The Border

Atsuki and Verda blasted away, using debris around them to attack each other. Hoping for the other to be distracted. But they were flying away from their destination, flying past the gaps of the underground car park and towards the impact, to Verda's delight. To make things even worse for Atsuki, her golden ball shield was still standing. Using her staff, Verda immediately caused the other side to rumble. She pins Atsuki down, barely able to rise towards her. But she didn't realize the tricks she had up her sleeve.

"Nerf this!" She roared as she soared away from the cracks. Ahead of her, she began to hear water beginning to seep in. She must be increasing the gap, preventing her from escaping. Now remains of piping is thrown at her. Atsuki tries to move, but she could barely move an inch. She stares up at her as she beamed, soaring away from her. "Was she sandbagging? It can't be... she corrupted my abilities?!?" She struggles to move away from the bonds binding her. The 'feathers' sinking into her skin as she did. But every move, she felt as if she was sinking. Below her, the smoking heat from the molten core deep below heats her up. Now completely distracted as her clothes are completely drenched with sweat.

"Was she serious? Forcing me to pick my poison?!? No. I had already had enough!" Atsuki thought to herself, looking infuriated back at her. With strenuous might, she gives another shot at it. The force was immense. She stares to see blood flowing out from her head. It was taking her toll. With one final push, she gave out more force. Finally breaking from her grasp. She looks up at the sun rays, beaming back down. Furious at what she was doing.

"She is gonna pay!"

She launches up in the air. The time taken to get up felt almost non-existent as she flies up, immediately trying to spot Verda who as right now pinning everyone with the stupid gold staff of hers. She stares at the staff with hatred. She definitely strong because of that item. But what if she removed it?

She throws large amounts of debris from the ground. Full of clunky metal and tall fallen apartments. All in pieces from the large impact. With a small smile, she throws all of it at her. Immediately catching her by surprise.

Verda quickly minimize the impact. Holding down on the debris as she continue to pin down everyone around her. Atsuki wasn't pleased, sending more of the debris her way. Her strength was wavering, being cracked like stone. Thrown further to her breaking point.

Atsuki was hoping that she would be broken at this point. She didn't want to unleash her final two abilities. However she was rather persistent, continuously stopping all her attacks. To make this even worse, she was struggling to move.

"She's... getting to... me...?" Atsuki thought to herself as she puts even more stress on Verda. She looks away, spotting the large fleet flying towards the border while other mono-eyed mobile suits struggled to stop the fleet. She sees how close she was towards their battle. What if she spots them? They would be toast.

"Screw this!"

With newfound strength, she unlocked the keys to the new door. Her eyes immediately went white. The burst of wind stronger than ever as it cuts the sky in a large radius, immediately catching everyone's attention.

Verda looks in horror as everything comes upside down. She tries to use the staff to put her in place, but it was too much. "My mom's reputation..." she struggles to move about as she is immediately sent falling.

Alfred watches from the cockpit. Amazed at the sight. It was like two worlds colliding with one another. A battle between heaven and hell. Torn debris colliding with one another, all pummeling above the bright yellow ball. Shane looks with concern, ready to help, but he blocks her.

"No not now. Let them settle it by themselves."

Verda covers herself as she falls onto the ground. Realizing her newfound position.

"She changed the gravity of this area around her? No it can't be... then why is one side of the area falling towards her? No..."

Her mind is in large confusion as she comes falling down. Crashing onto the cold hard floor with all of the debris falling onto her face. She freaks out, immediately trying to stop the impact. But the sticky and gooey grip is lost.

"What?"

She looks up to her hands, missing and still dripping goo onto her lap. She stares up to see the staff, on the ground beside Atsuki who without it, places all of the rubble carefully back in place as her 'feathers' aimed back into her skin.

All the men stood in fear, slowly walking past, staring away and heading towards the border.

"I... give... up..." Verda say stammering as Atsuki took up the staff and handed it back to her. Her stuck up skin was now released from it's sharp jab. All her 'feathers' reconstructed back into it's original form. She whispered back, still rather lively but bloody in terms of looks.

"No hard feelings there. Actually that was fun, you almost got me," she swipes off the dust from the rubble as Verda looks at her uneasily. She continued, "You could had won against me, I got the shock of my life!"

She shows her her pants, completely drenched as she tried to break the uneasy mood. Laughing out loud uneasily, Verda watched how Atsuki was completely drenched in many areas as she was brought back up, exiting the crater Atsuki had formed. Atsuki looks at the tall dark structure as all the vehicles storm towards it. Shaking her head.

"To be honest, I don't know why we are doing this. But the fact that your father did something nasty is unforgivable. So now, shall we go and see?" Atsuki took Verda's hand, strong in it's grip as she nods with a tinge of fear. Levitating and catching up to the fleet. Right behind Sergio who was dashing towards the front lines.

She stares into the city. Now in flames as fires broke out. Riots were over the roof as rioters fought the soldiers, all forced to shoot. Though it seemed that most if not all of the residents were rather confused and fearful. Was Shane truly right?

As they levitated, she spots the fleet head into the hangars. Baku launching up and above, for surveillance. Now in her best suit. A golden paint job, the large bird flies up in a renewed inferno. Just like a rebirth. A metal phoenix. Above it was a dark swirling cloud. Just like before.

"Oh no...."

Shane busts out of the helicopter as she sees Yan pulling out a pistol, and not in a mobile suit. He tries to shoot her but doesn't feel to. He drops the pistol as he looks away.

"Go. You would only understand your mistake up there," he sighs hesitantly as everyone gets out of the helicopter and into the lifts. The soldiers stood behind, covering all the areas.

As everyone moved out, he quickly sneaks away and onto a platform. Staring at the dark blue and silver two tone monstrous machine. The Penöip.

It had curvy armor, flowing around the machine like a muscular man. In its head was a large antenna with a bat-like mask covering the mono-eyed camera. All staring down at him. It featured a circular backpack amongst it's two katana holders and a rather large sub-machine rifle with large jet engines. It was supposed to be Lino's. But since he wasn't using it...

He smiled with glee as he sneaks up and hops in the sphere cockpit. The screens and icons popping out in a frenzy, whizzing alive. He is amazed. He always heard how the machine was the most high tech out of any mobile suit made in Sector B. Sure enough the allegations were true. He touches the rather cold but grippy controls connected to the seat. It moved like fine wine.

He activated the engines and dashed out like a blue comet, blowing up the KEMP W Extensive Types standing guard in seconds. He doesn't need to know what happens next, all he needs to know that Harold is ready, parked close to the moon. Even if there is a chance they can't control it, they can still make it work. He grinned.

Wonder where he had gone to? Along with Harold?...
