Twice is more than enough.

Time: 14:17, Monday Location: School

Kurisu is by Asahi's table, talking to him.

Asahi: "Hey Kris, is it just me or are you really happy today?"

Kurisu: "Maybe..."

Eva walks into the classroom with bandages all over her. All of her friends rush over to her, some hug her while the others ask things like "ARE YOU OKAY???" and "WHAT HAPPENED???". She whispers something to them and they all look at Kurisu.

Asahi: "Hey, bro, did you notice that tons of girls are looking straight at you right now?"

Kurisu turns around and looks at them. They quickly run towards him and bow to him.

Girl 1: "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!"

Girl 2: "YOU'RE THE BEST!!!"

Asahi is pushed back as tons of girls bow to Kurisu. They smile and walk away.

Asahi: "*walks up to Kurisu* What was that?!? I know you're hot but seriously, all of Evangeline's friends rush into hu- WAIT A SECOND!"

After school... Time: 19:00 Location: In front of the school

Kurisu and Asahi are in front of the school in the front yard, with tons of other students looking at a stage.

Asahi: "What are we here for again?"

Kurisu: "The new free promotional concert for the new school band Asterix."

Asahi: "Wait really?"

Kurisu: "No, dumbass, there are some big news and announcements."

Asahi: "Oh...wait isn't that your girl over there?"

Kurisu: "Who?"

Asahi looks at Eve that's around 20 meters away.

Kurisu: "*looks at Asahi* You sneaky little ba-"

A man walks up on the stage, dressed in a white battle suit with long sleeves, gloves and pants. He is also wearing a white open cloak with short sleeves. He has white medium hair and red eyes.

Man: "Welcome students, to the first-ever school event, which is probably become a big part of your life. My name is Ryan Raito Shizen, but you can call me Rai, I am a strategy master. In this event, you can participate in different studies in different countries. Strategic studies, martial arts classes, support classes and a professional Shindo training program. Your teachers/sensei are all professional A or S rankers. This could get your grades up depending on your activity and success. You can all sign for these classes now and you can attend a maximum of 2 of them at a time. Of course, this isn't necessary. Thank you for your time and patience."

Most of the students seem excited and happy.

Eve notices Kurisu and walks over to him and happily says:

Eve: "Hey Kris! How are you?"

Kurisu: "I should be asking you that."

Eve: "Which classes are you going to?"

Kurisu: "Strategic classes and pro-Shindo training program. I'm somewhat of a nerd for strategies."

Asahi just walks away feeling ignored but happy.

Asahi: "*mind*Damn. Even the class's most hated student got a girlfriend before me. I guess I should take some time to help myself instead of him, he completed his goal now I need to complete mine."

Asahi seems happy but troubled as he walks away.

Eve: "So, umm... what are we going to do with the "thing" going on between us?"

Kurisu: "You went from a mouse to a tiger..."

He says pulling her closer to him.

Eve: "*blushes* H-huh?!?"

Kurisu: "*smirks* You should've seen your face."

Eve: "Are you really playing that dirty?"

Eve starts pushing against him, putting her arms around his neck, putting her face closer and closer to his. He widens his eyes a little.

Eve: "Now it's my turn..."

Eve pulls down his mask and kisses him. Everybody around sees it and they seem very shocked. The boys of that school are angry except a few of the honurable men who admit defeat and take the loss greatly while the others seem angry or make theories that he drugged her or something similar.

Kurisu closes his eyes and puts his arms around her waist, hugging her tightly.

Ryan: "*mind* Something is interesting about that boy... he's... different...except his unordinary blue style (In Ember, mostly red and black is worn with some exceptions, while the mostly blue style comes from the village of Haze. Hair colors don't matter, but mostly everyone is either black-haired or blonde, while brown hair is a little rarer than most hair colors.), something else is bothering me about him, but I just can't figure it out!"

Asahi hears the crowd and turns around, seeing Kurisu kissing Eve.

Asahi: "*mind* That's my brother... I'm glad I managed to help him out, but now it's my turn..."

Kurisu: "*mind* Finally... true happiness... feeling the love... fills me with determination."

3 Days later... 20:34 Location: The bridge of Ember

Kurisu and Eve are walking across a bridge while holding hands, which is going over a river that separates Ember into two parts.

Kurisu: "Do your parents know about our relationship?"

Eve: "Do yours?"

Kurisu: "We should meet each other's parents and get solid approval."

Eve: "*smiles*Always planning ahead?"

Kurisu: "Well I have to secure a successful future with my lover."

Eve: "Well while you were thinking about that, I thought about a cute nickname for you."

Kurisu: "*looks at her* Oh really?"

Eve: "Yes, want to hear it?"

Kurisu: "Of course!"

Eve: "It's a bit silly, Kuukun. Because your name is from an old language that's mostly lost, I did some research and found out some cute things!"

