What did I do to this man?

For the next few minutes, everyone in the room only stared at the young master in silence, who kept asking strange questions one after another. Each question he asked was like a bomb being thrown at the occupants of the room. I could see the look on the servants' faces. Fear, confusion, worry, and all kinds of emotions were visible on their faces.

'What the hell is going on?'

As for me, that was the only thing passing my mind. This wasn't what was supposed to happen. No, really? Did I really break him? Did I use too much force?

'Shit. Should I regress and start things over again?'

I looked at my young master who had the face of a lost child instead of his usual stoic, and sometimes fierce, expression. He also turned his head to look at me, who was still sitting on the ground in front of his bed.

"Sir, why are sitting there? Isn't the floor cold?"

"..."

My mouth automatically opened wide and my jaw dropped to the ground. What did he just say? Did he call me 'sir'? Also, what the hell is with that soft and caring voice?

"Y-young master Alaric..."

The old servant stuttered as he stared at the young man sitting on the bed, before turning towards the other servants standing beside the door and shouting at them.

"Call the doctor! Hurry!"

"Yes, sir!"

Two servants ran out of the room in a hurry. The old man glanced at them for a second before picking up a glass and filling it with water. He then handed the glass of water to the young master.

"Young master, please drink this. It'll make you feel better."

"Huh? Ah!"

The young master looked between the servants who were running out of the door, the glass of water, and the old man. He reached out his hands and grabbed the glass before smiling slightly at the old man.

"Ah, thank you, sir!"

"Gasp!"

Several gasps were heard in the room, coming from different people. And one of those gasps belonged to me.

'He said 'thank you'... Holy shit...'

Did he lose his mind?

"What is the matter, young master Alaric?"

Someone stormed into the room at that moment, the two servants that had left a few moments ago were following him, panting heavily.

'They were fast...'

Did they run all the way to the doctor's room? That seemed to be the case.

The doctor asked what the problem was and then went to examine the young master. I was dragged back by someone and thrown to the other side of the room. A few guards came out of nowhere, guarding me so that I wouldn't run away. Not that I had the intention to do that.

After a few moments of thoroughly examining the young master, the doctor raised his head with a grave expression. He took out his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose as he closed his eyes.

'What?'

Why was he making such an expression? It is similar to how he looked when I once did permanent damage to the young master's future generations...

'I'm sure though! I didn't hit him in the wrong location this time!'

"Sigh."

"What is it?"

The doctor glanced at the old servant before shaking his head.

"I'm afraid we must inform the count and the countess first."

"...Is it that serious?"

The old servant's expression turned grim as well.

"Call who?"

Meanwhile, the young master was still looking around. He seemed a little bit calmer now, but he was still confused.

"I'm afraid it is."

"Gasp!"

I heard several gasps from all around the room before countless gazes turned to look at me, asking what the hell did you do to our young master.

Don't look at me like that! I don't know either!

"What is the problem with young master Alaric?"

"Alaric? Who?"

The young master's words were ignored.

"I guess... It must be something like... Memory loss?"

"W-why all of a sudden?"

The doctor shook his head once again.

"I can't be sure but... There were cases where the memory was lost in people with turbulent mana flow... Though it needs a trigger..."

He sent a sideway glance at me.

'Me? Trigger?'

But I've done the same thing several times in several lifelines and nothing had happened!

"Pardon?"

"Gasp!"

"Memory loss?"

"Hurry! Call the count and the countess!"

The room went into a frenzy.

'What the hell? What the hell! What the hell!'

I was staring at the doctor in disbelief.

'Who would lose their memories after getting punched in the stomach? What the... Really, what is going on? I hit him in the STOMACH! How could you reach such a conclusion?'

I ignored all of the cold and threatening gazes on me and only looked at the young master with my mouth wide open.

'Is he perhaps, acting?'

No. Even if he was acting... He can't be this real! The young master too was looking at the doctor with wide eyes as his jaw dropped to the ground.

"I'm sorry what?"

Said young master Alaric.

"Everything will be alright, young master Alaric. There is no need to worry."

He looked at the old servant who was consoling him with a shaky voice and a teary face. Then, the young master's eyes opened wide. They were as wide as a plate. He seemed so choked that I thought his eyes might fall off from his skull at any moment.

"Alaric?"

He tilted his head.

"Count and Countess? Young master Alaric? Young master... HOLY SHIT!!"

The young master suddenly screamed after mumbling those words and threw the blanket covering his body aside. The servants and the doctor flinched and rushed to do something, but the man didn't even look at them.

"HOLY SHIT! WHAT? WHY???"

He jumped out of the bed and ran towards the large mirror placed on one side of the room. Once he looked at himself in the mirror, his face paled and his body started to tremble slightly. He touched his light brown, almost golden hair, and blinked his amber eyes. He then poked his soft and pale skin.

"It's... This is... Alaric..."

He mumbled again with a shaky voice. The servants, who didn't know what was going on, were roaming around the young master and saying different things, but he didn't seem to listen to them.

"Wasn't he... a character in that...? Eh? Eh? What? Really?"

I heard him say some incomprehensible things again.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???"

The young master yelled like a crazed man, pulled his hair, slapped his checks, then again pulled his hair.

"Stop it, young master!"

"Young master Alaric!!"

"Doctor! Do something!"

"Young master please calm down!"

"WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE???"

The man just kept screaming.

"..."

Looking at him, I gulped down my saliva.

'I broke the young master...'

I looked down at my hands.

'I broke him... I broke this man...'

Cold sweat was dropping down from my forehead.

"Gasp!"

THUD

I raised my head again after hearing a loud gasp and then a thud, only to see that my broken young master had plopped down to the ground while grabbing his head. His face looked like he was suddenly in pain before his eyes went unfocused and he suddenly fainted.

"YOUNG MASTER!!!"

"Doctor! Do something!"

"Oh my god!"

"Young master fainted!"

"YOUNGGG MASTERRR!!!"

Everyone was going crazy. Some started screaming and some were crying. They were so focused on the fainted man that they had completely forgotten about me, who was still sitting on the ground in an empty spot in the room.

"...."

Looking at the crowd moving the unconscious man to his bed, a smile gentle small crept into my face.

'I damaged my young master.'

The room was blowing up from all the noise the servants, doctors, and guards were making.

'I need to regress again.'
