for a few moments until Nicholas broke the silence: "Evanora and BlackOut can work for Redsity Academy under mine and Pandora's surveillance. If BlackOut tries anything, we will put her in solitary confinement."

BlackOut scoffed, smirking. Evanora looked at BlackOut while Alexander nodded: "I agree. She needs to be controlled by someone."

Evanora faced Alexander and Nicholas, and announced: "If BlackOut goes into solitary confinement, I will go as well." - Her tone and expression was serious.

Nicholas looked at Evanora taken aback, and Alexander gave her a glance, asking: "And why is that, Evanora?"

".... Because I'm responsible for her existence. I'm her sister and her other half according to her. I hate to admit it, but I agree with her, I can't see myself being away from her. She helped me survive one way or another, she even saved me from Vylvia."

BlackOut turned to her, and smiled, taken aback. She chuckled and grabbed Evanora's shoulder, looking into her eyes, mumbling: "I influenced you, didn't I? You like my presence, you just won't admit it."

Evanora closed her eyes and sighed, replying: "I care about you. That's it."

"Hm." - BlackOut smirked.

"Then it's decided." - Alexander crossed his arms, smiling - "I will build a village for the werewolves here.."

Aaron looked at Jason, worried. Jason noticed why, and said: "I know your concerns. If you would like to join us, you're fully welcome to."

Luna looked at Aaron. Aaron looked back at Luna and smiled, kissing her lips. BlackOut looked away, annoyed, while Evanora smiled.

"Jason, if it's okay to break the deal we had.. Can I stay at Redsity Academy? I want to be a hero, and I have a second chance at life now, for real.. My first mission was completed, to stop BlackOut. I want to help and save people. Complete our dream." - Aaron asked, smiling gently.

Jason smiled at Aaron's determination and walked towards him, hugging him.

"Of course. Nicholas, do you accept Aaron into your academy?" - Jason looked up at Nicholas, eager to hear a yes.

Nicholas smiled in delight for the first time in a while and replied: "Jason, Aaron is an official student at our Academy. He is more than welcome to join us."

BlackOut fused with Evanora to avoid getting annoyed and attacking anyone. Evanora giggled and BlackOut said: "Shut up, Evie."

"Whatever you say, sis." - Evanora teased her.

Nicholas then bowed to Alexander in respect, so did Jason, Luna, Aaron and Evanora. Alexander bowed back, and shook hands with Nicholas.

Nicholas looked up at him: "I recognize your determination in keeping your kind safe, and I will help you. However, if anything happens in your future village, do let us know, we will immediately be here to help."

Alexander grinned and nodded in agreement - "Yes, thank you, Nicholas."

"Now then, this is where we part ways. I wish you the best of luck."

"I appreciate it."

"Before that, Mr. Nicholas.. May I just quickly do something? BlackOut, please defuse. You're not gonna like it." - Lucas turned to Evanora and smiled.

BlackOut defused and backed away, angrily. Lucas looked into Evanora's eyes, saying: "Evie.. I forgive you for everything. And remember when I told you I didn't know how to feel when you confessed to me?"

Harley peeked at them from behind Pandora, while Aaron and Luna looked at them, excited to know the answer. BlackOut, however, ready to attack if Lucas hurts Evanora once more.

Lucas smiled and pulled Evanora into a kiss. Both blushed, Evanora, surprised as ever, Lucas, holding her lovingly.

He pulled away, holding her hands: ".. I've figured it out, Evie." - He looked at her, smiling - "And I would like to ask you, in front of your family, and even BlackOut.. To be your boyfriend."

Evanora gasped, and turned red. BlackOut was confused, still glaring at him, she didn't understand human emotions, let alone love. She found it disgusting how someone could "love" someone else.

Evanora, after a few moments regained her composure and sighed, embarrassed by how flustered she was: "Ahem.. Sorry, oh my god- Yes, I accept! Of course I accept! I've waited for a long time.. I never thought it would happen-"

Lucas chuckled and hugged her. BlackOut rolled her eyes and said: "Okay, lovebirds, enough chatting, I'm fusing back with her."

Evanora smiled and tacklehugged BlackOut, she got surprised and shouted: "HEY, HOLD UP-"

They fused and she continued: "WHAT WAS THAT?!"

Evanora replied: "It was affection, get used to it."

Lucas smiled, witnessing Evanora's bond with BlackOut. Nicholas casted a spell to make a cloud elevator back into Redsity Academy, with everyone from there inside, waving goodbye to Alexander and his people.

BlackOut looked down at Alexander and everyone else after resurfacing, then at everyone else, announcing: "I'm still gonna be a menace, I hope you know that."

Pandora turned to her and replied: "That's gonna be useful for training."

BlackOut smirked at her and crossed her arms.