Kurisu: "Well, actually -Kun is referring to those of junior status, or it can be used when referring to men in general, male children or male teenagers, or among male friends."

Eve: "Oh... so you don't like it?*stops smiling*"

Kurisu: "N-no, I love it! *mind* My stupid nerdy mouth, god I hate myself."

The same shadowy figure is watching Kurisu again from the distance...

???: "*whispers* I wonder... is that truly him... he seems... happy, stable... alive... I'm starting to wonder... what happened to him to turn into what he is in the future..."

Another voice can be heard speaking to the man.

???: "*whispers* Remember how most Kazumi get their powers... with certain feelings... he awakened only a fraction of his full potential in this time. He hasn't even awakened the abilities nor started the bond with his powers."

???: "You're right... we should wait a little bit longer..."

A skeleton with his body on fire, wearing a black leather jacket and pants and chain going appears behind them:

Skeleton: "*demonic voice* We meet again... time to go back to hell!"

Time: 9:37 (lunch break) Wednesday Location: Behind the school

Kurisu is surrounded by a bunch of guys his age wearing black pants, shoes and a shirt with white short-sleeved cloaks and all of them have the same hairstyle.

???: "How can a freak like you get a goddess like her? What does a freak like you have that we don't?"

Kurisu: "What do you want, Haruto?"

Haruto: "Put you down for good and stop the spell you put on her."

Kurisu: "Spells? You believe in that?"

Haruto punches Kurisu in the stomach with great strength, which knocks Kurisu far back and on the floor.

Kurisu: "*mind* A FUCK! That shit was too fast even for my reflexes! Fuck!"

Kurisu pulls down his mask and spits blood out and pulls it back on.

Haruto: "Look at you... the poor little guy... how can she love somebody like you? She must be unhappy. After one night with me, her taste will be better and yours washed away..."

Haruto pulls out a kunai and stabs Kurisu in the leg, making a deep wound, and quickly covers Kurisu's mouth so nobody can hear him screaming. He stuffs Kurisu's mouth with dirt and continuously punches, kicks and stabs him. Kurisu is on the edge, about to die even... he's on the ground, unable to move... unable to resist... Haruto pulls out his kunai and walks away slowly.

Kurisu: "*mind* This is it... dying to a bunch of bastards behind a school... pathetic... I didn't have enough time... losing contact with reality... My life is ending quicker than a lightning bolt..."

???: "*whispers* He said the Alter..."

Kurisu's eyes start glowing light-blue as all of his wounds heal.

Guy: "*hardly breathing* B-boss..."

Haruto turns around and sees all of his men torn into pieces with bloodstains everywhere. Haruto is shocked and scared, trembling, he falls to his knees. Kurisu appears behind Haruto and puts a knife to Haruto's neck and says with the blankest expression and glowing eyes.

Kurisu: "*whispers* Time to go... you've served your time..."

As Kurisu finishes, he cuts Haruto's throat open, making him bleed to his death...

Eve walks around the corner and in shock says

Eve: "Kris! I finally found you!"

Kurisu: "*breathing heavily* Oh, I've been just...training..."

Eve: "Behind the school?"

Kurisu and Eve are standing in the same place where Kurisu fought, but there are no bodies nor blood...

Kurisu: "Mind if we eat togheter"

Eve: "*smiles* That's what I wanted to ask you, dummy."

Kurisu: "*smirks* Alright. *mind* Alright, what the hell? I managed to kill so many strong dorks in a few seconds, hide their bodies and clear all the blood before my girl sees it. Now if that isn't some delusional shit, I don't know what is then."

Eve and Kurisu sit on the grounds leaning against the wall.

Eve: "Here, try some!"

Eve pulls his mask down and feeds him some rice. Kurisu is slowly eating while smiling.

Kurisu: "Oh yea, Asahi told me that some women like seeing their men's muscles."

Eve: "H-huh??*Blushes*"

Kurisu: "You're red, so I'll take that as a yes."

Eve: "So t-that's why you were training?"

Kurisu: "Maybe..."

Eve: "*smiles* So you are training for me?"

Eve kisses him and smirks.

Kurisu: "H-huh??"

A few hours later... Time: 2:00 Location: Unknown

Kurisu dodged 100 kunai that are being thrown by his worst enemies, and only one strikes him. He looks at who threw it and sees Eve. He falls to his knees, his mask soaked in blood. He looks to his left and sees himself crying, and when he looks back, he sees everybody he loves protecting him, and before he can ask why, he sees them fall to the floor, dead. He jumps out of the bed and sees it was just a dream. His eyes are glowing red brightly...

Kurisu: "*breathing heavily* *mind* What the... that felt too real..."

Location: Kurisu's room

Kurisu: "*mind* God, I hate nightmares..."
